The only male celebrities who have come forward to say that have been sexually assaulted by other men, that I know of, are Terry Crews, James Vanderbeek, Shia Labouf, Tyler Perry and Michael Gaston.
According to Corey Feldman, Corey Haim was molested at the age of 14 and Axl Rose has claimed that he shared a hotel room with a gay man who tried to force himself on Rose.

Prior to the latter half of the 20th century. Other than mentions in old court records of child abuse cases, you'd almost never hear about it because buggery ( consensual or not) was often a capital offence.
Even when it was undoubtedly rape there was a pervasive belief that a man couldn't be raped unless he secretly wanted to be, hence the popular theory in the 30s that TE. Lawrence made up the rape story. (Reading it from a modern perspective he was absolutely telling the truth and it fucked him up for life.)

R2 The only other one to add to your list that I can think of is Anthony Edwards. He spoke out about it last year. He was abused by POS Gary Goddard. Edwards also said Goddard raped his best friend. Goddard has been accused by multiple men about abuses when they were young.
The sexual abuse of boys and men certainly has been neglected by the #metoo movement (and in general).

R21 Thanks for that. If people heard the horrific stories, I have no idea why it is considered funny on any level. I don't mean to offend, but male sexual assault victims are especially isolated. I'm not saying women have an easier time dealing with the aftermath of sexual assault, not saying that at all, but they are offered more support and have more resources available to them.
It goes without saying but I'll say it anyway, sexual assault is not an acceptable sitcom punchline because the victim was male.

[quote]Later on I speak with Dr Angella Ntinda, who treats referrals from the RLP. She tells me: "Eight out of 10 patients from RLP will be talking about some sort of sexual abuse." "Eight out of 10 men?" I clarify. "No. Men and women," she says. "What about men?" "I think all the men." I am aghast. "All of them?" I say. "Yes," she says. "All the men."
Rape traumatizes its victims, and many victims afterwards feel shame (unfairly), but for men, the stigma is extremely intense, which is why it's under-reported. I hate those stupid prison rape comments, too. I've been to jail, and was lucky I wasn't attacked, but that was my greatest fear the whole time.

People forget that rape is not about sex but about power. Throughout history, it has been used and abused [no pun intended] in every major war by the victor. It’s almost like anyone can come conquer your land and repair women-that is a given outcome of war. The more powerful way to sow fear is to emasculate the men.

R25 Give me a break. Sexual abuse of boys and men is largely neglected—I said neglected, not ignored by the way. It may not be fully ignored, but it is neglected.
You want to talk about stats? 1 in 6 boys before age 18 are victims of sexual abuse, while girls are 1 and 4. 1 in 10 rape survivors are men. Certainly, women and girls are at a greater risk, but if you think it is about stats, we hear about girls and women being victimized overwhelmingly more than boys and men that is disproportionate to the numbers I posted. Me too and times up have improved the awareness a great deal, but men and boys still overwhelmingly get neglected in the dialogue (and action taken).
It’s more about the stigma that makes it even more difficult for men and boys, not them being abused in fewer numbers Look at the numbers I posted. It’s enough of a problem to be acknowledged more in the public than it is.

Rape is about sex, the guys are horny. Everything straight men do is about power including sex. Straight males are ego driven. Pedos are horny for young boys asses and rape boys. Pedos don't rape women because women dont make them horny. Straight men rape women because the are horny for pussy, in prison they have to settle for the most effeminate man they can find.
When straight men and pedos fuck they aren't empathizing with their partners. There is never any emotional connection with fucking with straight men and pedos the sex acts are about satisfying horniness to get that physical release and dominance, control and humiliation. Straight male sex and pedo sex is sociopathic there is no emotional connection occuring.
Straight male porn is always very rapey with a hyper fixation on sodomy and humiliation of the woman. It makes men straight horny seeing women being humiliated the more degrading the more they get turned on. Straight men spend there days playing violent murderous video games all day pretending that they are conquerors and watching rapey anal humiliation porn all day.
Straight males are animals, the more testosterone the more sub human and animalistic= blacks, arab and latino men. Those are the most violent and rapey. Most of the great inventions were made by asexual male celibate virgins and gay men. That's a fact.

A boyfriend of mine told me that he had been raped by two girls. He had wanted to fool around with one of them, but the other one liked him more and they both pounced on him. I don’t remember the details, but he described going along with it to get it over with. He’d ejaculated but felt gross and ashamed later. He also described feeling overpowered and was adamant that he said “no” and they disregarded him.
We were teenagers at the time, and it was the 80s so it never occurred to me that a man could feel raped by a woman. I couldn’t believe that he was describing a situation that most straight guys fantasize about, but he felt victimized by it.
Also: My husband told me that one of his mother’s friends made a rather aggressive pass at him when he was a teenager. Again, I was surprised to find that it was unwanted. I only know her as an older woman, and even now she’s very attractive. She was gorgeous back when this happened. But he said it was frightening. They didn’t have actual intercourse, but she was sexually aggressive and did things to him that he didn’t want. She is the CEO of a company you’ve probably heard of.
Not sure if this is what OP was talking about, but I hadn’t seen this variation mentioned. It happens.

I remember watching that TV movie called "The Executioners Song" about that guy who demanded that he be killed by firing squad - based on true events. Tommy Lee Jones played the lead and he had a scene where he told his brother that back when he was a kid and sent to multiple juvenile facilities, he was molested/raped there. He also related that when he got big enough, he was one of the boys holding the new kids down as they were raped/molested - how it was just a vicious cycle of male rape in those places.
If you're naming movies, here's two: TV movie from the 70's "The Glass House" - long-time prisoner Vic Morrow puts the moves on cute new fish Kristofer Tabori, offering him perks like angel dust(!) to be his special friend. Kristofer declines and Vic's anger turns to threats of rape. KT is raped near the end of the film.
Same theme in another 70's movie "Scarecrow". Hitchhiking buddy team of Al Pacino and Gene Hackman are thrown into jail for some infraction. A fellow prisoner gets young Al alone and tries to seduce him. Al rejects the advances and It is heavily implied that Al is raped by the guy.

I remember reading an article about mass rape of males - it has happened during The Crusades, WWII, The Bosnian conflict, wars and ethnical conflicts in Congo, Sri Lanka, El Salvador ... but no one talks about it, it has been hushed up (well I would say so) since forever. Some of the victims don't even survive the rape because of the injuries and blood loss. And the survivors have no one, no trained professionals, to talk to because officially "such things don't happen!" It's so awful and sad ...yet interesting (in a way) that it is (still) this big taboo subject. Apparently males cannot think of themselves as victims. The narrative is that women are weak and must always be the victims while men are strong and therefore always the perpetrators. Lara Stemple published some interesting facts about sexual violence against men.

[quote]Rape as posters have said is a weapon of war. It is a war crime.
Remember when the UN finally acknowledged rape as a warning crime and idiots (likely deplorables) misunderstood and went off for days about how the UN was ENDORSING rape to be used in war?
I always felt like that was a good example of how people often can't even grasp what rape is even about. It's more difficult when men are the victims.
Despite what the guy upthread said, MeToo has brought men's stories out into the mainstream, and helped take some of the stigma out of it.
But it's still bad; the last Terry Crewes thread I saw on here was almost entirely full of DLers calling him a liar and a pussy.

R2 both Coreys went on record saying that the first attack on Hai m happened on the set of LUCAS, and a bone-chilling scene in the LifeTime biopic about them made last year alludes to this incident which the Coreys later discuss.
The shooting of LUCAS was a tough year all-round for Haim despite the accomplishment of his performance; besides suffering a severe sexual assault (possibly the first of several) and subsequently his parents' acrimonious public divorce he also began drinking to cope with the pressure of stardom (at age 14) following the influence of a "guardian" he had in RDJ, and furthermore had a major romantic heartbreak to deal with in conjunction with sexuality confusion. For all his success, in some ways he really did have a painful young adolescence for such a nice normal kid. From the wiki:
[quote] H aim read for River Phoenix's role in Stand By Me while eating lunch in director Rob Reiner's backyard, and got the part then turned it down the same day that he was offered Lucas. He later said he would not have changed his decision. H aim turned 14 on the set in Chicago and fell in love with Kerri Green, who played his romantic interest in the film. Not realizing she was 18, he asked her out unsuccessfully. H aim's unrequited love for Green helped inspire his performance, with the real-life dynamics between them expressed on screen. Hai m was nominated for a Young Artist Award for his performance as Lucas, and film critic Roger Ebert gave him a glowing review.

Of course male rape was common and legal in ancient Greek and Rome, and most other slave-owning cultures through history. A man could do what he liked with his slaves, and buggering your page boy or strapping farmhands didn't make you gay!
No, back then it was only considered to be rape if you forced yourself on someone freeborn, or on someone freeborn and near your own social status. Of course we today consider fucking an unwilling slave to be rape, but to a slave-owner it's just getting your money's worth.

Why do men make jokes about male victims? Why do men laugh at anything when faced with adversity? Fear. No man wants to admit that he could be overpowered and sexually assaulted by another man. So laugh at it...it’s what we do. Even some women are uncomfortable with the concept of a male victim of rape.
The was an ex-prisoner who posted on Google newsgroups back in the day to was pretty open and honest about getting raped more than once while serving a sentence for burglary. When he got out, he moved back in with his girlfriend. When she found out that her father had died after a heart attack she refused to go to the funeral. They guy asked her why and she told him that her father had raped her on several occasions when she was a teenager. She started to cry about it. To offer her some comfort and empathy, he finally told her about his own sexual assaults he suffered through.
Instead of accepting this, she looked at him and said, “Wow, what a punk you are! I can’t believe that you let some other guy punk you out like that!”. She started to attack his manhood and he lost it and nearly beat her to death. He ended up back in jail for another decade. It’s hard for me to have sympathy for her at all...she got what was coming to her. But he probably would have been better off just leaving her.

R102 I attended the University of South Carolina, where James Dickey wrote Deliverance and taught as poet-in-residence from 1968 until his death. There is a marker outside of the McCutchen House, noting that it is where he wrote most of the novel. The building is now home to the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, who operates various dining options at the location. One day a professor of mine, asked me to join her and some donors for lunch there. The waitress came to our table and said something along the lines of "Welcome to the Historic McCutchen House. where the author James Dickey wrote one of the Great American Novels, Deliverance. Our special today is roast PORK." I got a salad, there was no way I could eat pork and think about Deliverance at the same time.

Terry Crews, James Vanderbeek, and Michael Gaston claim that they were only groped.

was sexually assaulted by some guys in college; the guys had connections to donors (Yeah, I know that's vague)...it was horrific; the whole time it was happening I thought what's the only way they'll make sure I never talk? Yeah, kill me. That didn't happen (duh, I'm here), but it's what I was thinking.
While I was agonizing over what to do about it all afterwards they actually BRAGGED about it. Before I knew I was being pulled in two different directions -- those donor connections telling me to shrug it off "boys will be boys" and some women at the college who were livid over what happened to me. I was in shock.
I thought if my family found out I'd either be kicked out of the house or it would traumatize my widowed mother.

I knew of many guys that were "pressure punks" ,as in intimidated to submit, but I only ever met 2 that were out and out forcibly raped. One of them being the porn star Jon King (real name Jon Gaines) .His nickname was "Super punk" because of his muscular build. We remained friends for years after until he died of aids, wich he swore to me he got during the rape. The only other guy I knew who was gang raped was only 16 when it happened, and he committed suicide a few years after he got out.I cant speak for all the ones I knew who were pressured into it,but I cant imagine it was a healthy experience for them either. My point is that yes, theres a ton of prison sex happening, but far fewer are forcible rape than you'd think. Of course terrifying someone into submitting could be considered forcible I guess.

Years ago I was binge reading James Elroy novels - and it seemed after a while that all his heroes - and villains! - had been raped or sexually assaulted at some point - and that became the motivation that drive them - either towards good or evil.
After reading several of his books, I'd start a new one and it'd come up - and I'd think - AGAIN???
Is there no other motivation that drives his men other than having been raped??
I think I read later that Rllroy himself had been assaulted when younger and in juvenile detention (? I may have misremembered the location and circumstances) - but it was no surprise to discover it as he seemed to be obsessed with the topic in his writings.

I know a guy - kinda occasional fuckbuddy/friend - whose uncle used to have sex with him when he was a kid - i'm thinking he said it started just before adolescence - and eventually it turned out he was fiddling his own son too - and then would have threeways with them both. My friend is still kinda fucked up over it. He's conflicted cos he knows it was wrong - but he enjoyed it so much and has a huge daddy fetish now - tho he himself as an adult is a top. He and his cousin would play occasionally during teen years and into their early twenties - till the cousin married and moved away.
I gather the uncle had a heart attack - died - and then it came out he'd been diddling his daughters too. Which makes my friend feel even worse to know that this man was doing that.
It's really fucked up. But I think his whole family is odd - for all their respectable suburban facade...

He used to freak the boys out by whipping out his cock and jacking off while sucking them ! I had to tell him "honey, they arent gay men having sex with a gay man!" He was also notorious for incredibly wet and sloppy blow jobs. That being said,he was a sweet and gentle soul and the gang rape really fucked his head up. In fact they let him out of prison early if he wouldnt sue them for the rape.We hung out a lot in Gainesville, and stayed in touch until right before he died.He tried like hell to have a 3 some with me and my husband, but I didnt take it personally as he was just like that. he wanted to fuck anyone, anytime. It still saddens me when I see his pics,he was such a lost and lovely soul. I went with him once to see his family in Savannah and a nicer family you'd never hope to meet. Carl Panzram didn't just start raping dudes for no reason. He ran away from home at a very young age and the first boxcar he hopped on was full of hobos and they gang raped him. From then on it was all bets off, per his words. He had some sort of a head injury at a young age as well from having a botched inner ear operation and he said he never felt right after it.
His confessions are really sad because you can see that he never was allowed to develop an emotional life and he really had no one at all, from a very young age. And then that first day on his own, still a child, he gets gang raped by a gaggle of hobos. It's surprising he wasn't even more of a monster imo.
His prison guard iirc was the one who transcribed his confessions, so he couldn't have been that much of a monster, for the guard to pity him in that way and spend so much time with him, and risk punishment from the higher ups.

Clyde Barrow being raped in prison doesn't surprise me, he was the definition of fresh meat when he first started his record.

just once I'd like to see a male rape victim whip out a gun and shoot his attacker(s)

Well if you want male rape in movies, there's a Dutch film from 1980 called "Spetters", one of those mean-streets things.
There's a closet case who flirts with gay men and then punches them out and steals their wallet, and a bunch of leathermen take revenge and gang-rape him. SPOILER ALERT: He likes it, and ends up dating one of the leathermen.

R194 I am sorry you went through that. I have met more than a few bisexual and gay men, and even some hetero men who were raped, sexually abused, or sexually assaulted.

R220 I read his journals. Panzram was also cut or circumcised to prevent him from masturbation. I do wonder if he murdered any men or women while in central America, like he apparently did in African countries, and North America?

R201 was he bisexual or gay? Was he ever the escort for famous bisexual and gay men? If so who were they?

This very early bisexual activist was raped in prison. It had to have fucked him up as it does to everyone.

:-( most rapes and sexual assault of men go unreported.

OP, Terry Crewes wasn’t sexually assaulted. Some agent drunkenly grabbed his ass at a party (in front of his wife) and Crewes was so affronted that he destroyed the man’s life and career. If it hadn’t happened at the height of “MeToo” he would never have been able to make it the big media sensation that he did.

Veronica Hamel narrated a documentary on rape. This was mostly about women. The topic of fantasizing about being controlled came up.
She explained it well that the woman (or man) is controlling the fantasy about being dominated. You imagine being picked up, hand over the mouth, whispering in the ear...whatever floats your boat. But the difference is that you control the fantasy. You end it when you want. You fantasize about exactly what will happen and what won't.
The real thing is nothing like that. You mostly think you're going to die.

R234 ever read the books my secret garden, and men in love by Nancy Friday? I read them in college and they describe rape fantasies but it is like you described with the woman or man that is fantasizing in control of everything.
