My favorite by far was the minor character of Evelyn Napier played by Brendan Patricks. He's good looking in real life too. He's a magician.
Who was/were the most attractive guy/guys on Downton Abbey?

a threesome with branson and thomas would be heaven
by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 10, 2018 8:08 PM |
indeed. if he had spent the night with thomas, the boy might have lived
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 10, 2018 8:14 PM |
Branson aka Allen Leech definitely. It's such a shame he and Thomas didn't end up together *sigh*

I'd agree with Theo James and poor Mr. Pamuk.
Otherwise I don't know who to name. The guy who played Evil Footman, Rob James-Collier, never did anything for me. Dan Stevens, who played Matthew Crawley, and Allan Leech who played Tom Branson, COULD have been really hot (and Stevens was hot both before and after Downton Abbey), but on the show they were both plump.

Thomas, without question.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 10, 2018 8:21 PM |
Hugh Bonneville

Barrow, Bates, and Branson in that order.

Branson was on the HBO drama ROME. There's a scene after he has sex you see him taking a shower. I'm not sure but they might have shown his ass.

Rob James-Collier is indeed gorgeous. Sadly he's sad that playing gay on DA has to this point done a number on his career. And not in a good way.

The peasant who takes care of Lady Edith's baby. The husband NOT the wife. His name was Drew. He was hot.

Yes R10 I had forgotten him. Don't recall his name either. Still had a thing for Bates though, though he may not qualify as "most attractive".

Lord Gillingham, had he been able to portray the real man
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 10, 2018 8:35 PM |
Larry Grey the cad who spikes Branson's drink at a dinner party.

Julian Overdon (?), seen briefly as a suitor for Lady Mary. Better known as the RAF son on Foyle's War. Also the guy she ended up marrying who was also on The Good Wife.

Tom Cullen shows cock, or at least parts of it, in Weekend. One of the best gay films ever made. Cullen was way more charming in Weekend than he ever was in Downton Abbey.

More Tom Cullen in Weekend. For those who want to see him with a man. Too bad Allen Leech hasn't done the same, or has he?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 10, 2018 8:45 PM |
Yes I know, r20.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 10, 2018 8:50 PM |
Rob was really good in Ritual. If you get the chance watch the film!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 10, 2018 8:55 PM |
Bonneville has a nice BEEFY ass.

Will agree with R13 about the farmer (not peasant) who took in what's-her-name's baby. Pics of him in other things show an awesome hairy chest.

R26/R29 Do you fancy the TV journalist Scott Pelley? He reminds me of a younger fitter version of Bonneville.

(34)-OP here. Finally someone besides me appreciating Brendan Patricks good looks.

r35 just ruined the thread.

Speelers reminds me of Jamie Oliver.

Another vote for Hugh Bonneville. He did nothing for me when he was younger, I found him too nebbish. But he's aged very nicely. For some reason, the rumor that he asked a hooker to use a strap-on (or was it a dildo?) on him really got me all hot and bothered.
Beefy Allen Leech also rocked my boat. I actually saw him in person at the TIFF premiere of "The Imitation Game" and he looked FINE.
Also, what was the name of the actor who played the hot farmer who took in Lady Edith's child?

[quote]Ed Speleers is pretty hot
I still remember how they tried to start a mega franchise à la Harry Potter with him in the lead in Eragon but the film didn't do too well. There were pics of Speleers working at a construction site after his Hollywood career was pretty much destroyed. The budget was $100M and global B.O. was $250M (domestic $75M) so not a total flop, and they possibly broke even. That said according to IMDb Eragon was Speleers' first role in anything so he possibly didn't take it too hard. Even though I'm not exactly a fan it was still nice to see him in Downton Abbey.
