r520 I think the 'Wang$ap' album is going to be released this year, Tyler always denies stuff that comes out later, he did it with Flower Boy too, and probably an album of his own by next year if he continues the 2 years gap between albums he did until now. And if he keeps releasing music like he's doing with the 'loosies' or collabs, it'll keep him on everyone's radar, since every time he releases a song media writes articles, people on Youtube posts reactions and he seems to be on top of /hiphopheads every other day lately.

r526 You can't dictate what people like or not or understand why they do it, I don't think there's any hidden agenda on /hhh either. The fact is Tyler's not only a rapper, he had TV shows, a clothing brand, plus he's really charismatic and funny, some people even know him from his 'iconic' tweets.

He's also really different from the mainstream out there- even more when he just appeared on the scene- that made a lot of people relate to him, the 'outcasts', the black skater type kids, the edgy teens who loved his music because it expressed what they felt (Kill people, burn shit, fuck school), etc. And with the change in Flower Boy and his coming out he gained even more and other kind of fans too. And with the added fact that he's a very prolific artist is not surprising that he's getting more and more popular.

R520 i doubt he's getting on Kanye's league anytime soon but we do have to remember he was only 26 when he dropped Flower Boy, that's the same age Kanye was when he dropped College Dropout. he has time!
