The West Wing (TV Series, 1999-2006)

I've been rewatching "The West Wing" the past few weeks. Other than continuing to be amazed by the writing and the cast's extraordinary performances, I'm also surprised by just how much hasn't changed in politics. It's incredible how many issues, talking points, political ideas, and controversies we're facing today were dramatized in some way during this show. I guess politics really don't ever change... only the people do.

Anyone else have unconditional love for this show? (Or at least for its first four seasons?)

A great quote from Amy Gardner (Mary-Louise Parker's character) that fits right in today: "It's really something. Every two years we get to overthrow the government."
