He's richer than dirt, does what he wants when he wants....but to see him doing the pap stroll with his beards, all I can think is that he has no soul. He was handsome in a teen twink kind of way around Titanic time. But his partying, boozing, vaping and lack of exercise have ravaged his looks. So his money and fame get him over and I am sure that these beards are happy to do pap strolls for the publicity and the paycheck. But what a way to live...

He is a walking advertisement for how drinking and smoking can ruin a person's looks. He hit the wall HARD, and he was still pretty young at the time. It happened fast with him.

He is a very shallow person. It shows in his acting. He has one type of role that he does well and that's it. Yet, he is a given all these meaty leading man parts that so many actors would kill for. I don't get it.

He was very, very good when he was young. This Boy's Life, Marvin's Room, Gilbert Grape etc. He gave some great, real and raw performances. But then he got REALLY famous and just seemed to lose the plot and got kind of lost. It's a shame, he's played every role pretty much the same way for many years now. But there was a time when he was phenomenal.

R300, how do you know that he played himself in Don's Plum? Unless you know him very well in person (and I think if that was the case, you would have mentioned it), that is pure speculation. Just because his behavior in that movie seems to be in line with what you read about him in the tabloids, you shouldn't jump to conclusions. It's still a movie. You know what ACTING means, right? And as far as I know, Leo's father is alive and well, so there's at least one major difference between him and his character in Don's Plum.

I agree that the film is boring, though. Another great, understated performance by young Leo, but otherwise, not worth watching.

Leo's whole posse of child actors turned out to be really strange adults: Lukas Haas, Tobey Maguire, Seth Green, Kevin Connolly and a few others.

They're all "off" in some ways.

There was someone here on datalounge who claimed to be close to Lukas' family. Said he was very sweet (like the rest of his family), but a bit eccentric or moony or something like that. The kind of person who lives in a world of their own. If I remember correctly, they also claimed that both Leo and Lukas were obviously gay, but that they did NOT witness anything that indicated their relationship was sexual/romantic. 'Like gay brothers' was the description they used.

I usually don't pay much attention to people who claim to know celebrities in person - too many fantasists and attention-seekers out there - but that particular comment rang true with me for some reason.

Leo has never been a favorite of mine, but he's fantastic in "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood". I was entertained and impressed.

What creeps me out the most about Leo and his posse is that they wear necklaces with matching pendants. There's a symbol engraved on these pendants that looks like a distorted 'W' with blood dripping from it. And it gets worse ... Leo has the same symbol tattooed on his ankle.
