Who else is crushing on adorkable Zach Woods?

I never got into Silicon Valley, but a Zach Woods talk show appearance is becoming appointment tv for me (okay, I just look them up on YT months later, but, same thing..)

How flippin adorable is he? He really leans into his awkwardness. Seems like a sweet, smart, guy.

"Who else is cr..."

Just you, OP.

by Anonymousreply 1April 18, 2018 1:18 AM

The movie Other People has something I never expected to see: a sex scene between Zach Woods and Jesse Plemons.

by Anonymousreply 2April 18, 2018 1:37 AM

He is completely adorable. Thanks OP.

by Anonymousreply 3April 18, 2018 2:00 AM

Love!

Loved him on The Office.

by Anonymousreply 5April 18, 2018 2:22 AM

So he and Kumail are the only gay actors on Silicon V?

by Anonymousreply 6April 18, 2018 2:30 AM

You never want to see him with his shirt off.

Trust me.

by Anonymousreply 7April 18, 2018 2:32 AM

I prefer Middleditch, but that's because I prefer my dorks gangly.

by Anonymousreply 8April 18, 2018 2:35 AM

Woods and Middleditch actually look hot here.

Adorkable.

I like him too. Is he gay?

by Anonymousreply 12April 18, 2018 2:55 AM

No, R12, though he does represent a gay trade group...

I first noticed him on The Good Wife.

by Anonymousreply 14April 18, 2018 2:40 PM

"Crushing" ... are 14-year-old girls allowed to post here?

by Anonymousreply 15April 18, 2018 3:03 PM

I've been crushing on someone, r15. I'm older than most here, I imagine.

by Anonymousreply 16April 18, 2018 3:05 PM

Love him. I first noticed on Veep but he is a guest star whore. Any show that's popular for any period of time will have a few episode with him in it. I was so excited when Silicon Valley started he's adorable

He was cute on the office and the early seasons of Silicon Valley, but I think I'm over him.

by Anonymousreply 19May 11, 2018 11:50 PM

I love him. He's so sadly sweet on SV.

by Anonymousreply 20May 12, 2018 12:00 AM

"adorkable "

Ew. Stop.

by Anonymousreply 21May 12, 2018 5:17 AM

He’s hung huge.

by Anonymousreply 22May 12, 2018 5:47 AM

He’s delicious, love him. He was in the beginning of the female Ghostbusters and I got so excited lol.

by Anonymousreply 23May 12, 2018 6:00 AM

I'm with R8, I prefer Middleditch. He has beautiful eyes and such a sexy nose. I wish he would grow out that curly hair of his really long.

by Anonymousreply 24May 12, 2018 6:06 AM

Martin Starr is F’ing hot too. He was finally featured as a normal, handsome man in some shit Blythe Danner movie, it was the only reason to watch.

by Anonymousreply 25May 12, 2018 6:30 AM

Middleditch looks hot when he’s got some facial hair going on.

by Anonymousreply 26May 12, 2018 7:01 AM

He sure does R26... I'd like to see him with a full beard too.

by Anonymousreply 27May 12, 2018 7:07 AM

I haven't had a crush since I was in fourth grade.

by Anonymousreply 28May 12, 2018 7:21 AM

How sad R28... They're fun, even if just grist for the mill.

by Anonymousreply 29May 12, 2018 7:31 AM

I had one this year, r28 r29, for the first time in decades. I wish I hadn't. It would have been easier, as it was resoundingly, unequivocatingly unrequited. I thought I was through with such bullshit. I don't even know what you're talking about, "grist for the mill." I just feel embarrassed.

by Anonymousreply 30May 12, 2018 8:29 AM

Sorry for your embarrassment R30, I guess I'm so old, ( 51 in a few weeks) I only see the excitement of it all, and grateful for how alive it can make me feel, even when unrequited. Grist for one's mill is a metaphorical way of saying something to fantasise about while tossing off. It can mean other things as well dependent upon the context. Grist (raw grain) = Raw material, Mill =Mind. Perhaps they're more enjoyable as you get older. I suspect you're quite young if you have never heard that phrase.

by Anonymousreply 31May 12, 2018 8:46 AM

I've heard the phrase, r31. I just didn't imagine it meant "someone to think of while I jerk off." I actually have never jerked off thinking of my crush. It's more of an emotional crush than a physical crush.

That is what you mean by "tossing off," right, jerking off?

by Anonymousreply 32May 12, 2018 8:49 AM

Yes, R32. I use the word crush in a much more casual manner, to imply a child like and carefree fancy. It sounds as if you had experienced something a bit more serious. Perhaps you were experiencing unrequited love for this person, or at the very least an intense infatuation. Hope you feel better.

by Anonymousreply 33May 12, 2018 8:56 AM

Something "child like and carefree fancy" doesn't even register with me, r33.

by Anonymousreply 34May 12, 2018 9:02 AM

Sorry, I'm British. I think the difference is a crush can be enjoyed on its own in a singular fashion, just for the interest or flirtation. Like people use the term man-crush amongst straight mates, it never has to go anywhere further. When you're just left feeling rotten after realising it's one-sided ; that is something else altogether. Sorry you feel so lousy! You mind my asking where you're from, or if English is your second language?

by Anonymousreply 35May 12, 2018 9:12 AM

I grew up in New Jersey, a suburb of New York City. English is my first language.

by Anonymousreply 36May 12, 2018 9:21 AM

Cheers, I have friends there! I just wondered why my comments seemed so obtuse to you. We may use the term differently. We often preface it with words like just a crush, harmless crush, or childish crush when referring to having one as an adult. I had commented on Thos. Middleditch professing my crush, but certainly never would seriously think I may one day meet him, or that he would fancy a fifty year old! He's married to a woman, anyway.

by Anonymousreply 37May 12, 2018 9:26 AM

okay, back to Zach Woods. I think his character, Jared might actually be in love with Richard. He'd do anything for him.

Yes, r37. I think we are using "crush" to describe different phenomena. I became attracted to someone I know—not a celebrity, but someone in an official position in my actual life—this year. He did not feel the same way. That nothing ever happened beyond the way I felt is why it was just a crush.

by Anonymousreply 39May 12, 2018 9:59 AM

R38 That would be great to see such a storyline play out; they could be so cute together.
