It's surprisingly tasteful. I would buy it.

nice view, nice windows... but no closet?? and the bathroom is so small....

It was in the same building that Bowie lived in so that upped the price.

these are former sweat shops, so all the walls are later-built, probably a hidden closet?

Nice place to hang her Dunst hat.

It looks like a great place for a young, single person. Agree with r2, the view and windows are great.
A man with a family bought it?

Love the style of the kitchen. Personally, I'd get rid of the tub and use the space for a sink and some more storage.

The Damon Butt. The Dunst Loft.

It’s great, I’d have it in a second.

Dunst's place looks better than Lenny Kravitz's. And Lenny is supposedly a "designer".

R6, he probably bought it for his kids' future. or as an investment. Don't rich people with kids move to Connecticut?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 29, 2018 10:24 PM |
Gwyneth's kids lived in the GOOP loft.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 29, 2018 10:29 PM |
Hipsterish but totally unpretentious.

Dunst has always been pretty chill lady, and her apartment reflects that. I'd live there, but I don't think I could even afford her bathtub. Also really like the bookshelf.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 29, 2018 10:38 PM |
Sigh. Just knock off a digit off that sale price and I'd be there!
(No, I don't live in New York).

A wealthy elder sister used to own the building. She would sneak hot men into the back room and let them have their way with her. When she died of cancer (not Aids), we inherited a small diamond cockring.

I imagine that view would be gorgeous during the winter, especially if it was snowing.

How much is the monthly maintenance fee on that place?

[quote] The Damon Butt. The Dunst Loft.
Which one is more voluminous?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 29, 2018 11:51 PM |
Love it. Love everything but the smallish kitchen sink, but easy to fix.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 6, 2018 1:19 AM |
It's very 80s/90s, but I love exposed brick.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 6, 2018 1:21 AM |
How much will the new owner flip it for?
Nice place though.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 6, 2018 1:22 AM |
I kind of love it. It feels sort of old English modern. A little dark but warm and homey. Fireplace?

R3 - Bowie lived on Lafayette St., the article says Kirsten's is on Canal. Who the hell wants to live on Canal St. with all that traffic?

The picture leaning against the wall under the window of a girl was used on the Dinosaur Jr. "Green Mind" cover.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 6, 2018 2:14 AM |
Not into it.
