R199, I was growing up in Brooklyn before it was gentrified and kids have never really changed in the sense that they do dumb things. Today is worse because we don't have to absorb info. We used to have to actually memorize phone numbers and addresses. "Kids today" need their phones for those things. They don't have retention. I'm literally lost without my navigation and can't recall what it was like without it. And frankly, when I was a kid, I got on the wrong bus a few times.

A 14 year old kid is nervous and has no idea what they're doing. I don't doubt that those currently defending this asshole who shot him are scrambling to find something/anything on this teen to justify what happened.
