He was on Dallas and was paired with Linda Gray, one of the worst night time soap pairings of all time. The best scene in "Night in Heaven" is when Robert Logan gets Atkins onto a boat and hearing him sob like a little girl. I saw Christopher Atkins many times naked at nude Black’s Beach in San Diego in the ‘90s and early 2000s. He always sat in the straight section of the beach. He was usually with his wife and little daughter at the time, but not always; sometimes with a friend. He played volleyball often. Most people who sat nearby or played volleyball knew who he was but were not fan girls and just left him alone. I’m gay, and I would take a long walk from the gay section to the straight section of the beach and stop sometimes to watch the volleyball game as did other people also taking walks.
