Any other fans on DL? Of the show or the bros who run it? It's a politics podcast mostly aimed at millennials. It's become pretty big. Jon Lovett, second from the left is gay.
Listen to both episodes a week, but usually cut out of the interviews. I also listen to Blabbermouth from Seattle and the Brit Somers Show from Florida.

Jon speaks too fast for me and he's too broey for my liking; I'm not that kind of gay. Also, I use my podcasts to distract me from the horrors of the current regime, so I don't listen to politics podcasts. I do hope he manages to motivate the Millennials to vote, though.

That short, dour-looking schlub is with Ronan Farrow? He looks a little like Jonah Hill.

Am a millennial and I love it. I also skip a lot of the interviews though. Very chill hosts and good liberal people.

I want Jon and Tommy to spit-roast me all night.

love their podcast. when i first started listening i thought they were all gay. just meto i later find out.

Why did you think they are gay?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 24, 2018 6:34 PM |
They all speak with effeminate mannerisms. Maybe Jon's influence? It was way more pronounced on an episode they had with Tom Miller. Another gay guy.

Fantastic shows.

Pod Save the World with Tommy is my favorite. I actually learn the most from it. And the guests are knowledgeable former diplomats instead of regular politicians.
Also Tommy is adorable

I'm with R3 - too bro-ey. Bros are an instant turn off for me.
And do they really cater to Millennials? They seem to be way more center-left (a la Obama) than progressive-left. Sam Seder and Michael Brooks seem to have nothing but disdain for them.

R13 51-year-old Sam Seder isn't representative of Millennial opinions.
Are you all sure you know which Jon you're talking about? Because Jon Lovett has gay voice for days. I wouldn't call him bro-ey by any measure.

They are calling Jon Favreau bro-ey. Not Lovett. And Favreau is very bro like. Most of my liberal political coworkers around my age listen to it. Not the very far left ones though
