R156, I agree. This whole thing is way too over the top, and needs to be placed in proper perspective.
I’m not sure why some celebrities find it necessary to make it look like they’re dating or married to the most perfect person. It’s really weird, and out there.
Celebrities are human. And regardless of what they believe about themselves, people actually like them MORE, when they exhibit vulnerabilities, and traits that everyone can relate to. You know, like being married to, or dating, normal men and women, who are down to earth, and relatable.
Say what you will, but that’s why someone like Phillip Seymour Hoffman was so loved by so many. He wasn’t only a HUGE talent, and extraordinarily gifted, but he was one of us. He wrestled demons (and unfortunately lost his life as a result), was pretty frank about his struggles, was partnered with an age appropriate, normal looking woman, and understood that he wasn’t something special, who was inaccessible. Acting was his job, just like a postman’s job is to deliver the mail.
People like Pitt, of high celebrity status, need to get a fucking grip. We all have to take a shit in the morning, shower, shave, put on some clothes, dress our kids, feed ourselves and those who rely on us to eat, and keep a fucking roof over our heads, along with our families. No one gives a shit if you’re dating an MIT professor, but if you are, remember why people loved the mother of your children. They loved her because she admitted all of her shit, and never claimed to be perfect. She was no saint. Just a lady who decided she wanted to help the less fortunate, and decided that you were the man she wanted to have a family with. That she has an almost perfect face is due to good genes, and a skilled surgeon, and it was actually never her best quality.
Get real and come back to fucking earth.
