I would’ve been okay with Miles character in Parenthood as bi honestly (the storyline with Amy was really well done and their relationship was more believable under the guise of teenage awkwardness), but I definitely always felt like I was waiting for him to come out. There was more of a vibe with college Drew and Amber’s guy/Matt Lauria than there was with him and the girl they put him with though. By that time they really should’ve at least mentioned him hooking up with both. Miles always had more sexual tension with the guys. I don't have anything in principle against the idea that Miles might have been fluid/poly/bi/experimental/whatever a few years ago, it's just that I don't see any evidence to support the idea. Pretty much all of the pics that Miles posted during the filming period were of himself at his home in LA even though he was filming in SF during that same time. Presumably, he flew back and forth and spent the weekends of non-filming days at home.

He really doesn't give anything away on his own Instagram, though. Looking at his posts over the past 2 months, every one of them is just a close-up of his face, which is just fine, of course, but he's not actually doing anything or going anywhere (aside from the new gym pic) or with anyone apart from his puppy. R539 Oddly, although Miles actually went into therapy for anxiety and depression (the therapy turned his life around, he says) he was actually home-schooled, I guess because he was actually a working child-actor at the time, so that would have been the only practical solution.

He has also said, though, that he was generally treated as "the weird kid" by everyone when he was in his early teens, and he is clearly acutely introverted which is extremely unusual for an actor, to say the least!
