Nicki Minaj Wants All Women to Demand More Orgasms

"I have a friend who's never had an orgasm in her life. In her life! That hurts my heart."

I presume that this is why so many straight women say they wish they were lesbians.

I’m sure there are plenty of sex offenders who’d enjoy giving her one

by Anonymousreply 3December 10, 2018 9:05 PM

I agree. Men view orgasms as an entitlement and women should ask for more.

by Anonymousreply 4December 10, 2018 9:07 PM

Did her friend lose her hands in a tragic accident? If not, she can give herself her own orgasm

by Anonymousreply 5December 10, 2018 9:07 PM

r3 His only offense was giving a ⁽ᵈʳᵘⁿᵏᵉⁿ ᵘⁿᵈᵉʳᵃᵍᵉ⁾ girl an orgasm.

by Anonymousreply 6December 10, 2018 9:09 PM

Reproduction requires male orgasms. It doesn't require female ones. This isn't "male entitlement". It's biological nature.

Women show lowered levels of satisfaction even with solo activities. Women don't like masturbation as much as men, are less likely to orgasm from it, and when watching porn, are much more likely to tune out before orgasming.

All this is proof that orgasm is much simpler for men. Except for teeth and hair, there's not a part of the human body which isn't pleasure to rub one's penis on. As for women, God knows what they need for an orgasm.

by Anonymousreply 7December 10, 2018 9:13 PM

I forgot to add an argument to the following paragraph:
Women show lowered levels of satisfaction even with solo activities. Women don't like masturbation as much as men, are less likely to orgasm from it, and when watching porn, are much more likely to tune out before orgasming.

And this proves that women lag behind the "orgasm race" not because of male incompetence, but because either their lowered sexual desires, or their different set of genitalia, are not as conducive to orgasm as male lust and the simplicity of the penis are.

by Anonymousreply 8December 10, 2018 9:17 PM

But all that isn't true for all women though.

by Anonymousreply 9December 10, 2018 9:19 PM

And some women are multi orgasmic, able to have many, 6 to 10 orgasms in a row one right after the other.

by Anonymousreply 10December 10, 2018 9:21 PM

Shows where her priorities are. Her nasty pussy.

by Anonymousreply 11December 10, 2018 9:26 PM

Who are the 'experts' here weighing in on female orgasms? Gay men? Let me 😂😂😂😂

Did you experts copy all that information from an online source? Because, let's face facts, most men, sure as he'll don't know much about the female anatomy, they need a road map to find the clit.

by Anonymousreply 12December 10, 2018 9:26 PM

She’s not important enough to tell women things like that. Maybe in her own mind, but no.

by Anonymousreply 13December 10, 2018 9:29 PM

There's some research putting the idea of multiple orgasm in question:
"I am extremely skeptical of women with extreme claims like '50 orgasms' and 'one right after the other,'" sex researcher Nicole Prause, PhD, tells Bustle. "The timing is simply not possible." Prause has conducted research showing that when [women] report orgasming, only about half of them demonstrate the vaginal contractions characteristic of orgasm. Of those who reported multiple orgasms, there was only one who actually showed these contractions twice. And, as expected, she was the one whose reported orgasms were furthest apart.

Many women don't know the physical signs of orgasm, therefore, when they may be misreporting both their single and their multiple "orgasms".

R18 honey, assuming you’re truly a straight woman (in which case what are you doing here?) and not really a gay man trolling...have you ever tried an electric toothbrush or a powerful showerhead? Applying physical pressure and oscillation helps women, provided you give yourself private time and space to get into it.

by Anonymousreply 21December 11, 2018 9:30 AM

You are a complete idiot R7!

For women orgasm is very easy through masturbation, not only easy but also more satisfying and deeperdeeper than through intercourse with men.

by Anonymousreply 22December 11, 2018 9:34 AM

R14 as a woman who is bi, I can assure you that we can have multiple orgasms one right after the other.

by Anonymousreply 23December 12, 2018 11:16 AM
For women orgasm is very easy through masturbation, not only easy but also more satisfying and deeperdeeper than through intercourse with men.

I don't doubt that vaginal intercourse is a dud as far as female orgasm is concerned, but if it's so easy for women to orgasm from masturbation, why do they do it far less than men and why do they self-reporting enjoying it less, too?

by Anonymousreply 27December 12, 2018 7:54 PM

Yikes, this thread!

R7, my friend, I've been masturbating more or less daily since I figured out how to give myself an orgasm at the delicate age of 10.
Except for teeth and hair, there's not a part of the human body which isn't pleasure to rub one's penis on. As for women, God knows what they need for an orgasm.

It's exactly the same thing with my clitoris. As long as there's a female body part -- or, hell, even a pillow -- to rub it on, I'm set.

R25 writes:
if it's so easy for women to orgasm from masturbation, why do they do it far less than men and why do they self-reporting enjoying it less, too?

The female body is more than capable of crazy amounts of sexual pleasure. The problem is that so many women are brought up with sexual shame, and are kept totally in the dark about their sexual anatomy by parents and schools. I'm talking about the vulva and the clitoris here, not the ovaries or uterus. And, before someone suggests it, no, the availability of online porn is not a substitute for thorough, medically accurate sexual health education for girls.

So you've got some women who have managed to crack the code, so to speak, but lots of other women who have carried their repression and discomfort with them into adulthood (and terrible male sex partners who underestimate women's capacity for pleasure certainly aren't helping matters).

by Anonymousreply 28December 12, 2018 9:16 PM

Nicki, tell your friend to buy the Hitachi Magic Wand. Problem solved.

by Anonymousreply 29December 13, 2018 12:11 AM
Many women don't know the physical signs of orgasm,

Haha, what? There is no mistaking an orgasm. Anyone would know if they have had one. I wonder why you so desperately want to believe that women don't experience them.

by Anonymousreply 30December 13, 2018 1:35 AM

I remember thinking that women were basically sexless in terms of pleasure before a bunch of female dancers, very in touch with their bodies set me straight (so to speak). One said, "I didn't know what it was called, but I was basically always falling out of the monkey bars, starting at the age of SIX!" Another said, "you know why women are always slipping off their shoes and tucking a foot under them while they're sitting at a desk in the library, right?" Another told me that, starting at age 14, she would hold sort of competitions with herself and a timer, to see how often and how far apart she could have orgasms. On the other hand, I think some women feel the stimulation of sexual activity, the sorts of "electrical shock" sensations they are getting, and mistake those sensations for orgasm. (Until they have a real one).

I do think women are much slower to have orgasms during sexual activity than men, hence the "women are like crockpots, men are like microwaves" line. However, given the proper amount of foreplay, I think women are just as ready to pop. But certainly, on their own, knowing exactly what body parts to stimulate, I think most women could quickly get themselves to orgasm. I read somewhere that humans are the ONLY species where women experience orgasm, and it is believed that because the childhood of humans is so lengthy and really require two adults to manage, orgasm was an evolutionary ploy to keep women interested in sex between their fertile periods, and hence able to keep a man around and interested year in and year out as the children were growing up.

Now that I have to take flomax for prostate issues, there's a side effect associated with it sometimes called retrograde ejaculation, where there is no ejaculation during orgasm. It is so unsettling, that I won't do it. It has almost all the regular sensations of orgasm, but without the expected conclusion. I suspect that that is what female orgasm is like. (Internal muscles clench, strong pleasurable sensations, etc). I alternate flomax with cialis (which gives me terrible back aches if I use it for too many days in a row), so that every few days I can have a "normal" orgasm.

R29 is Samantha Jones

by Anonymousreply 32December 13, 2018 3:52 AM

R30, there have been studies about women not recognizing orgasm because of lack of intensity and lack of familiarity with having one.

I swear, DLers just blurt out their own thoughts like they were facts and don't go looking things up even though Google is right there. I didn't know, I looked it up, I got an answer. Try it sometime, buddy.

I can't even imagine why or how other women could get to adulthood without figuring out how to orgasm, I had my first one by accident at 7 years old while moving side to side in my chair in church because I was bored and antsy.

by Anonymousreply 34December 13, 2018 4:18 AM

R25, because women aren't perpetually horny like men. It's been repeatedly demonstrated that women can be unaware when they're physically turned on. Whatever the reason for the mind/body disconnect, it's why there's still no female equivalent to Viagra.

by Anonymousreply 35December 13, 2018 7:17 AM

Nicki should be worrying about the side effects of having a gigantic “Fix-A-Flat” filled ass instead of worrying about the orgasms of women kind. The pic is from last year ; “ It’s” going to drop again.
I can't even imagine why or how other women could get to adulthood without figuring out how to orgasm

I agree, it's a pretty natural thing. Women, unlike men might not get horny 7 times a day, but when they do they know how to relief the sexual pressure and know how to orgasm.

I think a lot men still think women don't know how to orgasm or have sex with themselves because there is still that old idea that women aren't allowed to have sex unless it's with their husbands. It's that archaic belief that women are a man's property and their sex only belongs to their men. The whole religious virgin cult is based on that. For the Catholics it's the worshipping of Mary and Muslims cut off women's clitoris to make sure that women don't have any fun with sex.

by Anonymousreply 37December 13, 2018 10:55 AM

r28 I'm sorry, but I don't buy that the so-called orgasm gap between the sexes is because of SOCIETY and PATRIARCHY and blablablah. Try a less undergrad excuse. Maybe if we had examples of societies where the orgasm gap is null, or favors women, I would believe that the difference in the disparity Nicki Minaj is alluding to was due to cultural factors only. I don't know any such societies, so until I'm shown such examples, I will stick with my explanation - that evolution requires male, but not female, orgasms during sex, hence the orgasm gap.

And by the way, I'm from a Third World country. I didn't receive a sex education like you do in America. I was not formally taught about masturbation, for example. And I still orgasm every single time when I do masturbate. Are you telling me that are women so incompetent that they'd need A SCHOOL COURSE on giving THEMSELVES an orgasm? Why can't women orgasm solo as much as I do, if they're supposedly as prone to orgasm as men - if the only thing standing between them and 500 orgasms per minute is THE PATRIARCHY?

by Anonymousreply 38December 13, 2018 11:09 AM

r33 Thank you. r30 is trying to treat my argument as if it was just a matter of my having women-hating opinions, when in fact I literally pasted above, at r14, a quote from a female doctor researcher - and posted a link with the quote - saying that when women self-report multiple orgasm, they mostly DON'T show the physical signs thereof. That many, perhaps most, women don't recognize the physical signs of orgasm, is not merely an opinion or a belief of gay misogynist me - it's something that a female researcher found EMPIRICALLY.

Your link includes an interview with the same researcher, Dr Nicole Prause, and it contains details of her experiment:
Understanding orgasm begins with a butt plug. Prause uses the pressure-sensitive anal gauge to detect the contractions typically associated with orgasm in both men and women. Combined with EEG, which measures brain activity, this allows for a more accurate picture of a woman’s arousal and orgasm.
When Prause began studying women in this way she noticed something surprising. [bold]“Many of the women who reported having an orgasm were not having any of the physical signs – the contractions – of an orgasm.”[/bold]

I've read details about her experiment elsewhere. She's said that, while ALL men who report having an orgasm also had anal contractions -- a sign of orgasm in both men and women -- only half the women who said they had orgasms showed such reactions, as captured by the butt plug.

So, when r30 patronizingly tells me, "There is no mistaking an orgasm", maybe she should turn her condescension to her fellow women instead of me.

by Anonymousreply 39December 13, 2018 11:21 AM
[R25], because women aren't perpetually horny like men. It's been repeatedly demonstrated that women can be unaware when they're physically turned on. Whatever the reason for the mind/body disconnect, it's why there's still no female equivalent to Viagra.

That doesn't make much sense. If women aren't "perpetually horny like men", it should be easier to recognize when they DO get horny.

If you feel something 'all the time', you no longer apprehend that feeling as a specific mental state; you interpret it instead as a normal way OF BEING, and stop paying attention to the feeling.

by Anonymousreply 40December 13, 2018 11:24 AM

Nothing funnier than a female orgasm thread on Datalounge. So much mansplaining.

by Anonymousreply 41December 13, 2018 11:26 AM

R39, I don't know what BS research you read, but most women would completely dismiss those findings. I am not denying that certain women don't know how to masturbate and don't know how to get to an orgasm. But, esp in this day and age, every normal, not brainwashed by church or ultra conservative upbringing, women knows how her body works.

by Anonymousreply 42December 13, 2018 11:34 AM
I don't know what BS research you read, but most women would completely dismiss those findings

Yes, let's attack published research because, hypothetically, "most women" would disagree with it.

You sure know how science works -- as soon you say "most women completely dismiss those findings", the journal that published the paper IS FORCED to retract it!

And by the way, it is a well-known fact that most women who participate in sex research lean liberal, secular, educated, and are probably of above average intelligence.

If half the women in a sex research experiment don't know the physical signs of orgasm, this shows that such ignorance is not limited to "brainwashed, churchgoing" women.

Wow, even gay men are obsessed with women's bodies. Just because you rented space in a woman for 9 months, does not mean you know anything.

How can you not know? People have posted the link several times, ya dummy.

by Anonymousreply 46December 13, 2018 11:51 AM

r45 Nicole Prause is not a gay man, sweetie, and I'd be glad to drop this subject if some butthurt third-wavers could accept findings (or at least debate them like adults who understand how scientific research works) instead of just attacking me or gay men as group for reporting something that A WOMAN found.

by Anonymousreply 47December 13, 2018 11:53 AM

Of course women have orgasms... the clitoris is no different from the penis, except it's more concealed and much smaller.

by Anonymousreply 48December 13, 2018 12:08 PM

I'm so angry this was included in the article at r14:
Multiple orgasms for people with penises are possible, too. Some can train themselves to have them by orgasming without ejaculating, but others report being able to have multiple orgasms a few minutes apart without any training. Kate, 35, a trans woman with a penis, has had them spontaneously. "I've had them in rapid succession through anal stimulation, but if it's just penile stimulation, it's more like a shorter refractory period most of the time," she tells Bustle.

This is such a fucking lie, it's just a guy who is claiming to be multiple orgasmic because he wants to be seen as a woman. Real women must be so angry.

by Anonymousreply 49December 13, 2018 12:18 PM

R45, I doubt that our unhinged Mr. Female Orgasm Denier here is a gay man. I'm getting an evo-psych/MRA/incel troll vibe from him. Some of them do wander over to DataLounge, believe it or not. He's way too angry at the women on this thread to be a guy who happily fucks guys; they wouldn't be nearly as invested in this topic as he is.
Why can't women orgasm solo as much as I do, if they're supposedly as prone to orgasm as men - if the only thing standing between them and 500 orgasms per minute is THE PATRIARCHY?

Good thing he enjoys orgasming solo so much, since women are doubtlessly giving him a wide berth in real life!
