Since I haven't seen this anywhere else, I will mention that being followed around (in stores, public, any and everywhere) and thought of as criminals, as most black people are, might have a little something to do with some of them having mental issues or going insane

I saw an article yesterday about 2 or 3 lovely young men shopping in Nordstroms for prom attire. They did nothing wrong and were not in anyway suspicious. I was in the security line knowing I had a good 15 minutes and suddenly there’s an announcement for my name saying I must come to the gate or miss the place. Apparently everyone had boarded and they were itching to leave.

The rules clearly state that the flight is closed well before departure so the agents and pilots can finalize the paperwork and weights and balances. Once that is completed, as long as they are within the amount of time when the flight is closed out, they have every right to depart.
