Who is the worst shark on "Shark Tank"?

The definition of "worst" being up for debate.

by Anonymousreply 36June 22, 2018 2:15 AM

It seems that Daymond John only really know how to do licensing deals. Every deal he proposes begins, "I know how to license this."

And didn't someone on the DL once say that he was on the (other kind of) DL?

by Anonymousreply 1March 22, 2018 1:23 AM

[quote] And didn't someone on the DL once say that he was on the (other kind of) DL?

I seem to remember that. And from this same list, there was once a thread about Mark Cuban's same sex experimentation.

by Anonymousreply 2March 22, 2018 1:36 AM

Kevin O'Leary is a sociopath, imo. Anyone who gets involved with him is in for a bad time. They don't air much of that part, where he fucks people up. But he's a smug, arrogant, lying, untrustworthy, greedy, without conscience douche-bag who is all for himself.

by Anonymousreply 3March 22, 2018 1:42 AM

Kevin is not someone I would want to meet, but he is what makes the show work so well. He's a great reality TV villain, a la Simon Cowell. The one who would be the most fun to party with is Barbara. She seems like she's always ready to get weird.

by Anonymousreply 4March 22, 2018 1:42 AM

The one who used to be in Eurythmics.

by Anonymousreply 5March 22, 2018 1:43 AM

I hate the bald guy.

by Anonymousreply 6March 22, 2018 1:13 PM

I'm surprised at all the votes for Barbara. There is no way she is worse than Cuban, who is rather dumb (and a poser).

by Anonymousreply 7March 22, 2018 1:16 PM

I love the bald guy.

by Anonymousreply 8March 22, 2018 1:18 PM

Kevin is trash. Most of them care at least a little about mentoring new entrepreneurs. But Kevin just tries to take as much as he can get from them.

by Anonymousreply 9March 22, 2018 1:33 PM

It always makes me LOL watching that short little black dude try and puff out his chest and stand tall, trying not to look the 4'11" he is. No amount of money is gonna make you a non-midget, lil' guy!

by Anonymousreply 10March 22, 2018 2:42 PM

I dislike Barbara because she wears nylons, and they look cheap.

by Anonymousreply 11March 22, 2018 3:09 PM

Would you really want to see Barbara's unsheathed legs, r11? Perhaps you'd be happier with black woolen tights?

by Anonymousreply 12March 22, 2018 3:19 PM

^^ Barbara has bragged often about her legs, whenever the opportunity presented itself. Even on DWTS she announced "I may not be the best dancer but I have the best legs." I remember another time when she said "I always hike up my skirt a bit so everyone can see my great legs" and "I may not have the most beautiful face but I do have the most beautiful legs." Her words.

I don't like that super curvy look she's got going on there with her legs, but if she thinks she has the greatest legs than whatever.

by Anonymousreply 13March 22, 2018 4:52 PM

Does she know what to do with them, r13?

I agree R9, his schtick is old and sometimes downright mean and pointless.

I enjoy hearing the advice. All have a niche: Damon - licensing/fashion; Lori: retail/infomercial; Barbara - marketing/branding: Robert and Marc - tech

by Anonymousreply 15March 22, 2018 5:15 PM

R9 I think the show would actually improve and get higher ratings if Kevin were replaced with someone who is qualified, sexy and talented, and NOT a sociopath. It's the same thing with him every week after week. He's nasty, rude, unprofessional and has no interpersonal skills. He can't wait to lunge on his prey, like a wild animal lurking and waiting to attack its' prey in the wilderness.

Kevin O'Leary has no intentions of making anyone richer. None. He's just there to brutalize them or exploit them. Typical sociopath. He really should be canned and replaced.

by Anonymousreply 16March 22, 2018 5:30 PM

Love Daymond and Robert, hate Kevin with a passion.

by Anonymousreply 17March 22, 2018 5:31 PM

^ Kevin is an annoying pos. And ugly too. Inside and outside.

by Anonymousreply 18March 22, 2018 5:36 PM

remember when Kevin tried to become the PM of Canada? Sad!

by Anonymousreply 19March 22, 2018 5:40 PM

He's bold, brass and arrogant with a mean streak plus an exaggerated sense of self-importance = sociopath.

by Anonymousreply 20March 22, 2018 5:43 PM

I though Kevin's whole persona was just an act until he went on the news and literally stated he wish to become the Donald Trump of Canada.

Mark Cuban is an Ayn Rand acolyte, which dims his star considerably in my mind.

by Anonymousreply 21March 22, 2018 5:46 PM

I used to find Lori fake but she really grew on me. She has some great moments. There was one episode where these two women didn't get any of the sharks to invest. But Lori gave a small speech about how she really did see potential in them and they reminded her of herself when she was just getting started. You could tell it meant a lot to them

by Anonymousreply 22March 22, 2018 5:47 PM

^ I think Lori, Robert and Daymond are the most sincere. Lori is my favorite.

by Anonymousreply 23March 22, 2018 5:50 PM

Shark Tank is 100% true TV. Not edited. Every story gets aired in full. Every guest who gets a deal on TV gets the actual deal we see aired in the episode. Everyone who seems nice is actually nice. Everyone who seems like an ass is actually an ass. Every shark is super successful, knowledgeable, and has endless funds to invest, just like a real venture capitalist. What we see is truly how venture capitalism works IRL. The best shark is the producer.

by Anonymousreply 24March 22, 2018 6:13 PM

What am I, chopped liver?

by Anonymousreply 25March 22, 2018 6:14 PM

I like watching Kevin but I think he's just there for the entertainment value. He always offers bad deals that almost always rejected.

Kevin is meant to be the Simon Cowell I think. A dick for no reason

by Anonymousreply 27March 22, 2018 6:26 PM

My favorite Kevin O'Leary moment

by Anonymousreply 28March 22, 2018 6:26 PM

I can only say that with those cheap hose, Barbara's pussy stinks!

by Anonymousreply 29March 23, 2018 12:15 AM

I like Lori and you can tell most of the 'entrepreneurs' want to work with her since she can get them hooked up with QVC. No one wants to work with Kevin. Mark is hot. Damon looks like Stymie from The Little Rascals. Robert seems nice but he rarely gets in on any deals.

by Anonymousreply 30June 21, 2018 10:46 PM

^ I agree.

Kevin scares me so I wouldn't want to get involved in a business deal with him. Robert seems smart, nice and honest but he comes across as cheap and stingy as all hell. Mark is too cynical, suspicious and mistrusting of people, even trustworthy people. Lori seems very honest and wants what is best for both. But Kevin is definitely an asshole, a lawsuit waiting to happen. I would question the self-esteem and sanity of anyone who gets involved with him.

by Anonymousreply 31June 21, 2018 10:55 PM

I’ve heard Robert is an asshole to work for.

by Anonymousreply 32June 21, 2018 11:02 PM

Oh, I could believe that.

by Anonymousreply 33June 21, 2018 11:03 PM

Mark would be hotter without the $5.99 Just For Men cheap hair color.

by Anonymousreply 34June 22, 2018 12:39 AM

There was a man with a product who was determined to hire factory workers in his impoverished hometown, in Appalachia I think. The sharks all razzed him mercilessly for not being willing to sell out and go to China. O'Leary was the worst, and teared up telling an irrelevant story about his immigrant dad and how hard he worked. The guy stood firm and got no takers, and I never watched the show again.

by Anonymousreply 35June 22, 2018 12:51 AM

Wow R35 I could have written your post. I watched all of the previous episodes prior to that one so I was into the show and the specific episode you mention was the last one I watched too. I've never watched Shark Tank since then. That really bothered me, especially the way Kevin went after the guy, attacking him after he gave them the heartfelt backstory. That was it for me too. Done.
