well he is back with Brockman as of 8/2019. I think Tovey could do way way better. I dont find Brockman attractive in the least but t I guess he is Tovey s type. That is surprising because in interveiws I have read Russell is into very very vanilla sex and is a one man man and believes in monogomy. Whether that is just some press agents made up response I dont know. If it is true, he is barking up the wrong tree with Brockman. Tovey did end up in therapy after his initial breakup with Brockman.

My take on Tovey is he is very very bright, a good actor, and very ambitious. His comments about masculinity dont bother me. He had a tough childhood with his father wanting him to have hormone shots when he learned Russell was gay and then when he was 18 he was badly knifed in the face on a train in the London area. It was just thugs that did it for no apparent reason. It was not a robbery or a gay bashing etc. Tovey says he suffers PTS syndrome to this day and occasionally loses his balance when he walks when he flash backs on the event. I think it would be great to cut Russell Tovey a little slack.
