He's got no "wealth" to leave, unless he's been running a string of child hos or importing drugs in his last years. It’s MUCH harder to not only hoist the casket onto your shoulders, but walk with an extremely heavy casket on your shoulders while keeping your hands in front of you, especially down or up steps, without fear it will slide off your shoulders. Plus, each person has to be in step with the other. One false turn by the lead guys and...oops.

Most “professional” funerals (forgive the expression) such as police officers, military personnel and the like, are done by highly trained ceremonial units to make it look easy. When you see what those guys in that unit go through, you’d see it’s much easier to walk with the casket like a piece of luggage.

You know, they could save a lot of money if they time the funeral ceremony with the arrival of the garbage truck. As a bonus no coffin needed, just a big enough garbage bag.
