Celebrities are energy sucks. Being transgender could be a way to capture a bit of energy and attention as a kid, when the parent is a narcissist. The kids learn to act out and make things out of things that aren't things. I don't like that I am suspicious that 2 lesbians raising a girl who needs to "become a man" is a kind of failure. Sorry but that's what I feel, not knowing the real story. Maybe its a lovely story but I am suspicious it is not.

I went to college with some kids of celebrities. They tended to be a bit lost and looking for attention. Fewer boundaries, less sense of self. I think a celebrity parent has a way of sucking up all the energy in the room, so the kids don't have an easy time knowing who they are separate from being a star's kid.

In my day, they took drugs and slept around. Now I think they try on identities.
