Of course he was. Teachers are required to take attendance. If he were absent, school records would have shown his absence. Plus, you have his teachers and fellow students with him at school who attest to his presence.

Hogg and David Muir were eye fucking during their "live" interview on GMA Tuesday morning. Muir commented that Hogg had better hair than him, which is so not true.

People should just stick to the facts, that he's a rich white kid that is using his privilege to score self promotion. No black students fighting for school safety are invited to the Tonight Show.

He's using his white privilege to bring attention to issues affecting people of color. He's explicitly acknowledged that.

Is the word "hog" no longer used as a slang word for penis? There was a student named Harvey Hogg in my grammar school and he was teased regularly about his last name.

Ok, watched the video . He EXPLICITLY says “On the day of the shooting, I got my camera, rode my bike 3 miles to school as fast as I can to get footage”.

The "3 miles to" school bit was noticed at the time. I took it to mean he was cutting class.

On GMA with Muir, he stated that he went home from school to check on his family, grabbed his bike and went to where the media had set up their post and began spouting his anti-NRA message on camera. GMA aired footage of him taken at the school seemingly while the shooting had still not ended.
