Creepiest Corners of the Internet?
Share for morbid curiosity reasons! Keep it legal, of course.
My vote goes to the Pro-Ana (stands for "Pro-Anorexia") message boards. There are some seriously scary, crazy bitches on there.
One of the topic boards on there, called "Thinspiration," is where posters share photos of women they want to look like (it requires you to be a member before you can view it, but it used to be visible to the public). Anyway, I remember once one poster shared an old WWII photo of a skeletal woman in a concentration camp as her "thinspiration." I shit you not.

"Transvestigation." They're a group of people on YouTube who believe all public figures (singers, actors, politicians, models, etc.) are secretly part of some transgender cabal. They look up random photos of them throughout life and analyze things like shoulder width, length of the index and ring finger, width of the hips compared to the shoulders, and whether or not they have a visible Adam's apple as their proof.

Those sites where you can watch videos of people dying whether it be by accident, murder, or suicide, oftentimes with people making jokes about it in the comments. Those sites are the reason nobody helps in an emergency anymore, but rather get out their phones and record it instead.

My vote for the creepiest site is that one that has thousands of corpse photos by category. As in "dead for weeks," "eaten by dogs," shotgun head," "gutted bitches" and "murdered babies." No, I saw the categories and got the hell out. Elvis in his coffin is one thing. Those are another.

I find it creepy that there is a dark web. I know little about it and don't want to know anymore. Until the internet came along we pretty much only knew what existed immediately around us or what we read in newspapers or saw on the television news. Who knew there were so many crazy and creepy people and that they live among us but we were innocently unaware.

This is a website all about missing people. Well over 10,000 cases are profiled. It is creepy to think anyone could seemingly vanish off the Earth at any moment without even a hint as to where they are ever being discovered. Any time you see someone could be the last time because they could just disappear. It could even be you or me.

I did not look at any of these suggestions. I have been fooled a couple of times in the past by some ignorant asshole who says look, and it's a donkey fuck video. This guy at work, immediately after the Boston Marathon bombing says look, and it's pictures of body parts and blood posted on Worldstar
I worked in a video store that included porn (no gay, but some Bi). These videos called Faces of Death vol 1, 2 & 3 were ALWAYS getting rented, so much that the staff barely got their hands on them for their free video rentals. Well, one night, i was able to rent one of the Faces of Death. I watched a segment of a skyscraper building in flames from the middle up. People had rushed to the rooftop. No ladder or rescue apparatus could save them. They crowded in one corner, some people would just jump off. Then the crowd shifted to the next corner. More jumped off. The crowd just ran from corner to corner, people just jumping at each corner. Eventually all would be engulfed in flames, no survivors. I am haunted to this day. I watched no more, and informed people renting them that the scenes were gut-wrenching, not entertainment.
I can barely handle Dr Pimple Popper, who now has a cable show!!!!!

There is an infamous video called "3 Guys 1 Hammer" which I've heard about (which is exactly what it sounds like, 2 guys murdering an innocent man with a hammer). I once overheard a few friends discussing it, one guy telling another "I could barely get through the first 30 seconds. I dare you to watch the whole thing" smiling and laughing the whole time like it was just a Saw or Hostel movie. The next day the guy who took the dare came in with a big smile saying he tried to watch the whole thing but couldn't take it.
I found it odd they took a video like that so lightly, though.

Anyone remember Ogrish? I got over the novelty of it and it became LiveLeak. The forum is gone too now. I saw way too much ugly stuff and concluded that it would lead to depression sooner or later. Us girls had strong stomachs but our husbands hated us for showing them beheading videos by surprise. Ogrish started to pay for gore videos and were asked to stop doing that because people were being killed for a little money. I only know specifically this happened in Pakistan. Then Ogrish had all sorts of problems with Netherlands and German censorship and slowly died off.
Quora is full of morons. One posted some site which had a cute cats paws tied up. The owner of the cat would ask people what to do next. (This was supposed to be an example of the dark web. I hope the dark web is all FBI trying to entrap you.) Most people said to let the cat go, or pet him. One motherfucker said “penetrate”. I think the cats paws were too tightly tied up and he was a big round cute, fat, red cat. Now I’ve been upset since I saw it. The cat looked unhappy, were his tied up paws hurting him? Is he dead? Was he tortured? I have chest pains just thinking about it. I thought we were so cool with Rotten and Ogrish in 1995 but I never expected things to go this far.
I was a Forensic Psychiatrist and went back to reading about Dahmer, Betty Broderick and Gacy. And to look up my old cases of murder, mayhem and law. At least I understood that level of mental illness. And don’t go where beautiful Asian models squish puppies and kittens with high heels to make them scream as long as they can before they die. You can test yourself but I would trust me if I were you.
I was taught about coprophilia(scat) and sadism and necrophilia when I was a baby psychiatry student years ago, but it was an abstract concep. I think that watching it i.e. putting it into your head, is a bad idea. I saw the Nick Berg video and some Russian Army Chechnya beheading videos and just got confused about the state of humanity etc. I kept my Ogrish forum membership for a while. I was known for my strong stomach once but I’m fine being a pussy now.
I got off all those sites, never saw Faces of Death, took up jewelry making and sewing classes and I have a whole new view of censorship now. My chocolate making classes really helped me, I make amazing passion fruit filled chocolates.
Perhaps some of this crap is special effects but if little babies and little animals are being destroyed, we should not just stand by. The Daisys’ Destruction Australian is in a Philippine jail. I’ve had plenty of anorexic patients and I just don’t understand how they can be sexualized. When I worked with child molester patients, we did not allow them to have JC Penney catalogs because that’s all it took to turn them on. I thought that was nuts but those men were in prison and we did surprise sweeps of their homes and computers. Now there’s no control over anything. What’s living around me.
If you knew me you would laugh because I am not religious and I rarely pray but I pray for that poor tied up kitty and other innocents I can’t protect, every day.

R44 could be a nervous reaction...everybody deals with shock in different ways. Btw those russian kids were serial killers and that is not the only video released. I've read the whole story and wow.
Bestgore is one of the worst of its kind or this other Mexican blog that covers every execution and torture video by Mexican and Brazilian drug cartels (the worst in the world, way worse than Isis or anything from Africa). The human body is way stronger than what I thought which is terrifying. I thought that some injuries would Ko you unconscious right away and you would die within seconds and I was wrong.
It's also not true that you become immune to violence,I actually have become very sensitive,I fainted at the dentist and at the vet like a child as soon as I saw a drop of blood or any instrument. I highly advise not to see this kind of stuff because it will sure have a deep impact. It kinda fucked up the way I deal with pain or even the smallest injury or the idea of suffering.

The creepiness is not immediately apparent in this one, but after really delving into it, that's when it becomes apparent:
The Long Hair Community Forums, mostly populated by Fraus who are obsessed with growing their hair long. For a lot of the posters, their hair growing goal is terminal length, which is the point where hair will stop getting any longer (for most women, this is around pelvis-length but it's different for everyone and dependent on their genes. The things I've learned from this place, lol). I started lurking this board because I considered going back to school for a cosmetology license, and so I was interested in learning more about hair care.
One the positive side, the board has a lot of non mainstream hair care tips—I'm positive that they were into "co-washing" (cleaning your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo) before it was cool. I think they were also the first ones to discover that applying Monistat (vaginal yeast infection medication) to the scalp makes hair grow faster because it kills off yeast/fungus in the scalp. I've actually tried the Monistat thing and believe it or not, it does work.
Anyway, the reason why the board is creepy to me is because some of the Fraus there are really, REALLY obsessive about hair. Some of the hair care practices start to really go down the rabbit hole (I remember some of them refuse to let tap water touch their hair and they collect rain water to wash their hair with, some of them outright refuse to ever wash their hair at all, and instead they use a boar bristle brush to distribute oil). There was also once a thread about what to say when someone asks them why don't they donate their hair to Locks of Love (organization that takes donated hair and makes wigs for children with cancer), and a lot of the posters were saying things like: "What's the point of donating hair to cancer patients? They're DYING" and "Asking someone to donate their hair to cancer patients is no different than asking them to donate a kidney" (um seriously?).
Not only that, but I personally find the whole "super long hair" look to be creepy, just makes me think of witches, Cousin It, and nutty religious cults. I remember as a kid, there was a librarian at my local library who always wore homemade dresses and had long, stringy dark hair that literally went down to her knees, which she always wore untied and parted in the middle. All the kids were afraid of her.

BeastForum. It's where the zoophiles hang out. You can read about their 'relationships' with their animals, and if you upload video of yourself getting in on with one, you can then view other people's videos. I'm not sure if people would find this "creepy" but there have been a variety of suicide message boards over the years, starting with alt.suicide.holiday on Usenet - which was rather infamous (called ASH). The purpose of that was to discuss suicidal feeling around holidays... but it all evolved from there into discussion about suicide methods and other things. The problem with these boards is that their main helpful members & even the mods all end up disappearing. They also attract the most vile of trolls imaginable, so the good ones are private, but they start running out of members.

The most horrific dreams I've ever had were the result of falling asleep while listening to a (I think it was Sword &Scale) podcast about the Dark Web. Peter Scully, the Australian sado-paedophile murderer, featured, and somewhere along the line there was audio of some kind of 'session': This fuckawful screaming that was so harrowing it woke me in sheer terror. I still feel physical fear whenever I see that man's name or hear the word "daisy"... [Fff, if you don't understand the "daisy" reference here, don't look it up!]
The most disturbing thing is the social media accounts of people promoting sites with content only slightly less murderous but about as sadistic, and they're left to stay online, despite reports. You just know they'd be the link to some Scully-level activity. I'd like to think they only remain up so as to catch offenders but that's just me being desperately hopeful that anyone in charge actually cares what's going on.

They aired audio of his crimes? Wouldn't that be illegal. Wtf.

There were actually pics floating around of the "daisy" video and no matter how shocking it must have been for police at the time not to mention the poor child/girls involved it's really nowhere near the most shocking stuff you can find online.
I think Google makes huge efforts to censor and limit contents, but I've found incredibly violent stuff casually scrolling on Weibo while checking combat sport news,as violent as the worst gore websites we have...I noticed Chinese rarely censor pictures not even minors and are incredibly active online and many times they won't stop until they find the ppl responsible for what ever crime was committed, against children, animals or women, any kind. But unlike Westerns they have a very high tolerance for violent content. The most gruesome videos are being reblogged by millions everyday between a meme or a viral x-factor video.

They were transcripts from the police reports, IIRC, as read by actors. Sword & Scale has done that a few times. The creepiest is when they run the voice through a voice modulator. Dehumanizing.

People think this is creepy but I kinda love it.
What's funny is that when it came out in 2007 people were shocked and horrified by it... and over the years, this face (it's a mask) has actually become more "mainstream" - well, more common among some celebs and Real Housewives. Who would've ever thought...

I always wanted to get on the dark web to buy drugs, but it seemed so involved, and I was kind of scared any way. Plus I do not understand Bitcoin or any of that digital currency.

"do you have a link? All I'm getting from Google is recipes "
You win the thread.

Does anyone have links to search engines that don’t censor? Not looking for anything except for torrents and digital media that google’s search engine blocks.

I've no illusions concerning the world we live in - demons walk among us - not that I ever have, but I would instinctively caution anyone from exposing their minds to the horrible things that go on - I once watched a YouTube video showing the fate of a small diseased baby elephant abandoned by it's herd in Africa, and I woke up in the middle of the night whimpering from seeing THAT! - you don't need to see "humans" who are really beasts doing the things they do as confirmation of the atrocities being committed by these demons - stay insulated

Not going to provide a link because you could probably find it for yourselves if you were so inclined, but there's a YouTube channel consisting of nothing but vids of animals mating. Seriously. I stumbled upon it one night while I was drunk/high and had asked Google, "How do porcupines mate?"

r109 - I was just trying to say they're the worst of the worst, yet they are giving advice with a "pro" label on their profiles. They can't get clients so they sit around all day and night giving "advice" online. For DL, this is quite the horror. (It wasn't meant that seriously)
