A friend of mine's mother won one of those contests once: $2000 worth of free stuff from the local supermarket chain.
The machine spit one out automatically last night when I went to see a movie at an AMC theatre. I always get them. My two friends I went with never get them. Does it have something to do with the credit card I pay with?

I took one of those surveys for our supermarket and they called me and said there is a $5 gift card waiting for me next time I go. Not life-changing money but I'll take it.

I usually don't do them except for the time I was going to Boston Market regularly. If you do their survey you automatically got 10 or 15% off on your next visit if you write in the code. I usually completely forget about the other ones. Also I've never even looked at those coupons they give you at places like Walgreens. For some reason they make it very lightly colored too almost as if they don't want you to notice.

I fill them out for McDonalds all the time to get free burgers or Mcnuggetts. They make me eat there more because I feel pressured to use them before they are expired.

I'm more irritated by requests to give to children with cancer or some other charity in places like WF where the fucking owner makes more in a day than most will make in a lifetime.

I've never taken one where you win. The bagel shop near me occasionally has a survey on the receipt. If you go online and take the survey you get a coupon for three free bagels.

No one has every "won" anything taking a survey because they never have an actual prize/drawing. It's just fake bullshit to get people to "enter".
