Where are the famous openly bisexual actors?
Jim Parsons. Matt Bomer. Zachary Quinto. Continue with the list at your leisure. Say, famous openly gay actors, and you'll get a handful of names even from straghts.
But say, famous bisexual actors, and you'll get what? One name maybe someone will dredge up from their memory?
I'm definitely not the person who doesn't believe bisexual men exist. I know too many of them. Not the "married and in the closet but cheating on his wife with men". Open and honest ones.
So where are they among the celebrities? Pretending to be straight because they are with a woman? Calling themselves gay because they mostly like men and it gives them support from the powerful gays?

Bisexuality by definition implies a lack of chose or commitment. Most people looking for a long term relationship aren't going to be comfortable with the idea that the person is only half committed to the relationship.

R7 Do you only like blond guys? If you like both blond guys and dark-haired guys, does it imply a lack of commitment? No way you can stay faithful to a blond guy when other hair colors are out there, right?

Matt Bomer is not bisexual. He’s an out and proud gay married to a man and presumably faithful to him. He is nice to women but he doesn’t date them or have sex with them.

Matt Bomer played a straight man convincingly well in Magic Mike. So, I thought he was originally bisexual.

To paraphrase what R11 said, OP isn't saying that those he named are bi.
He's acknowledging they're gay - and that anyone can come up with their names when listing gay actors.
However, no one came come up with the names of bi actors.

I found Lee Pace. He came out this March saying "I've dated men, I've dated women." He didn't state he was bi but I guess it's a logical conclusion?

I can only think of Raul Esparza and Alan Cumming. There's many female celebs who identify as bisexual but very few men. Especially actors. There's some actors who have left it vague or have claimed to be queer (Lee Pace, Ezra Miller, and Keiynan Lonsdale) but I've left them out because they didn't say they were bisexual.

R23 Yeah I think it's still harmful to a man's career and image to be openly bi. Some just can't hide it because they are often involved with men, but they don't want to lie and call themselves gay so they use the no labels/queer/whatever phrasing to avoid the dreaded B-word.
It's different for women, it's much easier to be a bisexual female. You are basically thought of as edgy and a free spirit, that's all. Especially if you keep dating men.

Some older or dead ones, who admitted it, even if some later took it back
Marlon Brando
Robert Downey Jr.
Joel Grey (later joined the gay ranks).
Michael York
Freddie Mercury
That guy from REM (Michael Stipe?)
Oh, oops, I slid into singers and just realized you wanted only actors.
Justin Timberlake famously if half-jokingly admitted bisexuality during a sketch about him.

The thing is that even many of the actors that have been listed have never said they were bisexual. It's just speculation or people being labeled bi when they were really gay. Bisexuality isn't even addressed in shows. Most shows and movies will be quick to say a character doesn't like labels or give them an ambiguous label but how many shows have bisexual characters that are not only male but have also stated that they are bi? I'm fine with people labeling themselves with terms that fit them. Whether it be a lack of a label, queer, pan, or whatever else they feel is appropriate. But bisexual men do exist and they're not represented.

R30 That's what I meant earlier. A lot of the times when a male celebrity is saying things like queer no labels fluid sexuality and such, they aren't hiding being gay (unless they used to beard and pretend to be extremely straight). They are wary of saying bisexual.
Same actually goes for characters. They get the same treatment from the creators.

Do pay attention, R26. Title of thread: "Where are the famous openly bisexual actors?".
Like it or not, Heard is in the actor profession. And professed to be bi. A producer friend said she hooked up with 2 stunt-people (guy and girl) during filming.

How is bisexual different from queer or pan or fluid? Is it just the name? Doesn’t saying “No labels” admit they have no preference?

I really doubt that the op meant actor in a general sense. He was clearly talking about bisexual men. Otherwise he would have mentioned lesbians as well as gay men.
There's no shortage of bisexual actresses.
Megan Fox, Amber Heard, Aubrey Plaza, Stephanie Beatriz, Bai Ling, Drew Barrymore, Carrie Brownstein, Mara Wilson Cara Delevingne, Angelina Jolie, Margaret Cho, Kristanna Loken, Michelle Rodriquez, Sara Ramirez, Kristen Stewart and Anna Paquin.
Bisexual men and women both lack representation in the media but there's enough bisexual actresses out there that are starting to change that. I stand by my belief that this thread was about bi men.

Alan Cumming is married to a man. He gay. Gay gay gay.
If he ever fucked a woman, it was by accident or under threat of violence. That man has zero interest in puss regardless of what he says to appear edgy and cool.

[quote][R7] Do you only like blond guys? If you like both blond guys and dark-haired guys, does it imply a lack of commitment? No way you can stay faithful to a blond guy when other hair colors are out there, right?
This is idiotic. Hair color is nowhere as big a focus of sexual desire as genitals, butts, and boobs.
A bi guy can very much miss having people with penises or vaginas, but I doubt bi men - or men of any sexual orientation - would make such a fuss about missing blondes when he is only having sex with brunets, or vice-versa.

If you're very young, you can probably name Keiynan Lonsdale and Andy Mientus.
In addition, there's Lee Pace, who - despite being gay - hinted at being bi. And Lee is way more famous than half the women at r38.

R42 You aren't fucking genitals, you are fucking a person. When you fuck a man with a small dick, you don't miss big dicks and vice versa. You either like his dick or you don't.
All those "I miss dick/pussy so badly" bisexuals are just bored with their current partner and use their sexuality as a reason to cheat.
