by Anonymousreply 65May 5, 2018 9:13 AM

What matters is what Mueller and the New York district court think, OP.

You right wing piece of shit.

by Anonymousreply 1May 3, 2018 10:45 AM

by Anonymousreply 2May 3, 2018 10:58 AM

A little someone was on the road to becoming a Stormy too. We fixed that.

by Anonymousreply 3May 3, 2018 11:01 AM

Washington Free Beacon...such an unbiased and objective site without its own obvious nefarious political agenda!

by Anonymousreply 4May 3, 2018 11:04 AM

Yawn. At pretty much this same juncture, no one cared about Watergate either.

by Anonymousreply 5May 3, 2018 11:07 AM

OP a majority of Americans are ignorant of the law and don’t have prosecutorial powers. What’s your point?

by Anonymousreply 6May 3, 2018 11:07 AM

Je Suis Stormy

by Anonymousreply 7May 3, 2018 11:08 AM

Stormy is part of the bigger picture. She's important and I hope she plays her hand well !!

by Anonymousreply 8May 3, 2018 11:12 AM

i think most Americans view it as a personal matter and don't get the criminal implications.

by Anonymousreply 9May 3, 2018 11:16 AM

Those Russian trolls are working very hard!

by Anonymousreply 10May 3, 2018 11:16 AM

Your source is the Washington Free Beacon? Did you make it past the 6th grade, OP? Have you ever been to a dentist?

Put your legs in the air like you just don't care

So the Russian threads are not even hiding anymore?

by Anonymousreply 16May 3, 2018 11:37 AM

Signed, Russian bot.

Got it, OP.

by Anonymousreply 17May 3, 2018 11:38 AM

Datalounge grasping at straws.

by Anonymousreply 18May 3, 2018 11:43 AM

Bad things happen to greedy stinkfish, sooner or later!

by Anonymousreply 19May 3, 2018 12:01 PM

Oh go away and die, shit breath.

by Anonymousreply 20May 3, 2018 12:05 PM

Is this an example of the "pre-Stonewall gay wit" many of you claim to love about MPC/Erna in other threads?

She is just a vile, conspiracy spewing, Trump-loving cunt. That is all. This is example 9,436.

by Anonymousreply 21May 3, 2018 12:14 PM

butthurt snowflakes sulking after yet another nothingburger

by Anonymousreply 22May 3, 2018 12:57 PM

I can't wait to lick up R22's salty tears after the thrashing that is coming in November.

by Anonymousreply 23May 3, 2018 1:02 PM

Meanwhile Trump's approval ratings rise.

FiveThirtyEight..."Polls of likely or registered voters": 43.3 % approve.

by Anonymousreply 24May 3, 2018 1:06 PM

Of course they are, R24. The Republican "I know nothink!" strategy is working, and the media is refusing to call Trump out on much of anything anymore. Several media types are clearly pro-Trump, because it gives them access. As Americans settle in and get tired of trying to keep up with everything, they tune out.

The media wants Trump somewhat liked by the time midterms roll around, too. It'll help their narrative, which is all about making money and nothing else. It's no big news if some hated president loses his majority in Congress. It's HUGE news if some well-liked president gets "screwed" by "angry voters" who "took to the polls to send a message."

Good luck, everyone. Grab your helmets and make sure you have clean underwear.

by Anonymousreply 25May 3, 2018 1:21 PM

No one cares because no one is surprised. It's what most would expect of Trump. At least Stormy got paid to have her pussy grabbed.

by Anonymousreply 26May 3, 2018 1:28 PM

R25 I also think because we went through a lot of this stuff with Bill Clinton, the public, by now, just really doesn't care.

by Anonymousreply 27May 3, 2018 1:33 PM

Apples and rotten, stinking, putrid, pinguid Cheeto oranges, R27...

by Anonymousreply 28May 3, 2018 1:59 PM

She has a hook nose.

by Anonymousreply 29May 3, 2018 2:40 PM

R28 No one is saying they were the same thing.

But I think after Clintons sex in the Oval office (as President), cumming on an intern's dress (as President), after Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey etc.... the public has shown that it just doesn't care about this stuff.

by Anonymousreply 30May 3, 2018 4:28 PM

Donnie Fatso and his Merry Band of Miscreants have a scandal-a-minute so it's also Outrage Fatigue - no one can keep up.

by Anonymousreply 31May 3, 2018 6:08 PM

But they care that he lied and established a pattern of covering up things and lying on the public record.

by Anonymousreply 32May 3, 2018 6:22 PM

If we start arresting everyman who has paid off a mistress, to keep quiet, there won't be any men left in Hollywood, the business world will collapse, the Capitol will be empty, the sick will die in the streets from lack of doctors, and we will have to build too many prisons.

by Anonymousreply 33May 3, 2018 7:07 PM

The issue isn't whether MOTUS strayed from his marital vows, it's whether he violated campaign finance laws via the source of that $130,000 to repay Cohen. The issue with Clinton wasn't about paying anyone off.

by Anonymousreply 34May 3, 2018 8:23 PM

Bitch please @R33. Not every man is a low life, dirtball scumbag like Trump and Clinton. Don't judge everyone by your low, back alley standards.

For every guy cheating on his wife, there are 20 who aren't.

by Anonymousreply 35May 3, 2018 8:32 PM

Stormy can’t bring Trump down but she can help remind Americans that we have a scandal-plagued buffoon in the White House, suppressing his approval rating below 50%. That’s about all we can hope for right now. Then once Democrats gain congressional subpoena power, maybe they can find other ways to come after him. But actually defeating Donald Trump comes in 2020, not today.

by Anonymousreply 36May 3, 2018 8:37 PM

Well no one can really beat What happened in The Oval Office with Bill Clinton, that mule he was sticking his dick in with the blue dress. That happened when he was a sitting president. Anything after that will not be a big deal. Not only was it scandalous at the time it was also nauseating.

by Anonymousreply 37May 3, 2018 8:46 PM

Yea, right, R37, because it's so much more important what the POTUS does with his dick than how he screws over the 99% and demonstrates hourly what a corrupt, greedy moronic pig he is. I'd take a philandering president with integrity in every other department over the sad alternative we now have impersonating on Pennsylvania Ave.

by Anonymousreply 38May 3, 2018 9:14 PM

[quote]we have a scandal-plagued buffoon in the White House

One that is in the process of denuclearizing the Korean peninsula. 2020 here we come!

by Anonymousreply 39May 3, 2018 9:20 PM

[quote]Yea, right, [R37], because it's so much more important what the POTUS does with his dick than how he screws over the 99% and demonstrates hourly what a corrupt, greedy moronic pig he is. I'd take a philandering president with integrity in every other department over the sad alternative we now have impersonating on Pennsylvania Ave. —Also, please go fuck yourself

R38 I'm not R37 but I have to say, it's impossible to have an adult conversation with the likes of people like you.

Trump has to go. I don't think anyone here disagrees with that. But if were going to talk about Presidential sex scandals... Clinton has Trump beat by far. R37's post is correct.

Believing that does not automatically make one a Trump supporter. Got it?

by Anonymousreply 40May 3, 2018 9:43 PM

Over on a gossip thread about "Prince" Harry's wedding, a poster is calling out other posters for being "rightwing trolls." Apparently, anyone with a difference of opinion, or who can think in shades of gray is now a "rightwing troll" or a "Russian bot."

So I'm with you, R40 - I loathe Donnie Fatso, but what Bill Clinton did, including the distraction bombings, was appalling, and posters calling out both of them are not necessarily "rightwing trolls" or "Ivan."

by Anonymousreply 41May 3, 2018 9:53 PM

Yes, R40, I get it. Perhaps you might concede that conflation is not part of adult or any other conversations that seek to differentiate? And what, pray tell, is the likes of people like me? The point that I was making is that sexuality and what one does in the bedroom or any other room is private and frankly nobody's business but the people involved in the relationship. R37's "Anything after that will not be a big deal" calls into question far more than penile proclivities. I'm not a fan of Clinton, either, but he doesn't come even remotely close to our current MOTUS in terms of corruption, pocket-lining, and cronyism akin to oligarchy.

by Anonymousreply 42May 3, 2018 10:03 PM

The polls should all have a crosstab for "in bubble" and "outside of bubble". Obviously, everyone knows the disinterest in Stormy is outside the bubble, but it would be nice to see it statistically.

by Anonymousreply 43May 3, 2018 10:08 PM

Reading comprehension R40.

And of course you go and post R37's comment out of context.

R37 's "Anything after that will not be a big deal" is about sex scandals.

by Anonymousreply 44May 3, 2018 10:10 PM

Oooops I meant to write: "Reading comprehension R42".

by Anonymousreply 45May 3, 2018 10:12 PM

Trump should've been gone the moment he refused to release his taxes and thumnbing his nose at the emoluments cause.

by Anonymousreply 46May 3, 2018 10:19 PM

thumbing*

by Anonymousreply 47May 3, 2018 10:19 PM

r46, there should be a poll to see how many people don't care about the emoluments claim.

by Anonymousreply 48May 3, 2018 10:26 PM

Syntax and semantics, R40/R45--since when does "anything" mean something other than anything? If R37 had meant solely in the sexual realm, then that should have been stated. One can infer whatever one thinks is within the context, but I read it to be inclusive of...anything.

by Anonymousreply 49May 3, 2018 10:28 PM

R48, they should care. It's the reason Jimmy Carter had to pass off his freakin' peanut farm.

by Anonymousreply 50May 3, 2018 10:30 PM

And what's more nauseating than the prospect of Trump's jejune genitalia?

by Anonymousreply 51May 3, 2018 10:38 PM

Its interesting that 1/2 the country is so invested in defending the immorality and criminality of a man who doesn't give a damn about them and who will never do a damn thing for them.

by Anonymousreply 52May 3, 2018 11:34 PM

Again, what the American people think about Trump’s personal peccadilloes is immaterial to whether or not he broke the law. If he broke the law, he should be held accountable and I know for certain that Robert Mueller agrees.

Trump knows this as well, that’s why he has MANY lawyers working just as hard as they can to get his ass out of this mess he’s created.

by Anonymousreply 53May 3, 2018 11:54 PM

R53, he just can't seem to get the BEST lawyers. The best want nothing to do with him.

by Anonymousreply 54May 3, 2018 11:56 PM

Headline in today's NYTimes: "U.S. Unemployment Rate Falls to 3.9%, Lowest Since 2000"

That's the stuff the public cares about.

(and pointing this out does not mean I'm a Trump supporter or a Russian troll)

by Anonymousreply 55May 4, 2018 1:16 PM

[quote]and pointing this out does not mean I'm a Trump supporter or a Russian troll

yes, it does

by Anonymousreply 56May 4, 2018 2:53 PM

R56 You should write to the NYTimes and complain to them for writing the article.

by Anonymousreply 57May 4, 2018 4:20 PM

This naivety on the part of Americans is partially the result of GOP cuts to education. Most Americans know so little about economics or civics that they just don't get that the President doesn't wave a magic wand and suddenly the economy improves, but rather the improved economy is the result of actions taken years before.

I have seen this over and over in my life: the incoming President gets the blame or credit for actions taken by others.

The Democrats need to get on this right now and take credit for the unemployment rate - they need to boast nonstop like Dumpshit does. "It's the economy, stupid"

by Anonymousreply 58May 4, 2018 4:38 PM

[quote]The Democrats need to get on this right now and take credit for the unemployment rate...

It doesn't work that way. The sitting Pres always gets the credit... no matter what the facts are.

by Anonymousreply 59May 4, 2018 4:56 PM

American men think it’s great that their President bangs porn stars. Sad but true. The economy is doing well, job market is better than its been in 20 years... this is all that Americans care about it. North Korea outcome is also helping Trump too.

by Anonymousreply 60May 4, 2018 7:07 PM

And his poll numbers have risen again. Nate Silver has him now at an approval rating of 43.7%.

The Monmouth University poll that Silver grades at an A+ rating for accuracy, has Trump's approval rating at 45%

Rasmussen at 51%.

by Anonymousreply 61May 4, 2018 7:30 PM

Oh, NO!

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 62May 4, 2018 9:13 PM

R55, more people are going back to work, yes, but you forgot to mention that wages are stagnant and barely keeping up with inflation, even at record unemployment. Add in rising gas prices and I’m not so sure that middle Americans, who don’t read the ‘Failing’ New York Times that the ‘East Coast Elites’ read are noticing the recovery. Wall Street likes cheap labor but the labor doesn’t always feel the same about it. We’ll see how fat their pocketbooks are ina year or two when we’re voting Twitler out of office.

by Anonymousreply 63May 5, 2018 12:39 AM

Most Americans didn't care about Watergate at the time either, but it got a really bad person out of the job of President. Hope history repeats itself.

by Anonymousreply 64May 5, 2018 1:59 AM

[quote]I’m not so sure that middle Americans...(....)...are noticing the recovery.

But people hear those headlines about 3,9% unemployment rate and convince themselves.

Stormy Daniels, Mueller, Comey...etc & etc...yet today Nate Silver has Trump at an approval rating of 44.5%. The highest in a year.

Ipsos (A- rating by Nate Silver) has him at 49% approval.

It may very well all come crashing down tomorrow... but as to the OP's thread title, yes, it seems Americans don't care about Stormy Daniels or Trump payment.
