She was incredibly gorgeous during the younger years of her career (and still is for her age). Preston landed parts in a TON of films, but I do not recollect her ever being offered "lead" roles really. That said, plenty of actors would kill to work as often and for as long as she has. Kelly certainly was no flash in the pan. The Travolta association likely helped - but remember he had plenty of career lows as well. They both seem like nice people and while the marriage is no doubt sexless - I find it hard to believe that it is loveless.

R39, it was probably not a decision made on a whim. They most likely consulted with a doctor. Anti-seizure meds aren’t always effective and in the meantime, they can do damage. If I recall correctly, they were going to try to treat Jett’s seizures with a ketogenic diet, which often works for children when the anti-seizure meds don’t work.
