Fuck off!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 14, 2018 12:49 AM |
Are you generalising here, OP?
Do you mean Southern Italians or Northern?
Or are you merely talking about the ones you've met?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 14, 2018 12:50 AM |
I love guido cock.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 14, 2018 12:55 AM |
It's just a Long Island thing.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 14, 2018 12:58 AM |
It's the Catholicism. A very fucked up religion which infects even Italian atheists. The cultural attitudes towards homosexuality though homosexual art and influences are everywhere you look are still in the 19th century. The most backward in Europe.
John Paul ll and Ratzinger were beyond evil. And the current Pope is just a spin doctor who will do nothing about the past because hey the past is the past. Bishops cardinals and the Pope living in luxury because Catholics are beyond stupid throwing money at a church which is nothing but a vast money laundering machine.
Think the mafia and fascism and you have Italians.
That's why Italians love muslims. They understand them too well.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 14, 2018 1:03 AM |
I love my guido dog!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 14, 2018 1:07 AM |
I used to be friends with an Italian guy who was scruffy and only really into hung bi-curious Anglo guys. He wasn't vulgar or materialistic.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 14, 2018 1:14 AM |
We just had this thread
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 14, 2018 1:19 AM |
I think op means Italian-Americans. Not realizing there are 61 million people in Southern Europe actually called “Italians.”
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 14, 2018 1:21 AM |
She hasn't met any, R4.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 14, 2018 1:23 AM |

Italian-Italians or New Jersey Italians?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 14, 2018 3:45 AM |
Long Island Italians, Rose.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 14, 2018 8:26 AM |
So now it's okay to stereotype based on ethnicity?
What are the next threads going to be?
"Why are black people dishonest?"
"Why are Jews so cheap?"
"Why are Mexicans so lazy?"
Really...???

I really don't like this thread.

Italian-Americans are not white! Darker than Arabs!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 14, 2018 9:13 AM |
Most Italians are not like that, I know, the Vatican, the Vatican so rich. Well that's not most Italians or Catholics for that matter. Poverty is actually a virtue in Catholic religion if you really want to be honest about it. Anyone who has more than someone else should be sharing it not hording it. It doesn't matter if you worked hard to make your money, god doesn't judge people by how much money they have or how hard they worked, they are judged by how well they treat their brothers and sisters AKA all the rest of humanity. Someone who gives you his last 10 dollars because you need it more is closer to god than a Billionaire who gives away a billion dollars but still lives like a king. That's why priests and nuns take a vow of poverty when they enter the convent. Religious Italians are very generous and warm people.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 14, 2018 9:26 AM |
OP started a thread on Italians, on Polish people and the Irish. He used broad generalisations in each one. And, voila, the racists came running.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 14, 2018 9:27 AM |
I don't know OP why are Germans and Scottish men so greedy and piggish like you know who...
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 14, 2018 9:45 AM |
[quote]Italian-Americans are not white! Darker than Arabs
Step out of the glory hole booth you nitwit. Italian Americans are not all dark skinned. Many northern Italians immigrated to the US at the same time the southern Italians did. Italy boarders France and Austria. Except they didn't all move to New Jersey. Millions immigrated all over the US and over a million just in California. Some Italians even have blond hair and blue eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 14, 2018 9:56 AM |
If you're from south of Rome you might as well be from Africa.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 14, 2018 9:59 AM |
Most Italian-American s, being Sicilians, are basically Arabs genetically. That’s about the sum of it.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 14, 2018 10:20 AM |
Italian-Americans are the ghetto, long lost cousins of their mainland relatives. Like that one uncle who you've never met because he's been in prison for a few years.

[quote]Most Italian-American s, being Sicilians, are basically Arabs genetically. That’s about the sum of it.
Most American Italians are not Sicilian dumb ass. Stop watching the Golden Girls as a substitute for knowledge about other ethnic groups.
And by the way Estelle Getty was not Italian or Sicilian, her parents were Polish Jews.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 14, 2018 11:13 AM |
There are some seriously stupid people on here.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 14, 2018 11:19 AM |
Oh yes, OP do tell me now Italian Americans are all ghetto.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 14, 2018 11:28 AM |
As a Sicilian American who has done a DNA test I was surprised to get no sub-Saharan results and less than 8% middle eastern. I was also especially surprised not to get any French. I did get some genetic outlier. (Native Sicilians are like Laps and Basques in that they survived the Caucasasion invasion of Europe 10,000 years ago.) But mostly my Sicilian side was just Italian.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 14, 2018 11:49 AM |
So where does the nappy hair come from on some "nappy haired Italians?" R32
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 14, 2018 11:58 AM |
I fetishize Italian men,
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 14, 2018 12:09 PM |
Nappy hair R32? Like the Irish red heads? Most Italians have strait or wavy hair. There is more diversity within any race than there is between them. As for where the curls came from, could be from the original homosapien all the races originally descended from. There were thousands of years of races blending with all the trade routs. No one is really pure French, English, Spanish or Italian over there. Take a DNA test and you will be surprised, our in your case horrified.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 14, 2018 12:43 PM |
Why does someone on DL always bring up the fact that Italians have "Squeaky clean holes" ? It comes up every time this issue is brought up, even tangentially.
Is there a cultural thing around anal cleansing or something?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 14, 2018 12:47 PM |
In my experience I've found a horny bottom with a dirty hole is a statistical unlikelihood.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 14, 2018 12:49 PM |
OP is a midwestern WASP with a stick up his ass.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 14, 2018 12:51 PM |
Can we stop posts where someone generalizes about a particular race, or in this case, about the people of a particular country? If I met anyone who said what OP wrote, I'd let them know they were an ass and walk away.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 14, 2018 12:52 PM |
Italians have a thing for good hygiene, at least more so than most other white Anglo culture does. R37
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 14, 2018 12:53 PM |
R35 why should you take a condescending attitude with me concerning my legitimate question re some Italians and their "nappy hair?" I've seen it, and I've wondered about it - hence the question. I assure you that "in my case," I would be the very least likely individual to be horrified about anything regarding myself. Your reply was not necessary.

it's OP's 'schtick'...he probably thinks it's funny
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 14, 2018 1:01 PM |
Joy Behar (Italian) talks about her "nappy" hair all the time. She gets it steamed out every morning or maybe had it relaxed altogether. Who knows why some people have more of it than others. Her skin color isn't even dark. What's the difference when there are relaxers anyway?

I have always loved Italian-American men. I can even tell when someone has even a bit of Italian in them.
I've dated a few--all great guys with wacky tempers.

[quote]As a Sicilian American who has done a DNA test I was surprised to get no sub-Saharan results and less than 8% middle eastern.
I really can't believe some of the stupidity here.
The genetic makeup of Sicilians has nothing to do with sub-Saharan Africa and very little to do with the Middle East.

My sexual ideal is a hairy Italian
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 14, 2018 7:54 PM |
Hmmm well Sicily was an Arab colony twice (most of my ancestors come from a Palermo Subarb with an Arab name) and my great great grandfather was adopted in Ethiopia where many Sicilians had business interests at the time, including my great great great grandparents , but you continue to disbelieve the stupidity R47.

What the fuck is "American" ethnicity, according to link at R51, and how can 22 million people be so stupid to list that as their "ethnicity?"

R52 Is a columnist at the Daily Mail.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | May 15, 2018 1:19 AM |
Yes the majority of Italian Americans DID come from Sicily and Calabria. However, to say that Sicilians is arab is wrong in itself. Sicilians do not overlap genetically with a SINGLE Arab nation. Only Ashkenazi Jews share some overlap and that is because Ashkenazi Jews have Sicilian mtdna. Furthermore. Stop perpetuating this Northern Italians are germans myth. No they are not. North Italy does overlap with any North nation genetically. Genetically they overlap directly with Spaniards and the Portuguese. Germanics left almost NO genetic influence in Italy. So stop spreading this nonsense, because it only fuels nordicist propaganda. Also stop posting blue eyed people to prove whiteness. Blue eyes has nothing to do with being white, the original people who migrated in to Europe had dark hair and dark skin. Light eyes are a mutation.
Also get this myth out of here that Italians are somehow "dark skinned", they along with other Southern Europeans live in the SUNNIEST part of Europe, a region that gets about as much sun as North Africa does. Of course they are tanned year around, however, take them out of that climate and toss them into the sunless UK, watch as they return to being pasty like any other European people. If Italians were "dark skinned" naturally, they wouldn't have such sky high skin cancer rates. Dark skinned people are supposed to have more melanin, and Italians have no more than other whites.

[R52] Most of it are lies for the most part, Americans don't know what they are, they just choose their favored ancestries. In the 80s more than half of the so called German Americans selected that they were multiple ethnicities. Philip Defranco claimed being Italian, got a DNA test and found out he was only 20% haha. Americans are just mutts who choose to identify as the ancestry they like the most even if they're barely descended by it.

Far more Italians emigrated to Brazil in the late 19th and early 20th century than the U.S.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | September 18, 2018 4:45 PM |
[R57] That is true, and a little unknown secret about Italian Americans is that over the time period between the late 1800s and early 1900s over 50% of the Italian American immigrants went back to Italy.
