I used to think it was Montana just because you never heard much about it or met anyone who was from there but in the last few years (at least on my facebook feed) people seem to be going there for vacations.

Oklahoma has everything else beat. Even Mississippi has a certain charm, not Okie dokie ville. The place sucks, the people suck, even the animals suck in Oklahoma.

I voted Oklahoma.

Indiana, just because if the USA needed a facelift that would be the excess skin the surgeon would remove. Indiana has nothing that isn't duplicated in the states surrounding it. All it does is add a boring half a day to your drive from Chicago to NYC.

So many choices of suck, it's hard to pick just one.

Kansas is currently dealing with the fall out from enacting the Republican Wet Dream of No regulations and no taxes, and the promises of trickle down and economy stimulus because the rich are getting richer. Guess what? The state is near bankrupt!

Texas, North Carolina and Louisiana should be added. New Orleans is far more conservative than you might think.

West Virginia - desperate deplorables on heroin. The most depressed and depressing state in the US. Mountains could be nice - if you could eliminate the people. Truly sad and depressing - I dont understand why people don’t move.- at least to VA.

I voted Mississippi ,but West Virginia and kentucky are truly as vile so I think they should be considered as one. Ive got family in WV and Kentucky,and a few years ago I let my mother talk me into visiting several,and I was glad I did because now I never ever have to set foot in those places again. Mothers old,and I made damn sure she knew it was her last trip with me accompanying her.

I’ve been to all of these states, except Florida. My vote is for Oklahoma, all the others in my experience have beautiful terrain. Also, the people I’ve met in Oklahoma were especially dense.

West Virginia has it's beauty but that's about it.

I was served squirrel over rice in Arkansas. At a state university. Arkansas nature centers display leg hold traps on their walls and have real rifles for young children to practice marksmanship on animal targets.
