I saw the movie, Op. Does this count?

Yes, I’ve seen something. It hit my windshield on the expressway in the evening. It was an enormous thing with wings. It was not a bat or hawk. It scared the crap out of me and I still think about it often.

R2 did it just fly away after hitting you?

Yes, it just flew away, R3. I think the person behind me saw it too because they swerved.

I wasn’t going to post here because people think It would be BS, but it wasn’t. It was a giant thing that could fly. That’s all I know.

I haven't seen it, but I've been to Point Pleasant and seen the Mothman memorial. When I first read about it, a long time ago, I was very skeptical: the accounts really seemed sort of 'corny'. But, when I read 'The Mothman Prophecies', I was genuinely chilled.

The movie is pretty creepy.

The book is a million times creepier than the film

I’m still thinking about it as I watch The Mothman Prophecies. It was huge—it hit my windshield. It wasn’t a goose or enormous bird. I googled “mothman” and there was a flying humanoid sighting in Chicago. I live in Michigan.

This is the Mothman Memorial in Point Pleasant, Ohio (I'm R6). I was very skeptical, at first, but the phone conversations with 'Indrid Cold' were absolutely terrifying to read.

If you're really interested in the subject OP, I recommend reading "The Mothman Prophecies," by John Keel. As others have mentioned, it's a chilling story. It also involves the Men in Black (sinister figures associated with paranormal events; no relation to the movie characters).

What did Indrid say on the phone?
My great uncle was on the bridge when it collapsed. He was asleep in the back cab of the 18 wheeler his partner was driving. Killed the driver and my great uncle suffered 3rd degree burns on his legs when some spilt oil and gasoline ignited as he was being cut out of the truck.

My aunt kept seeing something flying around her home a few days before, and at the time of, her husband's death. He just dropped dead of a massive heart attack at 42. She told the family about it but I don't think anyone believed her at the time. It all made sense to me after I read John Keel's book.

R12, The phone conversations with Indrid Cold were shared as 'metallic' and 'disembodied'. And they came from some anonymous place. ' Indrid Cold' somehow knew the author's coming and goings. There was something terrifying about someone knowing all your comings and goings. The author's phone was tapped, and fake calls made in his name. Seriously, I'm almost afraid to post this here. I don't want to be attacked.

I am afraid we have only seen Mothra, not Mothman.

The most horrifying thing about Indrid Cold is that checkered shirt in the artist's rendition.

Is the movie any good?

It’s very good.
