It's surprisingly tasteful. I would buy it.

nice view, nice windows... but no closet?? and the bathroom is so small....

by Anonymousreply 2May 29, 2018 8:44 PM

It was in the same building that Bowie lived in so that upped the price.

by Anonymousreply 3May 29, 2018 8:57 PM

these are former sweat shops, so all the walls are later-built, probably a hidden closet?

by Anonymousreply 4May 29, 2018 8:59 PM

Nice place to hang her Dunst hat.

by Anonymousreply 5May 29, 2018 9:01 PM

It looks like a great place for a young, single person. Agree with r2, the view and windows are great.

A man with a family bought it?

by Anonymousreply 6May 29, 2018 9:04 PM

Love the style of the kitchen. Personally, I'd get rid of the tub and use the space for a sink and some more storage.

by Anonymousreply 7May 29, 2018 9:07 PM

The Damon Butt. The Dunst Loft.

by Anonymousreply 8May 29, 2018 9:48 PM

It’s great, I’d have it in a second.

by Anonymousreply 9May 29, 2018 9:55 PM

Dunst's place looks better than Lenny Kravitz's. And Lenny is supposedly a "designer".

R6, he probably bought it for his kids' future. or as an investment. Don't rich people with kids move to Connecticut?

by Anonymousreply 11May 29, 2018 10:24 PM

Gwyneth's kids lived in the GOOP loft.

by Anonymousreply 12May 29, 2018 10:29 PM

Hipsterish but totally unpretentious.

by Anonymousreply 13May 29, 2018 10:30 PM

Dunst has always been pretty chill lady, and her apartment reflects that. I'd live there, but I don't think I could even afford her bathtub. Also really like the bookshelf.

by Anonymousreply 14May 29, 2018 10:38 PM

Sigh. Just knock off a digit off that sale price and I'd be there!

(No, I don't live in New York).

by Anonymousreply 15May 29, 2018 10:47 PM

A wealthy elder sister used to own the building. She would sneak hot men into the back room and let them have their way with her. When she died of cancer (not Aids), we inherited a small diamond cockring.

I imagine that view would be gorgeous during the winter, especially if it was snowing.

by Anonymousreply 17May 29, 2018 11:23 PM

How much is the monthly maintenance fee on that place?

by Anonymousreply 18May 29, 2018 11:42 PM

[quote] The Damon Butt. The Dunst Loft.

Which one is more voluminous?

by Anonymousreply 19May 29, 2018 11:51 PM

Love it. Love everything but the smallish kitchen sink, but easy to fix.

by Anonymousreply 20June 6, 2018 1:19 AM

It's very 80s/90s, but I love exposed brick.

by Anonymousreply 21June 6, 2018 1:21 AM

How much will the new owner flip it for?

Nice place though.

by Anonymousreply 22June 6, 2018 1:22 AM

I kind of love it. It feels sort of old English modern. A little dark but warm and homey. Fireplace?

by Anonymousreply 23June 6, 2018 1:24 AM

R3 - Bowie lived on Lafayette St., the article says Kirsten's is on Canal. Who the hell wants to live on Canal St. with all that traffic?

by Anonymousreply 24June 6, 2018 1:28 AM

The picture leaning against the wall under the window of a girl was used on the Dinosaur Jr. "Green Mind" cover.

by Anonymousreply 25June 6, 2018 2:14 AM

Not into it.
