Plastic Surgery question

Anyone have procedures done? I have very thin skin under my eyes and it is sort of flatter than my face...similar to the photo. Has anyone had any work done to correct under eye? Fillers or ?? I have had them all my life and want them gone.

So you want surgery in order to get bags under your eyes?

Perhaps you can get a bag implants.

Yes, filler can easily correct it.

uhhh no R1 I want them gone...as in removed or filled I just don't know about having work done on the under eye. I have heard horror stories.

Fillers only last a year

I have grooves, not bags, like OP's photo.

I got to my dermatologist to get filler injected every 12-18 months. It's Belotero. But they also use Voluma and Juvederm.

Tear trough augmentation, it's called. A few hundred bucks.

r5 omg thank you and you are happy with the results?

Filler can last much longer under the eyes, (even three years or more) just make sure it is one of the newer sorts of filler for under eyes, otherwise it can leave a bluish tinge.

Very happy with it, R6. Highly recommend.

Make sure your doc puts it in deep (on bone) in this area. The more shallow, the more uneven and blue it might look. When you pick a doc, look at the reputation (try to get first hand advice if possible - online is always a little unreliable). Dermatologists can be just as good as plastic surgeons, if not even better - depending on how much they do it.

I've heard belotero has less risk of appearing blue in this area, but ask your doc about that. Or check out Realself.com.

This area is very common & hopefully you won't have any issues. Some docs like to use blunt micro-cannulas because they don't cause bruising (which can take ages to fade under the eye). Needles are more likely to cause bruises but slightly more precise....also require far less training /experience to use needles.

I once paid $600 to have a black and blue eye for a month, so I stopped doing this area altogether... but if I were to go back, I'd ask for micro-cannulas only in this region.
