Poor Colton! At least he made it to Paris for the TW reunion. I am surprised because he’s such an emotional wreck and I feel really bad for him. I don’t think he even has a home in LA now because that house is Jeff’s so it seems like Colton is going from place to place until he goes to Vancouver for the summer to shoot Arrow. Jeff did not cheat on Colton and was completely blindsided like that other poster said and Colton was the one who was going to gay bars without his rings and telling people he was single because Jeff was always out of town working. He lead Jeff on to believe he was ready for marriage and kids, etc which wasn’t true at all. The age difference didn’t help either because Jeff didn’t realize how immature Colton really was. Several of Colton’s relative’s have been reaching out to Jeff and he finally started following Clinton again but from what I understand he’s done with Colton’s drama and I really don’t know what’s going to happen to Colton now but some counseling would probably benefit him greatly at this point. Jeff’s getting ready to open another shop on the East coast too which probably contributed to the divorce because they were always apart and Colton is high maintenance and needs constant emotional support and attention so that marriage never would have worked!!! Jeff’s a complete workaholic and Colton likes to play around but work not so much!!!

Jeff was not cheating and neither was Colton as far as I know but Colton did go to a couple of gay bars without his wedding rings claiming he was single. Nobody believed him and knew he was pissed off and lashing out at Jeff because once again Jeff had left Colton alone and was working all over the country like China, Switzerland, Ireland, etc. and Colton had just lost his mom and needed Jeff desperately. The big displays and everything Jeff sent to Colton while he was gone didn’t mean shit because he wanted and needed Jeff’s presence both emotionally and physically and Jeff didn’t take it that serious I guess and Colton went totally sideways while Jeff was gone packed up and moved out and filed for divorce completely blindsiding Jeff but by that time it was too late and there was nothing Jeff could do so he just filed his response and his own petition for divorce and walked away. I don’t know Colton (143) but some of Colton’s friends have a tendency to talk way too much about stuff they shouldn’t be talking about and in places that are far too public and when I heard about what was happening with Jeff and Colton and saw Colton’s erratic and strange behavior on social media like deleting pictures of Jeff and then putting them back again, posting pictures of he and Jeff missing him and begging him to come home and leaving comments on Jeff’s pictures begging him to come home and then deleting them and deleting the Leatham out of his bio and then putting it back again it all made sense to me and it was clear that Colton was struggling and hurting so badly and Jeff didn’t seem to be acknowledging him or taking him serious at all. He kept doing stuff like that on and off for about a month or more and it was just so incredibly sad and I have no idea why Jeff was so oblivious to what was going on but he seems to be very focused on his business which is kind of understandable considering he is the business but when you have a brand new husband and marriage you need to make that a priority obviously and I guess Jeff didn’t and Colton did crazy things to get his attention so it was just a huge mess. They were supposed to go on a honeymoon and then Colton ended up in Hawaii by himself instead but that wasn’t really Jeff’s fault because at that time we were having wildfires here that were out of control and their ouse was in the fire path so Jeff had to come back here instead of going and joining Colton in Hawaii. That obviously was a huge part of the problem was the fact they were never together and they were so cute together and Colton seemed so happy but I think when he lost his mom is when he realized it wasn’t going to work between he and Jeff. That part I don’t know I’m just speculating but Colton obviously kept trying because his mom passed in March and Colton didn’t file for divorce until May but Jeff was gone for like a month at that time so I can’t really blame Colton and I’m not sure because I haven’t heard anything yet but it looks like Jeff may be trying to make amends and fix things with Colton but I doubt very seriously that it will work but you never know. That house they’re in right now Jeff and Colton bought back in February of last year. I’m not sure if Colton kept the other house he was in before he and Jeff moved into their new house but I doubt it. There were pictures that they posted about their new house back when they bought it but they’ve all been deleted now. Jeff is still living in that house currently but I’m not sure about Colton considering he just got back from Vancouver and it looks like Jeff may have gone out to see Colton for his birthday which doesn’t surprise me at all because I think he’s been trying to fix things with Colton for awhile now and he was seen at the airport arriving with Colton but apparently didn’t want to answer questions or be papped which who can blame him. I never realized Colton wore earrings before but this weekend he was wearing a really pretty diamond stud earring but it looked like it was only in one ear. A positive or negative personality tendency is set pretty early in life. It can be tough to change a negative outlook but if you are aware of it, you can work on it. Jeff does seem very positive in all of his SM and that is probably just his way. I hope Jeff and Colton can stick it out.

He lost his father to suicide. He moved in with his sister subsequrntly. He was estranged from his mother for long periods and she died of liver failure not long after they reconciled. He's been through it. I expect that he has huge abandonment issues. He may work on them but he may never be self sufficient enough to cope well without "the one" to hold him at night, every night.

Michelle Pfeiffer gave up far flung acting gigs (any that would take her away from home for more than two weeks) when she got married. She raised a family and she's still married to the same man.

Colton didn't talk at length publicly about Jeff around the time of the split. What he did was put out that song about Podwall, which lots of people thought was about Jeff. That was truly shitty. Well looks like Colton isn’t in AZ anymore and that’s the backyard of the house he lives in with Jeff so I hope they’re working on their relationship. I agree with (275) and I think it does take about 6 months to get a divorce in California and with all the things they have between them probably even longer than that. Colton seems like he’s okay again although trying not to show the actual full backyard of the house and only the side view which is interesting. Keeping positive thoughts for those guys. Honey, if you are filing for divorce, a dramatic and serious action in a relationship, after just 6 months, then that means trying to make things work is futile. So out of curiosity I did some research and Colton and Jeff are not legally divorced. They only filed for divorce but California is the one state where it takes 6 months from the date you actually serve your partner with divorce papers and not from the date you file for divorce so they won’t be divorced until around November if they actually go through with it. Apparently California wants to be able to give the parties filing for divorce a chance to change their minds and work things out so hopefully Colton and Jeff will be able to fix things before that 6 month period ends!!

I think the diamond earring is one of Jeff’s because he wears diamond stud earrings all the time but he wears them on both ears whereas Colton only seems to wear one. It matches the diamond cross he’s wearing too and that looks identical to the one Jeff was wearing in Hawaii a few weeks ago. So what now he’s trying to match his husband? Although I think the cross may have come from Jeff for his Birthday because he wasn’t wearing it at HATM in Paris and it seemed to show up for the first time at ComicCon after he got back from Vancouver.
