Takes me a long time to get over a guy - Taurus
Things you dislike about your zodiac sign?
by Anonymous | reply 347 | February 11, 2019 10:43 PM |
OP, is that really a Taurus thing? I'm a Taurus and the same way.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 29, 2018 1:03 AM |
I'm a Cancer. They hold onto grudges and seek revenge. I wish I could be more forgiving but I don't know how. No matter how much revenge I get it's never enough.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 29, 2018 1:03 AM |
I think it is, R2. It’s tough to move on for me. I do ultimately, but I never impose. No means no. But, I remain sexless too diuring my “mourning” phase. I try to hook up and want to, but ultimately chicken out. I feel guilty abd like I’m cheating. Are you the same way there too?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 29, 2018 1:06 AM |
The good thing about my sun sign is that, according to the FBI, Aquarians ranks as the second most innocent, much less likely to commit crimes due to their social conscience but make up a large portion of the psychiatric hospital population.
People who share my moon sign, Cancers, are more likely to be "passion killers" and leave their mark on their victims.
My ascendant, Scorpio, indicates that I am more likely to be a contract killer but, on the upside, less sadistic than a Capricorn.
So, to answer your question having the sun in Aquarius (January 31st) seems to be the best thing I have going on in an Astrological sense.
(Is sun in Aquarius, moon in Cancer with Scorpio rising considered a crappy mix? I've never had a lot to brag about on the success or personal happiness front.)
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 29, 2018 1:12 AM |
Things I dislike about ALL signs:
Capricorn-Gets hurt too easy & very possessive, then turn cold quickly.
Aquarius-extremely selfish & cold, until you spend months & years to win them over and even then they'll also go to the end of the earth for revenge.
Pisces-too needy and very sly "Did I do that?" Backstabbers, but they're essentially just huge Gossips.
Aries-Selfish and try to guard themselves by being overly superficial.
Taurus-Judgmental and the men are abusive in some form.
Gemini-Flaky, dumb and almost always bisexual. Big egos & dicks (except Trump-the big dick part).
Cancer-Cunts, the men & women. You better be blood or you never really win them over. They love to feel like everyone is their burden.
Leo-The BIGGEST FUCKING egomaniacs on the Planet! They are deceptive, manipulative and borderline or complete sociopaths. Avoid!
Virgo-Gets hurt too easy and have insanely high standards, but they'll keep coming back for the pain.
Libra-Fake as fuck and can't keep their dicks in their pants. Sociopathic tendencies.
Scorpio-Sluts and also I would never cross one. They wouldn't just get revenge they'd ruin you and your entire immediate family's lives.
Sagittarius-Downlow Hoes and emotional messes.

R4 sounds like Leos are Serial Killers...
[quote]Leos tend to commit crimes for the sheer recognition of it; but, they don’t do petty crime
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 29, 2018 1:17 AM |
We are in Gemini season, meaning the two most extreme energies in the entire Zodiac will be on display.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 29, 2018 1:17 AM |
So who does that leave you with R5?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 29, 2018 1:20 AM |
Unfortunately for us, our derange president is a Gemini and his nastiness will be at full peak for the next month.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 29, 2018 1:20 AM |
I get abused.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 29, 2018 1:21 AM |
OP/R3, I don't feel guilty about hooking up while in "mourning" but I have chickened out a lot when trying to hook up. I've been one of those flakes people hate. I'm a lot better about not doing that now.
R10, OMG, I feel abused too. Not physically. But people around me seem to have no qualms about taking advantage of me and not giving a fuck how I feel about it.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 29, 2018 1:25 AM |
Yep, R11. I’m OP. We’re the same.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 29, 2018 1:28 AM |
Hugs, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 29, 2018 1:31 AM |
Is it possible for two stand-offish signs like Taurus and Virgo to hook up? Both need a long time to warm up to another person.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 29, 2018 1:32 AM |
I think the thing I dislike most about my zodiac sign is that there are idiots who think it is something real.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 29, 2018 1:33 AM |
R8 I'm cool with most everyone but Leos and Libras. I prefer Geminis, Pisces, Aries, Scorpios, Sagittarius and Virgos in that order for friends. For sex: Aries and Virgos. Virgos are crazy in bed, in a good way!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 29, 2018 1:33 AM |
Hugs back you R13. 😘
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 29, 2018 1:33 AM |
No one is good enough for us.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 29, 2018 1:36 AM |
R14 with alcohol anything is possible. They probably wouldn't go to breakfast the next morning though and they probably wouldn't spark in the first place.
I used to have a job were you'd see birthdays of couples applying for apartments, majority of the time the signs were complementary and when they weren't you could see the bad chemistry.
R15 drop dead
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 29, 2018 1:37 AM |
As a Virgo I wish I had an easygoing attitude toward people; I expect too much from others.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 29, 2018 1:37 AM |
Aries: impulsivity, indecisive, passionate.. about the wrong things (people). I am also that Taurus trait who it takes me forever to get over someone if I had real feelings.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 29, 2018 1:38 AM |
R20 see R5
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 29, 2018 1:38 AM |
But they're supposed to be very compatible, R19
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 29, 2018 1:39 AM |
[quote]it takes me forever to get over someone if I had real feelings.
That's not an astro sign thing.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 29, 2018 1:40 AM |
Taurus and Virgos are excellent matches.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 29, 2018 1:41 AM |
I'm a Scorpio. We get a bad rap. Yes, I think about sex too much. I had already read 'Linda Goodman's Sun Signs' back when I was a teenager, so I had a certain level of awareness. I discovered that I had a propensity towards sadism. Just knowing that has prompted me to very, very carefully avoid calling up that demon. People can scoff at astrology all they want. But it can make us look very hard at ourselves, in a way few other ways can.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 29, 2018 1:43 AM |
It's 2018.
And some of you believe in astrology?
So ignorant and superstitious.
Why not examine the entrails of unblemished goats?

It’s hard dealing with all of you INFERIOR bitches - LEO
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 29, 2018 1:47 AM |
I'm a Cancer and and an uber one at that. We feel things most deeply of all signs and I've never heard anyone say cancers were cunts. Maybe too suffocating or passionate, but not mean/stand-off-ish/cunty like many other signs are (almost to a person). It is strange how I get along so well with other water signs and fall in love so easily with the same signs (all my exes are either Taurus or Scorpio). I've heard that in astrology that at 27 "Saturn returns" and that is when you start fulfilling your sign and its vestiges. I agree (I never read my horoscope until then, but once I started following it... it was quite surprising how accurate it was). I think in astrology certain signs are more predictable than others, so people who say astrology is BS are usually one of those signs.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 29, 2018 1:52 AM |
Saggie and an emotional mess. Will always cheat to exit a relationship.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 29, 2018 2:10 AM |
Cancers are pretty sweet. I told a cancer guy how much he meant to me through a letter and I think he reads the letter all the time to this day. It meant a lot to him.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 29, 2018 2:14 AM |
R25 they match according to most zodiac books etc., but they don't hit off right away. I don't believe it's good relationship, it works because Taurus are abusive and Virgos are gluttons for pain. So it works but in an unhealthy way.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 29, 2018 2:16 AM |
Can Saggies and Scorpios work?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 29, 2018 2:18 AM |
So, am I to understand that examining the entrails of an unblemished goat is "pseudo science" R27? Stuck-up know it all. Here goat-ee, goat-ee...c'mere, just for a sec'
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 29, 2018 2:19 AM |
LEO. King of the universe with an ego to match. I'm doing just fine - always have, always will.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 29, 2018 2:21 AM |
R34 if you are okay with both parties cheating all the time. Not a great match: Fire and Water elements: evaporates or extinguishes each other.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 29, 2018 2:22 AM |
R36 who did you fuck over or start a rumor about today?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 29, 2018 2:23 AM |
I'm a sagittarius and naive.
The cheating stuff is when we aren't with the right person or meet someone especially interesting. It wears off around 45 and then we're decent partners.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 29, 2018 2:28 AM |
I’m a cancer and I resent myself for it.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 29, 2018 2:34 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 29, 2018 2:35 AM |
Can two Geminis make a good couple?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 29, 2018 2:39 AM |
Capricorn shit I hate: Buying labels, thinking expensive is always better, but are cheap, whiny about work and then screw over their colleagues...I could go on.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 29, 2018 2:40 AM |
Two geminis might get each other.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 29, 2018 2:41 AM |
No matter what sign you are, you’re going to be mine you are.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 29, 2018 2:42 AM |
R42 and R45, they are supposed to be a good match. Check the FBI article posted near the top of the thread. Just so you know what you are in for should things REALLY go south between you and your fellow Gemini.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 29, 2018 2:43 AM |
R43 Capricorns have ice water running through their nasty veins.

The article says Gemini is the least likely to commit a criminal act. <3 I knew we were awesome!
[quote]Cancer are the most arrested criminals, which shows they are one of the more dangerous signs in the zodiac circle. After Cancer, Taurus is the ones that commit the most crimes.
Ewww, Cancers and Taurus are the scum of the Earth.

What answer, R51?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | May 29, 2018 2:57 AM |
Taurus here. Lazy and comfort seeking way too much but I can be hard working at times.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | May 29, 2018 3:02 AM |
Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Donald Trump, and I are all Geminis. The three of them seem to be hot messes at the best of times and godawful monsters all the remainder of the time. That I am sane and not in the tabloids or having tweetspats every 8 hours is a marvel for which I am very, very grateful. I owe the gift to being entirely unphotogenic.

I’m a triple Leo & the only thing I hate about my sign is they constantly say Leo’s are egotistical & attention seekers but I have poor self-esteem & hate to be the center of attention....& again my sun, moon and rising sign all Leo..idk
by Anonymous | reply 56 | May 29, 2018 3:17 AM |
R56 are you on a Virgo or Cancer cusp?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | May 29, 2018 3:20 AM |
R57 neither I think. August 1st birthday

R57 I forgot to mention I am a cancer mars & Virgo Venus though
by Anonymous | reply 59 | May 29, 2018 3:22 AM |
It's 2018. You really still believe this shit?
Do you ever wonder why no one sees UFO's anymore?
by Anonymous | reply 60 | May 29, 2018 3:22 AM |
I’m a Taurus sun and moon with Virgo rising.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | May 29, 2018 3:22 AM |
R59 there's your insecurity. Any childhood traumas made you insecure too? You should be able to tap into your Leo Ego.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | May 29, 2018 3:23 AM |
R60 Fuck Off! We don't bother you in your Meth Circuit Party threads.

Indecisiveness and Fair to a fault - sucks! But it is how I am wired.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | May 29, 2018 3:24 AM |
R64 are you a slut, who wants to make everyone think you're the "nice guy"?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | May 29, 2018 3:26 AM |
How do we now what is our cusp, and how does that relate to our Sun sign (main Zodiac sign)
by Anonymous | reply 66 | May 29, 2018 3:26 AM |
Hmm I dislike my need to be evasive. Scorpio.
Also I started this thread and was hoping someone would do a compatability for Meghan and HArry . For laughs of course but I think I failed to capture interest. A Gemini should have wrote that thread.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | May 29, 2018 3:29 AM |
R65: Nope. Very monogamous by nature. Only slept with 4 men at 48.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | May 29, 2018 3:32 AM |
R68 and the nice guy part?
by Anonymous | reply 69 | May 29, 2018 3:34 AM |
I'm Scorpio. I do not like that we are seen as the "slut" sign. Easy to get laid, it is finding a loyal partner that is difficult. Thinking of sex, being good at it, etc., does not mean those people are going out trying to hit every STD achievement available. Haha!
by Anonymous | reply 70 | May 29, 2018 3:39 AM |
The worst thing about being a Leo is being better at everything than everyone else. I can't trust anyone with anything because they always fuck up! So annoying!
by Anonymous | reply 71 | May 29, 2018 3:40 AM |
R69> You may be right there...I can turn on the fake charm and seem a lot nicer than I am (but find myself less willing to do that as I get older).

I'm a Taurus and I resemble the generalizations...
by Anonymous | reply 74 | May 29, 2018 3:45 AM |
R60 Did you know that every atom in your body used to be a star? I don't know about Astrology as a science, but who's to say there is absolutely nothing to it? Or that there is absolutely nothing to anything considered to be paranormal? Err on the side of skepticism but people are allowed to have something of an open mind.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | May 29, 2018 3:49 AM |
I don't understand the importance people place on a person's month of birth. What about twins born on the same day who are completely different from each other? It's all BS.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | May 29, 2018 3:51 AM |
I'm a Libra and incredibly indecisive. I see things from so many different angles there are too many options and I can get stuck in place. The Cancer Ascendant and Scorpio Moon ramp up the emotions. I feel guilty or angry that I can't make up my mind, which only compounds the problem. I find it a difficult combination to live with, an ongoing battle between the head and the heart.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | May 29, 2018 4:25 AM |
R77> So true!!!
by Anonymous | reply 78 | May 29, 2018 4:27 AM |
Astrology is only for the open minded. AND those willing to do the study. People who dont believe it have NEVER studied it.
Right R76? Right R60? Right R27?
Its real. Now be more "scientific" and research it before you denounce it.
THEN get back to us.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | May 29, 2018 4:30 AM |
R76 your houses move relatively quickly based off just a few minutes difference, so predictably they will still share a lot in common but there’s still some differences. Further, astrology is incredibly complex... there’s not just planets to account for but various asteroids as well. Ultimately one of these planetary bodies will hit a cusp or separate house and account for some minor difference. Honestly, why knock something you haven’t put the time in to understand properly? Did you know all science originated out of the science of astrology?
My gripe with my own sign, Sagittarius, is having too many interests and not following through. I love Leos by the way, as long as you can take a knee every now and then they’re the most loyal and honest out of everyone.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | May 29, 2018 4:30 AM |
Everything you said is why I love Sag

R77 -
As a Libra with Cancer ascendant you took the words right off my fingers! As far as the Cancer part goes, I once had a date with a guy who couldn't believe I could actually get depressed about bad things happening to fictional characters in movies and books!
The Libra part, I'm doubly blessed with sun and moon conjunct. It's mean to say we're flaky. I hate the indecisive part though! Every possible choice in moving forward opens up a slew of "what if" questions.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | May 29, 2018 4:38 AM |
I was skeptical of astrology too, but once I got my natal chart done it was like a blueprint of my personality. You're right, R80, there are so many nuances when you factor in houses, angles, etc., it's actually quite complex and very individual. The chances of two people having exactly the same chart is virtually impossible.
Right on, R78 and R83.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | May 29, 2018 4:39 AM |
I know exactly what you mean about getting upset over bad things happening to others, including fictional characters!
by Anonymous | reply 87 | May 29, 2018 4:41 AM |
I also hate being materialistic. I wish I didn’t like stuff so much. My taurean need for nice things is amplified by having the sun in my second house
by Anonymous | reply 88 | May 29, 2018 4:41 AM |
Do Taurus and scorpio make good matches? I always attract them as partner or friends.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | May 29, 2018 4:48 AM |
Great list, R83. #17 made me chuckle because it's so true. Do it right this second because if I don't I won't do anything at all.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | May 29, 2018 4:52 AM |
R4 link is interesting, confirming how awesome and enlightened we Gemini are.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | May 29, 2018 5:00 AM |
Taurus and Scorpio are in opposition, meaning one has what the other lacks. That makes for a strong attraction, but when you are in conflict, the shit that bugs you about the other person *really* bugs you. Sparks fly in positive and negative ways. If you can overcome those differences, though, it can be like two puzzle pieces fitting together to make a whole.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | May 29, 2018 5:04 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 93 | May 29, 2018 5:06 AM |
R93 —other Earth signs—Capricorns , virgos , possibly air signs next —libras, Aquarius, Gemini

Taurus and Cancer; Earth and Water are a great combo. Both are loving and there for the long haul.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | May 29, 2018 5:09 AM |
R95 yeah sorry I stand corrected Other Earth and Water signs next , not air So, Capricorn, Virgo, cancer, Scorpio, pieces

[quote]What about twins born on the same day who are completely different from each other?
Actually, they usually end up being quite similar. Look up stories of twins that were separated at birth.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | May 29, 2018 5:17 AM |
I'm a Virgo, and while I don't fit into the stereotypes about everything having to be neat, or being bossy, anal, high standards or temperamental - I do fit into the one about being judgey. I analyze everything around me, often finding the good in situations along the way, but also prone to criticizing things. I find it tedious to be around me, so I usually keep it all to myself, and go home in a shitty mood - but I get over it rather easily once I have some time to myself. I'm really quite amazed that people still enjoy my company and I have a loving partner - I just get so annoyed so easily about things and wish that I didn't.
It's usually when people seem rude, entitled or self-absorbed. I get very critical of them and it takes me a while to shake it off.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | May 29, 2018 5:21 AM |
And your partner's sign, R99, if you don't mind sharing?
by Anonymous | reply 100 | May 29, 2018 5:23 AM |
He's a Sagittarius.
And no, he's not cheating on me. LOL.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | May 29, 2018 5:23 AM |
Generally speaking, Taurus works well with the "down to earth" signs (earth and water). I agree Taurus and Cancer is a great combo. Air signs tend to be too flighty and changeable for fixed in his ways Taurus.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | May 29, 2018 5:26 AM |
Thanks for the info, everyone. It's interesting because my most reliable friend over years is a Cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | May 29, 2018 5:30 AM |
Virgo here again, from R99. Incidentally, I dated Tauruses exclusively (and not deliberately), throughout my 20s and early 30s. The common factor I found was that Tauruses, for all their romantic sexy cuddling fun loving nature, they are actually total passive aggressive control freaks, and won't do anything outside their comfort zone, ever. They also tended to keep me at bay sexually, refusing me frequently, and made me feel emasculated. The biggest problem for me was that they never wanted to go anywhere. They were content with the comforts of home, all the fucking time, to an almost agoraphobic degree.
Dating a Sag - not the same issue at all. I get to be with someone I debate with all the time (for better or worse), and every damn adventure is a negotiation, but it's always an adventure. I don't hear "no" very much at all, like I did with Tauruses. We travel and fuck and cook and eat and socialize and party and chill together very well. I really never thought I would fall for someone this hard, who was a fire sign. But, we are in our late 40s, so I suppose people just evolve into whatever works for them, and we find ourselves somewhat adopting each others habits a bit too after all these years.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | May 29, 2018 5:37 AM |
That's nice, R99. Thanks for sharing.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | May 29, 2018 5:38 AM |
May I point out that Virgos are good at expressing themselves.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | May 29, 2018 5:43 AM |
That it's all bullshit. There are only 12 types of people on Earth.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | May 29, 2018 5:46 AM |
I feel your pain, R99. I have a stellium (and Venus) in Virgo and also have a judgemental streak. Do you find that people sense your disapproval even if you don't say a word?
It's good you can shake it off. That's probably one of the reasons why you have harmonious relationships despite this quirk. I'm guessing you're just as critical toward yourself as with others. Don't be so hard on yourself. I know, easier said than done for Virgo. ;)
by Anonymous | reply 108 | May 29, 2018 5:52 AM |
Taurus abd Cancer = soul mates.
by Anonymous | reply 109 | May 29, 2018 5:56 AM |
*and
by Anonymous | reply 110 | May 29, 2018 5:56 AM |
Thanks, R108. I am rather transparent in my behavior, so yes, people tend to pick up on my judgey vibe. The older I get, though, the easier it can be to hide it, actually, or to find a way to cope in the moment. It's really a bad habit - but not as bad as being self-absorbed. Hehe.
Yes, I can be very hard on myself. I own my own shit - which is why I have a partner. I found that when I learned how to be honest equally about myself in addition to the nonsense around me, it was endearing enough for some people to stick around, apparently. I can shake it off because I'm aware I'm not perfect.
It's really a matter of saturation, though. If I'm having a great day, and I witness some jerky behavior around me, I can cope quite easily. But some days it's a barrage of idiotic behavior i see around me, and it adds up to me getting in a dour mood at times. Things like not letting an old person get a seat on a bus, or spitting on the sidewalk right in front of someone else walking, whether it's me or not. People not using turn signals, etc., constantly changing the subject to themselves, that kind of thing. My partner gets annoyed at this stuff too, but not as deeply as I do. He's much better at not letting his psyche get impacted by others' nonsense. He does well in talking me off the ledge at least.
But why do so many people have to be such self-involved shits? There really is a lot of it out there.

It sounds like you have things well in hand, R111. What you describe actually sounds quite endearing and self-aware. I would be friends with a person like that myself. :)
I know what you mean about those irritants adding up. Whatever it is, if something strikes me in a certain way (usually, as you, noticing behaviors which seem unnecessarily rude, thoughtless, self-absorbed, etc.,), it's like turning on a switch and for the rest of the day I see one thing after another and it accumulates. By the end of the day I'm emotionally drained. It's not all the time; there are plenty of times when I can shrug it off. I think at least part of it, for me, depends on how irritating the first instance is and how closely it's followed by subsequent incidents. If I observe/experience a cluster of two or three things in fairly close succession, chances are it's going to be one of those days.

by Anonymous | reply 118 | May 29, 2018 7:41 AM |
Virgos are either bat-shit crazy and scare the fuck out of me with their judging, controlling, and guilt-tripping. or tedious, banal, superficial and materialistic. There does not seem to be one in my own life I have ever liked: including my own sister.
by Anonymous | reply 119 | May 29, 2018 7:58 AM |
I could have written R119, with two amendments. No guilt-tripping, as the sister is aware of her own culpability, proud of it in her way, and can't be bothered to project.
Also, no either/or: all other demerits apply. I'm open-minded about astrology; but when these threads appear and Virgos are taken down, I'm always startled at the accuracy of such accounts.
Have to say I ruefully take on board how we Scorpios come across too.

There is truth oddly in the consensus R120... BTW, I rather like my Scorpio friends. Some people surprise you though, I know a Leo lady who doesn't have all the bad traits. I'm Gemini: I'm neither two-faced or flighty. Sorry you must suffer a Virgo sister too. I advise taking phone calls only occasionally, and keep contact to a minimum. Drama lovers the lot of them.

R145 I'm R138 who R139 was replying to. As I stated we are polite to a fault. Apparently impolite people don't know that they are. What is also impolite is the person with the single item clearing their throat and making a show of their one item with the expectation that they can guilt or manipulate me into letting them go to the front of the line, simply because they didn’t want to wait fourth in the 12 items or less line.

R158, I'm a Scorpio. I'll try to explain, but I can only speak for myself, and won't speak for others. With a partner, my sexual pleasure depends on pleasing my partner. I can't get off if they don't get off, and I'll do just about anything within reason to make my partner feel worshipped and adored. I'll suck your dick, your nipples, your toes (if that's your thing), the nape of your neck, rim your ass until you're ready to lose control, and fuck you in any position you prefer. I'm not a bottom, so unfortunately, that's off limits for me.
My ex is an Aries: we were a volatile combination. He was a rather passive lover: that was perfect for me, since I could make love to every inch of his body while he would just lie there with a beatific grin on his face. We've been separated for a long time, but he'll still sometimes make glancing comments about how he's never had anyone else who could compare. I don't have a swollen ego, to be honest. Now, I jerk off way too many times per day, which I'm not exactly proud about.
by Anonymous | reply 165 | May 30, 2018 6:55 AM |
Capricorn here. I've been called cold. When friendships or relationships go bad, I cut the person off. I can put them behind me and move on. I'll hurt a lot, but being so vulnerable, I have to put them behind me and move on. It is something people learn about me through my stories, and accept when it happens to them, mostly. They know it is who I am.
This trait disturbs me a lot, and I have tried to change it. It is hard though, as it comes from a fear of vulnerability, that even typing that terrifies me.
To clarify, I can be quickly insightful about people I meet, and they are drawn to that. It makes me charismatic, I think. I try to help them, and be a force for good while I am there, but then when I am gone I am gone. I can't say I let people see me and who I am. I'm not sure I even know. But for anyone to see deep inside is a terrifying thought. It used to be lonely, but I keep people at arms length now, so it is fine. Cold.
It may not even be being a Capricorn, but having a history of childhood trauma.

And yes, there is a strong correlation Gemini - Gay - Left Handed

I'm gay, left-handed and Aquarius R176.
I could understand a left-handed prevalence for air signs more generally as left-handers are thought to be the cerebral astrological group, but just for Gemini? That seems way too specific, like 8% or something? Anecdotal evidence doesn't count for anything but the few gay/bi Gemini I've met were all right-handers FWIW (and they were mentally/psychologically unstable and promiscuous/polyamorous..).
Living as an Aquarius has been an interesting, difficult journey so far but I think it's about to get more fun with this new Gen of little Aqua dominant kids coming up now. There's not much I dislike about my sign, actually. I just don't like the way other signs deride us with generalisations that aren't true; statements like "you're too cold", "you don't give a shit about anything", and "you don't live in the real world". Newsflash asshole, there is no objective real world and there's not much worth giving a shit about. And Aquarians care deeply.

R179 - Have you had your chart done? Your sun sign is only one of many aspects of who you are as a person. The rising, and moon signs are also quite significant factors. Quick chart for free at alabe.com/freechart/ The very detailed one will cost money.
And, at R176 - I'm only relaying what I read sometime ago, and I could be wrong. I think I read this at astralreflections many years ago. Send him an email to verify/deny my statement. It may be either the sign in either your moon north or south node that determines the sign in your life to avoid? And perhaps, the correlation of Gemini/Gay/Left-Handed is anecdotal, I'm not an astrologist. I was hoping someone could verify, or dismiss the information I have.
Maybe do a poll asking are you gay and left handed? Giving your sun sign in a comment?

I'm a Leo, and I don't take criticism well, at all. My BF Libra always says "you hate being told you're wrong, or what to do." I just say, "who does?" Lol.
I think it's important to look at how the zodiac negative and positive traits work together. I absolutely hate criticism and I'll rage against it and be bitter toward a lot of people who offer it. But, regardless of Leo ego, I can reflect. And, if I believe that the criticism was because the person cared about me and they weren't using it to diminish me (I know, Leo ego), I'll be loyal to that person for life, and can take their criticism, even if on the surface I hate it.

Also, to authentically divinate the stars, you need to gut a sacrificial animal and poke around in its bloody corpse.
"Babylonian astrology developed within the context of divination. A collection of 32 tablets with inscribed liver models, dating from about 1875 BC, are the oldest known detailed texts of Babylonian divination, and these demonstrate the same interpretational format as that employed in celestial omen analysis.[18] Blemishes and marks found on the liver of the sacrificial animal were interpreted as symbolic signs which presented messages from the gods to the king. I know snide and stupid of every sign. I know people of nearly every character type of every sign. I know Libras Leos, Cancers, etc, who are VASTLY different from each other and more individuals of different signs who are alike. I get that astrology is fun and it can be "true" in that people will match the descriptions, but it's 12 signs covering billions of people. The range of people within a sign, and the fact that there's wonderful, awful, and everything in between people from each sign, really minimizes it.

As to the gay/left-handedness question upthread, yes, there's a correlation (sorry, Geminis, it's not about you)...
[quote]Abstract: Although numerous researchers have hypothesized a biological factor in the etiology of homosexuality, there is a lack of empirical evidence. Previous investigations did not focus on behavioral functions of the brain. Using neuropsychological testing, we found an increased incidence of left-hand preference (defined as non-consistent right-hand preference) in a group of 32 homosexual women. A trend in the same direction was found in a group of 38 homosexual men. These results suggest that homosexual orientation has a neurobiological component possibly related to hemispheric functional asymmetry. The results are consistent with previous reports that (1) prenatal neuroendocrine events are a factor in the development of human sexual orientation and functional brain asymmetries, and (2) the mechanisms associated with homosexual orientation and related neuropsychological characteristics are different between the sexes, i.e. elevated levels of prenatal sex hormones in women and decreased levels in men.

Me--I get tired of the moodiness and the bad luck--having to be resilient gets old.

r166, I'm curious about your tendency to just cut people off.
I had been fucking a Capricorn male on and off for several years. Nothing serious, just fuck buddies and I thought we were both OK with that.
Then I saw him at a party so I went to speak to him. Like "hey, how you doing?" type thing that people do in social situations.
He completely ignored me. So I left and haven't seen him since until recently when he came rolling up on me asking to see me again.
WTF man? Is this typical of Capricorn behavior? I figured he was hitting on someone else but he didn't have to publicly shun me. Then he later thinks that I'll forget about that and fuck him?
by Anonymous | reply 215 | September 10, 2018 6:34 PM |
^^As a Capricorn Venus/Mars conjunct person, I'll hazard a guess that what happened with your FB was you approached him in a situation where - unbeknownst to you - he was around people he wanted to impress for business/work/hustle reasons (though you may also be correct that it was a conquest you interrupted, as Cappies love sex only slightly less than the grind). He was likely afeared that you might accidentally or otherwise spill dirt on him and thereby expose him to one of his marks.
As for the bouncing back to ask you out again after that like a rude asshole? Well, all Capricorn placements can be boorish and this is especially in the Sun/Moon/Jupiter where they are undignified, in detriment and in fall respectively - remember to look at Dignities, they're crucial! Btw, the only advantageous planets for Capricorn are Mars where the sign is exalted and gives excellent sexual prowess and ambition/drive, or Saturn where it is in domicile/has rulership and gives almost sattvic self-control...

The good thing about Aries is that they're determined, enthusiastic and have a young attitude. As a Scorpio, I feel steamrollered by them at times, but I also know that they don't even know that they're doing it. So, not the most sensitive of signs and not a sign that likes to settle down (that eternal youth thing), but up for energetic sex.

I got brutally friend-dumped by an Aries galpal who decided that I wasn't hitting enough milestones, making enough money or climbing the right ladders quick enough to continue a relationship with her. My homosexuality also made her uncomfortable, as she was raised Catholic and cleaves to small-minded ideas.
I was devastated to lose her friendship (we were close in HS) at the time, but in hindsight it's good riddance. I'm better off with artistic, bohemian, cool and unconventional types around me like Libra, Sagittarius and Pisces. I've realised that I don't dislike being Aquarius, except when another sign is bringing something ugly out of me i.e. Leos who trigger my Chiron and turn me into a passive walk-behinder, or Cancers who depress me.

So, tell me this Zodiac maniacs:
Fred was born on May 20, at 11:55pm U.S. Eastern Standard Time. That makes him a Taurus.
Jane was born on May 21 at 12:02am U.S. Central Standard Time. That makes her a Gemini.
Do the planets "divinate" by time zones, which were made up centuries after the revised Gregorian Calendar?
Do Fred and Jane grow up behaving differently because of a few minutes' time difference?
Let me answer that. No, because it's all bullshit.
by Anonymous | reply 237 | September 11, 2018 3:29 AM |
R237 - Yes, but you're making an assumption that only the sun sign is one's chart. It's so much more complex, and no two charts are the same. Do your own chart at alabe.com - and that's a very simplistic 'photo' of the sky at the time of your birth.
The signs change at a specific minute, and never at the same time, that is Virgos are not necessarily are anyone born August 21 to September 20. And time zones are part of that determination, including DST. There is no such thing as being born on the 'cusp', you are either a Leo or Virgo depending on the year/month/hour/minute of birth. You can find the charts to determine this.
And please stopping taking this so seriously, as to debunk it. I don't take it seriously as someone who follows it, more as rather fascinating entertainment, rather than with a religious fervor. And I would never try to convince you to share my interest in Astrology.
I find it amusing that so many men at this site are addicted to pron, and obsess over certain pron 'stars'. I don't share this, but, that's their thing, and I'm not going to tell them to stop posting threads about it. You should do the same. . .

R218 and r222 are pretty much on the mark. Sexually, Aries loves a challenge. Especially when you do the whole "don't pretend you don't know what you did to provoke my silence" thing you're famous for. Drives us nuts. Playing with fire, you are.
The one thing I hate about being an Aries is that I tend to be aggressive and not consider that someone might be sensitive. I can be bristling and brusque and sensitive types tend to be offended by it but it's nothing personal! That's just the way we are with everyone.
As we get older, most of us realize we're dumb and try to straighten up.

R232 yes, it is common to see eternally-faithful Scorpio/Cancer pairs. Drake (Bell) & Josh (Peck) are archetypical, in that no matter how many pass-agg fights they get into they inevitably smooch and make up.
A pet theory is that Scorpio feels they can trust Cancer alone because Cancer can't hide their true emotions. A typical Scorpio has trust issues, and so feels safer with a person that they know is incapable of concealing feelings and someone who like them believes in concepts like 'forever' (shit that won't fly with other signs). Cancer for their part feel secure and loved in this couple because they know that Scorpio is loyal enough to defend them to the death if needs be, a quality in Scorp they find romantic that everyone else finds terrifying.
Basically they're both high-key and dramatic water signs who desperately crave protection and intimacy, so only they can provide the other with what they want and need.

Another great insight into Trump's inadequacy. Even the Zodiac sees right through him.
Wannabe Leo is perfect - given the laughable pseudo-leonine hair, and haughty chin-up, looking down demeanour.
The fact that his by-magnitudes intellectual superiors and betes noir Clinton and Obama are true Leos seals the deal.

I know one thing people hate about Aquarius is how we get away with selfish insane out-of-the-blue decisions because we're so damn likeable.
I remember this radio interview (linked) that broke it down. The host tells Aquarius entertainer Bobby Brown (of R&B fame and celebrity infamy) that "you have a certain charisma that makes people like you, in spite of things that have happened. People just love you for who you are [despite notoriously shitty things you have done in the past]". That struck a chord with me and I think from the affronted look Bobby gave the camera/host I wasn't the only one...

Pisces are well-intentioned to the core and like to try and see the best in everything, that is true. They're generally sweet nice people, even the depressed or negative ones. Unfortunately good intentions aren't the be-all and Pisces can end up just frustrating everyone around them with their leechy helplessness. Some of these posts have been very illuminating. I'm a Scorpio, and my ex is an Aries. As strong as I normally am in standing up for myself, he was never scared or intimidated. He made it clear he didn't mind a challenge. So, now that we're separated, when he asks for help, I can't help remembering that the problems he's facing (keeping his business afloat) are because of his fearlessness. He doesn't give in. My loyalty is my downfall, for better or worse. When I love someone, I will be there for them, whatever the cost. I know Scorpios have a bad reputation: oversexed, bad temper, etc. But I learned early on that there was a sadistic streak there, and once I knew it was there, I made a conscious decision to never indulge that. Reading about astrology can lead to greater self-awareness, which is a good thing, I think.

R271, This was a long time ago, but I ended up in jail, because of my drinking (yes, I'm very sorry and ashamed). He visited me ever day he was allowed, and we talked to each other through glass, on those phones they provide. Once I was out, I wanted so badly to take comfort in his arms, but he just couldn't: he said he was too traumatized seeing me in those circumstances to ever feel that way about me again.
He later admitted that he had jumped the gun, and shouldn't have done that. Unfortunately, in the meantime, he had already moved on with another guy, then another. Those relationships of his were devastating to me, but I'd still give him advice when he'd call and ask me for it.
We're a lot older, now, and he's been the one driving me to my scheduled medical visits, where I need someone to drive, and I'm still the one he calls when he's in financial trouble. My birthday is coming up soon (10/24), and I know he'll be the first person to check in with me and ask me what I want to do (well, I have to work). My Mom was and my brother still is an Aries: Scorpios and Aries aren't a good match, in general, but I grew up negotiating those kinds of conflicts, so maybe I have an advantage.

Capricorns are actually the biggest hos of all.
Many of them have Venus in Sagittarius which makes them unable and unwilling to commit. If they do, they will always have a roving eye and open zipper. Especially if their moon or rising sign is Aries, Sagittarius or an air sign.

Interesting that a Cap Sun can be modified like that R291. My former crush (of years ago, my teen years to be exact) had that inverted - Sun in Sag and a Capricorn stellium including Venus - and he was actually pretty monogamous & faithful. Maybe it was his Moon/Pluto on the Scorp cusp? He's kind of a ho now, but only a Corporate whore (fucking to get up the ladder, basically) and still not one for fun lighthearted flings or openly spreading it around. I have Venus/Mars in Cap and I think it makes someone very serious & private about sex.
I agree with the Cap Sun/Sag Venus assessment, though. My most devastating hometown crush had that, and he was the biggest bisexual slut I'd ever met (until I went away to Art College...;)). This guy had a gorgeous French gf willing to do whatever he wanted plus like three sidechicks, AND was dl-fucking guys in my class. He was 17 at the time and had that dreamy blond androgynous twink thing going to seduce so many people. Hilariously the shine wore off in a few short years and now he has to beg for what people used to serve him. I never got his birthtime to check it properly but I estimate he also had Taurus Mars and a Pisces Moon fwiw.

Capricorn women - FAKE, FAKE, FAKE! Will lie to you with a fake smile. Denials are almost comical as they know full well that you now better, but they're still not admitting to shit! TWO - FACED!

YESSSS R293. My mother is a buttinski bitch Capricorn Sun who can’t stop dying on the cross and then spilling her guts all over everyone after the fact to prove what a “righteous” person she is. Undercuts others, micromanaged, criticises and controls/demeans all while pretending she’s being forced into “taking care” of others out of a goodness she doesn’t have. She’s a real dead-eyed piece of work, and limited & boring to boot (no ability to appreciate art, teetotaller etc.). And yeah, you’d have more luck getting minerals out of the Earth’s Core than a genuine emotion or admission of truth out of her. She manipulates her family, snoops & pries, and cannot let a grudge go...but judges others for the same.
Capricorns equate efficiency/functionality with good work, looking successful with feeling right and surviving with living. Fuck them in their hairy goat assholes.

by Anonymous | reply 295 | October 21, 2018 4:33 PM |
R296 - You're either a Cancer or a Leo, the cut offs are to the minute. You can search for charts that indicate the exact time any Sun Sign exited, and then entered another sign. Knowing your time of birth is always helpful when doing a chart. The usual times, as shown in most newspaper horoscopes are average, but vary within a few days.

I’m a Capricorn/Aquarius cusp. Aries rising. Moon in Libra. Venus in Capricorn. Mars in Aquarius.
I keep falling for fickle, lying Libras, whose main aim in life is to find a steady to come home to, while they go out and fuck around. And, they lie about their drinking.
No moreLibras for me!

Secretive and obsessed with money and financial security - Capricorn
by Anonymous | reply 304 | November 4, 2018 6:22 PM |
^^R304 best to steer clear of them, yes. My cousin, a Libra with Sagittarius planets, just married his heavyset older female Boss. He's clearly only doing it to lock in goodwill with his rich tyrant father/job security (maybe a big promotion, company car, pension and so on). I know his wife is not his type from secretly following him on Twitter; his longtime penchant is for skinny/slender redhead callgirls and blond twink dancers.
He used to be a songwriter and wanted to spend every day out in the clubs drinking and going to pop gigs, and even though he's given up the musician life and got a proper job in a London ad agency now he still drinks like a fish (we recently caught him lifting gin from our grandmother). He wants a baby with his new wife in his quaint new townhouse but we all know there's no way he's staying faithful or sober in that relationship.

Alpha Dog, through and through - Sag
by Anonymous | reply 306 | November 4, 2018 6:28 PM |
R304/R305 I've got both Venus & Mars in Capricorn + outer planets in a stellium, as well as a Capricorn mother. I have had a long-time frustrating pattern of falling deep in lust with Caps and attracting the cruellest vainest most manipulative ones (or the ones who are married/with kids or 3x older than they claim). I don't even like Capricorns, I just lock eyes with one and end up wanting to sleep with them or follow them around like a puppy. It's disgusting, and I want to stop myself getting involved with them altogether.
As I live with a messy whiny Pisces + a messier whinier Cancer and I dislike other Earth signs, I'm now looking for a fun Aries or a cool Scorpio to flirt and make out with as a refreshing change of pace. I'm ambivalent about Librans and I think Gemini are lying superficial bores obsessed with trends/what others are doing.
by Anonymous | reply 307 | November 4, 2018 6:31 PM |
r308 that Cap thing is you trying to work out issues with your ma. Sorry. It is.
Figure out what the issue is/was and that will go a long way to help inoculate yourself against them in the future.
Caps can withhold affection and approval like cunts. Maybe that's what you are trying to work out? Getting affection from a cold bitch because you did not get it from childhood from a cold bitch and you're now trying to prove you can? That you are worthy of a Capricorn's approval?
Just throwing it out there.
by Anonymous | reply 308 | November 4, 2018 6:40 PM |
Thanks, and interesting you say that R309; I only wish it were quite so clear-cut. You're right that there must be a connection but my mother is far from cold. She's calculating, but not disapproving or unaffectionate.
In fact Cap mother is/was actually a Smother; she was constantly hugging/kissing/hovering over me as a kid when I asked her not to (yeah, go ahead y'all and say 'aspie Aqua') and was the first one to say how 'special' and 'good' I was for doing mundane shit (I saw through those lies pretty young). While I was growing up she didn't have a life of her own outside me & my sibs/DH and her shitty office job. She herself unfortunately had a chilly social-climbing Gemini mother (my grandmother) who ditched her own kids with house-servants for a life at the club, so my mother was raised at boarding school and by household help (by contrast I had to scrape to go to public school and grew up in relative dereliction). She never really pushed me in school or work and always tried to get me to stay home and be helpless. She is the type to 'help' and insinuate herself into the lives of others by martyrdom - so nothing like the Caps I attract if equally as toxic and false.
I'm not sure where that leaves me in terms of my Capricorn quandary but welcome further thoughts.

How sad about Sags. All the Sags I've ever known were super hot and really good looking. I'm more into faces than gym rat bodies. They all were gorgeous facially, intelligent with great personalities and super charming. Unfortunately, they can't keep themselves from cheating and lying. They're very deceitful. They'd make great actors!
This even applies to my straight Sag male friends, they all cheat on their longtime GFs and wives. If you are looking for commitment, honesty and stability in a relationship, Sags are one of the worst signs. Stay away!

R311 Oh c’mon! I’m a Sag as well, and while some of those traits you wrote describe me as well, the “cheating” part is a solid no. I’ve been in a 4 year long relationship and committed to it because I loved the other person, no cheating, no open relationship or whatever. Not all of us are like that.

R251 I either dislike or disregard almost everybody - 8th house Libra Moon (in Chitra Nakshatra, for the Vedic followers) squaring literally everything in my chart bar the Sun/Saturn in conjunction, Chiron, Jupiter & Pluto. There’s like one person I’d go to bat for on the whole planet. I want to live & work alone not sharing my bed or space, and I have zero time for the problems of others. I’ve been called selfish and unreachable and I’m fine with that. I don’t think I’m a ‘path, however, as I’m not one for gameplaying and cbf with drama.
I do have Aquarius rising, however, which gives me impulsive fits of random compassion toward strangers and a desire to help humanity grow and become more, well. Humane on a large-scale.

Do tell more about Sagittarius fuckery. The Sags I've know have all cheated on their partners, gay and straight friends, and they all seem to have a sexual appetite which borders on mania. They are always on the prowl for sex. I find it hard to believe that all of my Sag friends possess the negatives aspects of Sags.
After being with their GF for close to 5 years, one straight male friend was about to get married. He was on some work related trip, met some bimbo at a company party, fucked her that night, when he go home he called off the wedding with his fiancée. He didn't end up with the bimbo, but he told me, he just knew he "wasn't finished fucking other women". The wedding was already planned, hall was booked etc.

One theory I’ve heard to explain this is that in the ‘new astrology’ (that accounts for cosmic shift and the movement of our planet through the Solar system) people called Sagittarius Suns are in fact Scorpio, and so naturally demonstrate the legendary Scorpio libido in all its unscrupulousness.

r252 I am a Capricorn and yes I have ice water running through my veins but I'm on the cusp of SAG and I have an Aries moon so I can get insanely angry but it depends on how deep the fuck up is whether I just get over it and move on or turn cold as ice. The Sag part of me gives me a looooooong fuse but if after giving a lot of benefit of the doubt if a person still is fucking with me then I turn to ice. I also realize that there is a part of me that probably could have been an assassin if things had gone a certain way. I hate bullies and get insanely angry when I see someone being cruel to animals, old people or any helpless individual. Go figure.
I prefer to be chill and playful but there aren't a lot of people who respond in kind. Many people do take kindness and a fun personality as someone who is a push over. But I have lived in big cities New York and LA so run into many many people who are not what they seem. I'm pretty much cards on the table, I hate playing game, don't want to work that hard, but people don't believe me. I've found that even if you come out and tell someone the truth about who you are they will test it or just ignore it and push buttons.

by Anonymous | reply 328 | January 7, 2019 5:33 PM |
The worst thing about being a Pisces is having no self-control. I feel like a slave to my desires, whatever my body craves I have to give it. Overcoming my natural laziness to get stuff done is mostly impossible except for rare bursts of energy that I have no control over. I can also tune out things I don't want to deal with a little too well which leads to epic levels of procrastination.

My Sagittarian cousin spent years hitting on and eyefucking me across the family dinnertable when we were teens, only to laugh in my face and shame me when I finally caved and reciprocated in College. He turned out quite the callous little cocktease (literally; afaik he’s not well-endowed and of course he wouldn’t stoop to correct me). I see it as pitiful & childish for someone to play at rebellion, but I’m sure he’d disagree at bloviating and petit-bourgeois length.
Oh, and he works as a blogger so at least I may disdain him in return and with good reason. I mean, journalists are enough...

what I dislike about being an Aries? The aggression, the "come at me, bro! " attitude, quick temper and impatience.
What I like about being an Aries is the absolute fearlessness that borders on foolhardy, the physical energy and the ability to not GAF about what other people think.
I don't intentionally hurt people or want to hurt anyone but some people think that not taking their unsolicited advice is "mean".

R334 my Moms is a Cap but she has a strong Rising Sag Venus (literally 0 degrees ascendant), and is still very much in-love and in a secure happy comfortably committed relationship with my Leo Dad who has a Canc Venus & Taurus Mars as well as Saturn in Sag (he’s older than she is by several years). They’ve been married for thirty years. FWIW my Pisces sister also has strong Sag stellium energy (Venus Jupiter & Pluto all on a Sag IC) and her long term bf is also an older Leo Sun. That said, both women also have strong Gemini influence so idk how that factors in. Leo does seem like a good match for Sag on paper, just bc Leo is too self-centered to even notice that Sag is so thoughtless (imagine a Libra or a Scorp or even an Aries letting that horseshit slide, pun intended).
If it helps I’m Aquarius with a lot of Cap/Scorp in domicile and I haaaaate Sag men and straight girls BUT I really vibe Sag lesbian. Sag takes to lesbianism really well, so maybe that’s sth to keep in mind...
