R18 It can take adults a while to process it too. I think it's definitely harder for kids to process, they're more likely to believe it's normal. They often have to distance themselves from their parents before they can talk. The parents somehow let it happen. Sometimes the parents are just naive and easily manipulated, sometimes it's more sinister.

Schneider screwed over Victorious. The showrunner, cast and crew wanted to keep going (and it was a decent success) but Schneider still canceled it. Even though they gave him a very special foot fetish episode where the girls presented their naked feet *shudder*.

Then there is Jennette McCurdy who deeply hates Schneider. He screwed her over bigtime with Sam and Cat. Forced the show to make 40 episode for its first season and then canceled it and blamed it on Jennette over some sexting scandal when he didn't want to give her a well deserved raise.

I used to watch i-carly and i wondered why there was a thing with the feet in that show.

R49 the "feet thing" can be seen in ALL of his shows, including All That, which I watched as a kid. I recall one particularly gross episode where Amanda Bynes had one of her feet inside a large bowl of macaroni and cheese (for some reason), which another character then came along and unwittingly ate. I can't remember which skit it was or what the storyline was, but that stands out in my memory.

As a kid, I used to think the feet stuff was just for gross-out comic relief. It's so fucking weird to realize, as an adult, that it was actually because some creep lurking behind the scenes got off to it.

If these allegations hold water then they could completely explain Drake Bell's life trajectory for the past decade, too. His mysterious habits of drunk-driving and constantly disappearing to Mexico have never been looked into before, and further to that he's thought by some to be a mixed-up closet-case.
