Lauer Will remain completely unemployable by any major corporations. The problem with someone like him is that he had such a long history of what is now seen as completely unacceptable behavior that any company that hires him is not only going to be the subject of protests based on what we know, but is also at risk of inspiring others to come forward and share their stories that have not yet been reported. We just saw this happen with Charlie Rose.

In addition, Matt Lauer has no specific talent. If he’s smart, and he’s probably doing it already, he’ll stay away from public life and use whatever money is leftover from his divorce and live the rest of his life investing and managing. He’ll stay in NYC and the Hamptons because clearly that’s the lifestyle he likes.
