She probably didn't think her behavior was so bad until she watched this video for herself and then realized that she had no choice but to resign. And the the video was released to the public anyway! The fees would have probably been just a few hundred dollars. If she wanted to be the great savior "responsible" for this kid, she should have just shut the hell up and paid his court fees.
