As in "women's voices, POC voices, WOC voices, queer voices."

It's such a hedge. Please say what you mean -- "Women's opinions." Or better yet, just "women."

Not "We need to hear more women's voices" but "We need to hear from more women."

"Clinician" - meaning psychologist, therapist, or counselor. When they use the word about themselves, it just sounds so pompous.

Journey. Instead of life. "Her journey was plagued with setbacks"

And yes OP, "narrative" wins the prize. I fucking hate hearing it from the mouths of two bit actors, especially. That's the first vocabulary word they learn when they land at LAX to start their "journeys".

I have complained about this elsewhere on DL, but the word "space."

It's problematic that women's voices are not allowed a space in which to initiate a conversation regarding the narrative of their journey.

"Socializing". I've been seeing that used by a project manager (barf) in my department lately, using it to mean sharing data with people and getting their feedback...I think.

Does the average POC or WOCs actually like being called POC and WOC ? POC sounds like a disease and WOC like an Asian kitchen accessory .
