What was Miss Thing spending $200,000 on?

HOW did he . . .
by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 12, 2018 3:06 AM |
OK. He really has no incentive to save for retirement because Federal judges retire on full salary and benefits. He makes 220 a year and his wife makes 67k a year and they have a million dollar mortgage on those salaries

Baseball tickets to prove he wasn't a fag.

Great, more financial irresponsibility. JUST what scotus needs...
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 12, 2018 5:06 AM |
Damn. That's a lot of baseball tickets. Huh....

Close your eyes for a minute. Now. Let's pretend that Ruth Bader Ginsburg or Sonja Sotomajor went to President Obama and told him she was going to retire and she wanted her former law clerk to take her seat. And let's suppose that Ginsburg/Sonja's son was an official with a bank well known for international money laundering, fined for it, and he loaned Obama $2 billion for vague business interests, development deals etc. And let's suppose that Schumer knew about it and supported it? What would be the public and political reaction?

Brett has some explaining to do. I expect more stories about this fucker to leak.

A lot of people have credit card debts. This attack seem very partisan and petty.

Sure, Mitch.

R8, it shows questionable judgment. The job requires superb judgment.
This is the best paragraph:
His past financial disclosure forms reveal that Kavanaugh has incurred significant credit card debt on and off for more than a decade. He previously reported between $60,000 to $200,000 in debt among three credit cards and a loan in 2006, the same year he was confirmed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

This asshole is too irresponsible to control his personal spending and he is supposed to be qualified to be a Supreme Court justice? Only in Pig Face Trump's America.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 12, 2018 12:48 PM |
He ugly.

What business is it of yours. Though I can guess you were too cheap to spend 25c on a condom and now demand the government pay thousands gorgeous you AIDS meds.

In America we end questions with question marks.

"Thousands gorgeous you AIDS meds"?

We don't need an even more anti-union Supreme Court.

He’s going to be confirmed

I am forced to agree. I hate Kavanaugh, he is a right-wing partisan hack that will be terrible for the American concepts I believe in...but attacking him over his credit card debt? It's just petty.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 12, 2018 2:26 PM |
How come they where convienently payed off when he started to get considered for SCOTUS during Trump? I don't mind him having known debts, but if they're payed off by others it should raise questions.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 12, 2018 2:29 PM |
It's not petty to note and QUESTION (not "attack") an unusually large amount of credit card debt incurred by a Supreme Court candidate. It indicates a potential serious issue with his fitness.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 12, 2018 2:30 PM |
This is a sign that the Democrats intend a relentless campaign against him. It's the first volley. They are throwing everything at him.

[quote]Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh lauded late Chief Justice Rehnquist for dissenting in Roe vs. Wade and supporting school prayer
Let's focus on the important things here!

He's too fat.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 12, 2018 3:41 PM |
Yeah? And his dick is too small. So what. We are stuck with him.
Vote people. Its the only civil way out of this.

[quote]but attacking him over his credit card debt? It's just petty.
It's not just about the credit card debt, which shows very bad judgment; it is about how it was all mysteriously paid off last year.
He didn't change jobs.
Where did the money come from.
Pay attention.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 12, 2018 4:56 PM |
Inbred butterface.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 12, 2018 5:12 PM |
Exactly what r27 said. It’s not the debt. It’s the mysterious payoff.
This dude is too stupid to even cover his tracks.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 12, 2018 5:27 PM |
He, like Roberts, has uber-gayface.
What say thee?

by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 13, 2018 2:51 PM |
About that payoff.....
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 14, 2018 4:26 PM |
The laughable part is are these "experts" who suspect that Collins, Murkowski, and now Paul are going to vote against Kavanaugh. All 3 are twats and voting for anything Cheetos tells them to.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 16, 2018 1:22 AM |
r20 no way. These are appointments FOR LIFE. Every cell and ounce of him should be inspected and up for commentary and detail. This isn't a short term position that he can be voted out of. His health records, tax records, his wife's health and tax records, their children, dog, cat, next door Lesbian neighbor who thinks they're all cunts, they should all be inspected. His phones should be reviewed going back a decade to see who he's made contact with. For this lifetime appointment, there should be no privacy rights.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 16, 2018 1:37 AM |
I just felt like bumping this....
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 17, 2018 10:47 PM |
Good, r37. This will get buried under “can you believe what he SAID?!”
Of course, the New World Order will probably dismantle the Supreme Court anyway, so...
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 17, 2018 11:06 PM |
I'm very interested to know if Kennedy was subject to threats and/ or blackmail because of participation in his son's shady dealings at DeutscheBank. Or, was Kennedy paid off?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 18, 2018 12:21 AM |
We need to find out, r39...,.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 18, 2018 4:17 PM |
Are you kidding me? Credit card debt implies a character susceptible to bribery or financial hanky panky. Employers are now checking the credit scores of job seekers to see if they're "dependable." And we can't ask these questions of a supreme court justice nominee? WTF is congress doing all day?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 18, 2018 4:44 PM |
What DOES congress do all day? Sure beats working.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 18, 2018 4:50 PM |
A mani, r42.....
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 19, 2018 5:56 PM |
So, is there ANY investigation into where that money magically appeared from?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 21, 2018 2:03 PM |
Who the hell buys tickets worth a fourth of their salary for friends? Then the friends didn't pay you back for months? What type of shady situation is that? There is more to this story because it doesn't make sense to hold the debt for that long. Of course Trump would find someone with a financially reckless past to fill that seat. Helps him gain sympathy when his financial crimes are brought before the court.

by Anonymous | reply 47 | September 16, 2018 1:51 AM |
None of those credit cards could get him a better haircut?
by Anonymous | reply 48 | September 16, 2018 1:56 AM |
Political and partisan and dirty politics aside, I do love when the media digs up extravagant spending habits for those we assume, on govt salaries, don't have this kind of cash to blow.
Its akin to gay fabulous spending, frau wasteful purchases to impress other fraus, and of course the gold standard, ghetto purchases which are in a league of their own!
Vive le credit!

by Anonymous | reply 53 | September 16, 2018 11:43 AM |
Because he's going to be a reliable, radical conservative vote. His actual legal skills don't matter, nor do his finances or his personal failings. As long as he's willing to screw individuals, minorities, women, gays, non-Christians, etc., they want him and will do anything to put him on the court.
