There is always speculation about women coming back from having a kid. Will they come back? Will they still be good at their job? This was important because it shows in an undeniable way that spitting out a kid does not destroy a woman's ability to function at a high level, whatever she's got to do.

When Clijsters won the 2009 US Open, her daughter was 16 months old. So, yes, Serena 's comeback is a little quicker after the birth (her daughter is 10 months old), but it's not like similar feats haven't been accomplished.

And of course, none of what I've written has anything to do with OP's dumb opinion on her appearance.
