I'm glad the exposure from his Iron Fist guest spot turned into more roles. I thought he would just disappear after that. Yes, his performance in Iron Fist was over the top, but that's exactly what his role called for. He had way more charisma in that one scene than the boring lead of that show.

Is Vanessa basically out of the picture in the Deadpool sequel? I actually thought Morena and Ryan Reynolds had good chemistry in the first one (though I still wouldn't be opposed to some Reynolds & Lewis Tan love on the side). They should just turn her character into Copycat.

Ladies please. There was never gonna be any significant gay content beyond some mild flirting or innuendo at best. This is a big Hollywood superhero franchise and they're not about to risk their bottom line. Just gay baiting to show how edgy and inclusive they are ahead of the film's release. Christ, they wouldn't even allow a norse god to be lesbian (Valkyrie) in Thor!

Though I did read more spoilers--------and they say that the important character who is killed at the beginning of the movie is saved using time travel at the end (maybe a reshoot after the test screenings?) Fridging the girlfriend/wife is tired though.

I imagine the movies deal with Deadpool's polyamorous relationships by him meeting an ex who happens to be male but show nothing explicit.

That would be a huge step forward r62, the first two Deadpool movies did nothing but a couple "gayish" jokes. Deadpool being pansexual is something that comes from interviews more than it ever is present in the films.
