the running joke of Bill Paxton/Pullman.
Of the top of my head (without googling): The guy from that Millers film with Aniston and the guy of that Melissa McCarthy identity thief film.
Another example is Dylan Minette and the Percy Jackson actor.

Bill Pullman/ Jeff Daniels to me more than Bill Pullman / Bill Paxton. I’m a big fan of Bill Paxton’s early work & Pullman/Daniels look more alike.

Valerie Mahaffey and Julie Hagerty own this thread. In fact, the failed Delta Burke CBS sitcom, Women of the House, did just that. Both actresses played the same character, and you never knew which one was gonna appear in any given episode.

For me:
Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton
Jeff Daniels and Jeff Bridges (they don't look alike, but I could never remember which Jeff they were were)
Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman (Knightley was so similar to Portman she played Padme's double in The Phantom Menace). If both actresses were more popular and younger, I probably would've confused one or the other for Daisy Ridley, too.
Back when they first started out, Meryl Streep and Glenn Close, because they both starred in similar Oscar bait and played similar roles
Jon Cryer and Matthew Broderick
Richard Herd and Karl Malden. It took me weeks to figure out that it wasn't Karl Malden on Seinfeld.

Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman had similar sounding names, but i don’t think they particularly looked alike, beyond being white guys with brown hair, and they sounded completely different. Paxton’s voice was quite distinctive.
