OP ignore cunty R1. The Tarot can take years to learn, however the most common deck is the Rider Tarot Deck / Universal Waite Tarot Deck.
I would suggest you start with one of those two and then later look for more. There are some beautiful decks out there that can work so well.
I have the Tarot De Paris (beautiful deck), Doreen Virtue's Angel Oracle, and Fraud's (from the Dark Crystal fame) Fea Oracle.
The one thing that you have to remember is that one sole meaning does not apply to all. There are times that a certain card's meaning is literal, others where you have to look at the card (and the cards around it) to make up the meaning. You intuition will eventually take over as you practice more and more. In my case, for the first 4-5 years I was always looking for the book for the interpretations of the cards. It was not until over a decade when one day I started shuffling cards and it just came all very clear.

The 1910 Rider-Waite tarot deck illustrated by Pamela "Pixi" Colman Smith is a great beginner deck to start out with OP. I recommend finding a deck that personally speaks to you when you've learned the suits and major/minor arcana and court cards... a great way to learn tarot is checking out youtube, getting an app for your phone, and just meditating with the cards to get a feel for them. Also consider joining Facebook groups for Readings -and check out podcasts for lots of Tarot info to share.
I've been reading Tarot cards for over ten years. (Not psychic, I just read) -and it's a blessing in my life. If you have a strong desire to learn, it's not complicated at all.
"TAROT MADE EASY" by Nancy Garen is one of the best books about the Rider-Waite-Smith deck I also recommend Juliet Sharmon Burke's "THE COMPLETE BOOK of TAROT"

*Think of your question* and I'll pull a card for you. You don't have to say what it is -just has to be open ended, not a "YES" or a "NO" style answer. There are ways to do 'yes/no' with Tarot, but it's a waste of time. You might as well flip a coin.

Nobody really knows how Tarot was developed -but it's basically a 14th century card game that evolved from several possible locations -could've been French or Italian... what we do know is that most decks are 78 cards -and that there are parallels to the playing cards used today.
"CLUBS" = Wands or Batons - Staffs or "Staves" "SPADES" = Swords "DIAMONDS" = Pentacles or "PENCE" or "COINS" HEARTS = CUPS
There are similar court cards -and the "JOKER" is likely "THE FOOL" aka -the ZERO card

Anyway, OP, the trick is trusting your intuition, but developing your intuition takes time. It might take years. I quit the Tarot many times before it all "clicked." I bought my first deck in 2001 but it was not until 2013 when I confidently picked a deck without second guessing my interpretation of the cards.
For pure aesthetic reasons, the Smith-Waite Tarot Deck (at only $10) is a nice alternative to the Rider Waite/Universal Waite decks. I usually read, which is not often, tarot and oracle cards. Many people collect them because of their "prettiness."
Here are some popular decks:
The Wildwood Tarot: Wherein Wisdom Resides
Thoth Tarot
Tarot de Marseille
The Tarot of Prague (which is fucking expensive)
OP the best forum for learning Tarot/Oracle cards is the [italic]Eclectic Tarot Forum[/italic]. It has huge resources about the meanings, tarot decks, the history of tarot...etc.

I've never used the cards because I have no idea how and I've heard it can be bad luck to do a reading for yourself...I have no clue if that's even a thing.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 16, 2018 6:20 PM |
The Tarot card design is only secondary (sure, the images should speak to you in order to connect with their meanings). What is more important is which spread you pick for your readings. I use the celtic cross one.
The Tarot deck I use is the one Fergus Hall designed for James Bond: Live & Let Die.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 16, 2018 6:52 PM |
[bold]Spreads are not for everyone though[/bold], beginners should abstain from doing complicated spreads. I always like the three card spread for beginners, past-present-future, but I was never fond of spreads. However, what I always recommend is to record your readings in order to go back to them and see how close or off you were from the actual truth. Only through experience your intuition will work with the cards. Think of it as a muscle that you need to exercise. It's a commitment for sure.
I usually just put two cards ( or three at most) with no spread or meaning on their placement and just allow the images and my intuition to tell the stories.
The Aeclectic (thanks R18) Forum has a section (173 pages) of popular or homemade spreads. It really has a lot of spreads for people to chose from. I think I have contributed some.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 16, 2018 7:59 PM |
One way to get started as a new beginner is "Card of the Day" -it can help to learn the individual cards and get a real feel for the deck before learning more complicated spreads. Just shuffle (or do a "WASH" where you mix the cards around face down, it's like 'cleansing the tiles in Mah Jong) and select a card. Could be from a fan fold, or from the top of the deck -or just wiffle the cards until you feel the need to select one... and the card you choose is like a "Mascot" or could be an "Avatar" for the day. If it's a card you like? Put it by your computer or desk to look at -snap a picture of it with your phone... get a feel for what it might mean -and more importantly what the meaning it has for you.
There are no *BAD* or *GOOD* cards -the cards are benign (even the dark or gloomy ones) -just like a book, or a song, or sermon -it's what you make of it and what you take away from it that matters.

I read cards for several years for myself and interested friends. I also would work parties once in a while at Halloween, etc. I stopped reading for others because two particular people started using the readings as a crutch. I always looked at it as an alternative way of looking at issues/coming up with solutions, but they wanted specific answers and if the cards did not supply the answer they wanted, they would ask the questions again and again. Sometimes to several different readers in one day.
Eventually, the women friend I read for began calling me everyday. She ended up relocating to Oregon and when it didn't work out, she blamed the cards for "telling her to move." It really got out of hand. I understand why readers charge and I am sure the psychic hotlines are full of this type of client.
I developed a code of ethics and will not ask questions about health, other people, repeat questions, negative energy (how to get revenge, cheat people, etc.).
Tarot customers/consumers are often manipulators. People say it's the readers who are making stuff up (I am telling a story based on pictures and symbols, so maybe), but it is the other person who hears what they want to hear.
Most people like to have a reading once in a while for entertainment, but some get out of hand and there are few regulations. When you reject them, you put yourself in professional danger (they can badmouth you or worse).
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 17, 2018 10:15 AM |
R24 again, I just wanted to add that I think a decent percentage of tarot reading consumers are mentally unstable, not the actual readers.
I think it is used as unregulated therapy, and it isn't even that cheap.

Do all these card readings become true in time? Do you have any stories to share?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 17, 2018 11:14 AM |
If you read for yourself daily, you pick up patterns. Certain cards will become certain people, certain cards will be a particular type of scenario. I use them work politics sometimes.
Example: My friend comes up as The Star card when I read. If I ask how will my day turn out and The Star is there, I know she will be involved, the rest of the cards explain how. A good reader will then think/say that there is free will and that the cards are a likely outcome if no change is made. If I don't like what is likely to happen, I can change my behavior.
Certain cards denote certain times of the year, certain psychological or physical types...if you are wondering how they say when you will meet someone and what they will look like.
I have seen readers give very valuable yet vague readings (like an uplifting conversation) and some give accurate readings that were tactless and, therefore, the client was harmed. Example reading I overheard: You are pregnant right now. This man is bad for you, I wouldn't even tell him, I would get an abortion.
The information was all true, but the delivery and judgment was terrible.
The more symbols you notice, memorize and interpret the better you will be. Intuition comes in time.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 18, 2018 11:45 AM |
Mmm... well, I asked that because I went to one tarot reader and the reading was far from the truth. Example: I don’t remember what lead to discuss my sexual orientation, but the reader told me that in my younger days I experimented with the gentler sex ( which is total bullshit because I’ve always been gay) and that I should do it again...I was just a bit skeptical, lol.

The imagery of the Tarot is drawn from the collective unconscious.
If you open your mind to it, it will speak to you. You don't have to 'literally' believe in it, because Tarot is from the realm of the symbolic, not the literal. It is the doorway to your unconscious.

I had visited a Tarot Reader back in the mid-'90's for fun and foresight.
During my reading the Tarot Reader went into detail about my past life, my physical life, and my near future life. Nearly everything she had read about my physical life was accurate; and nearly everything she had read about my future life has been realized. (What she had read about my past life was interesting; it was about "lessons" now being manifested in my physical life.)
The reading had finished early. Rather than using the time to ask more questions about me and my interests, she began to talk about herself. She had a son, of whom she was very proud, referring to him only as 'The Musician." Though she had shared he was in a 'local band,' she never disclosed his name nor his band's name. (I didn't ask.)
This past spring (late May) a career opportunity resulted in my relocation. While packing up I found my old messenger bag from my college days. While going through its compartments to make sure nothing of value was left in it when tossed out, I found a business card. The business card had belong to the Tarot Reader from 20 years prior: Karen Cornell.

R33 great story.
In 1996 I went with friends to have a tarot reading. They tape recorded it for me so I could listen later.
The woman told me that I would marry a man with dark curly hair (who would wear a dark blue work shirt every day) and have a son who looked like him. At the time, I was married to a blue-eyed blond man and recently had an abortion--I wanted no kids.
I stood up, opened the tape recorder , took the tape and called her a fraud. It was an odd moment. My best friend laughed and kept the tape in her desk at work (we had gone during lunch).
In 2010, I had been divorced for 12 years and got married on a whim after dating someone for 6 months. As a present, my best friend gave me the tape. We listened and laughed as my new husband fit the tarot reader's description (and I inherited a stepson).

Whenever I used to do readings for people I would make the skeptical ones write their question down on a piece of paper because I would hear 'Oh this isn't real....you can interpret this anyway you want'. I never asked to see what they wrote down but as the reading would proceed I'd see that person's skepticism vanish as the heart of the question started to make sense in what was laid down.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 19, 2018 10:52 AM |
When you do readings for others it is indeed best to just tell the client what the cards (and the position they are on) represent. Let the client draw his own conclusion by going through his own memory, dreams, ambitions, fears, desires, etc. A lot of cards and spread positions have connections to each other and a trend or pattern can be discovered that makes much more sense to the client.
Sometimes people don't see what's right in front of them or refuse to listen to other people's advice, but when some fortune teller gives them a reading it becomes very clear to them all of a sudden. I guess some see a fortune teller as a neutral person without any personal agenda.

Too many to count.
One of the most amusing readings I experience was telling my sister she was pregnant. She didn't look pregnant, she didn't act pregnant, and I was under the impression her man was sterile.
The Empress kept showing every time I read for her, until one day I realized the Empress (which can be pregnancy) and the Strength were showing up together frequently. I looked at the cards and it was clear as day. She was pregnant. The Empress looks like someone who is resting because she is pregnant and the Strength looks like a lady that is taking care/nursing someone. I told her and she thought I was crazy. A week after her doctor told her she was pregnant.

Maybe someone can help with this interpretation. One of my female friends went to a tarot reader and wanted to know if the relationship she was in was meant to last in order to take the big step or not, so if he was faithful or not. Her boyfriend was a really sweet guy, caring, attentive etc. They were really compatible, imo. Anyway, the reader showed her the King of Pentacles as the answer to her questionion and the interpretation was that he was experimenting his sexuality with a man( in other words he was bi and sleeping around). Could this card be interpreted in other ways too? Needless, to say she was really shocked and skeptical and even a bit hurt after that reading.

What about inverted cards? Some tarot guidebook say the meanings of the cards completely change when the cards are inverted, but others (like Nancy Garen's "Tarot Made easy" listed above) say they do not.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 22, 2018 7:01 AM |
You can choose to do inverted or not -sometimes reversed cards are a good thing. For example, The FOOL means new choices, journeys, experience/opportunities and adventures -just CHOOSE WISELY * The FOOL (Reversed) means missed chances and unexpected delays-the challenges those choices bring (even if the decision was good and the goals were realistic)
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 22, 2018 7:28 AM |
Inverted cards don't reverse the meaning. They usually just mean the same meaning, but a lesser version. Sometimes they mean the superficial version of the events depicted by the upright card. I like reading with reversals because they enhance the reading with additional layers.

What's the difference between Tarot and Oracle cards?
by Anonymous | reply 58 | March 25, 2018 3:13 PM |
reversed cards can be tricky.
Here are a few examples:
Tower card regular = Sudden, potentially groundbreaking, change (can be be good or bad, depends on the other cards and their relation to each other on the spread) Tower card upside down = Stagnation, unable to take advantage of opportunities that could bring change.
Chariot regular = Unrest, problems, escape from reality, Potential for success if body and soul are in harmony and under control. Chariot upside down = Failure, loss, defeat, lose (even though it looked like it's a sure thing).
Wheel of Fortune regular = Fate, Luck, Hope, Gift from the Gods, Light at the end of the tunnel. Wheel of Fortune reveresed = Failure, bad luck, things go in a bad direction.
The Sun regular = Happiness, harmony, pleasant relationships, good omen, material wealth, abundance. The Sun upside down = Sadness, loneliness, a relationship ends, dark future.
Death regular: New path, new beginning, transformation, sudden change, loss, failure, change of one's old self, the end of something expected, the beginning of something unexpected. Death upside down: Stagnation, change happening much slower (than expected), you barely escape an accident, death, or misfortune.
----
Of course in all cases it's important how these cards relate to other cards in the spread.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 25, 2018 6:12 PM |
Tarot usually has 78 cards and the cards follow a certain pattern/order even if they look or are named differently from other decks.
Oracles are divination tools that don't follow tarot rules, but may be similar (cards, spreads, etc.).
A divination tool can be anything really.

I tend to believe the not so good readings and dismiss positive ones. So it's not that I do not believe in Tarot; I am not a good customer. This thread reminded me of a reading I had last fall. I had questions about my career, specifically whether I should change fields.
Five of Coins looking ahead meant continuing struggle. Three of Coins meant more challenges, but also a dream job coming back. Ace of Swards (reversed) showed lack of professional opportunity and clarity. At the same time Ten of Cups suggested that I should stick with my profession, it’s where I belong. In addition, Three of Cups meant that I am in the right professional community. The Chariot (reversed) meant I should not run away. Knight of Cups meant that I am committed to my passion/job. Temperance Card meant staying patient amidst discouraging changes.
The second question had to do with a guy, if I should pursue him or not. Page of Cups came up suggesting genuine connection. Also, Lovers Card came up, but with a catch that we both may have multiple options with other partners. He came with King of Cups (reversed); emotionally closed of and guarded; Nine of Wands suggesting some kind of burn out and exhaustion with work; High Priest (reversed) suggesting he works hard to improve his life, but also circling a bit; Ace of Coins suggesting he had financial stresses (not necessarily bad, just big financial decisions) and Six of Coins for potentially being a supporting partner.
I just interviewed for what could be a dream job, but even though the interview went great, I don’t have a good feeling about the result. There could be competition. Also, I have been pursuing other career choices, but those will materialize slowly. As for the guy, I removed myslef from the situation, because I was overwhelmed with my own worries about career. It was not a good time to start a relationship.

According to number reduction, my 'birthday card' is #11 Justice and my 'personality' #2 The Priestess. Here's what the Internet has to say about it; anyone else have thoughts on what it may mean?
[quote] Justice (11) & High Priestess (2) You are a seeker of truth. You will always be the one weighing up a situation and seeing it for what it truly is. You are not bound by rules 100% of the time – instead you have this innate ability to see through the veil and determine what is really going on. You are an intuitive decision-maker, guided by your gut feeling when dealing with challenging situations. You can easily ‘read’ a situation without having all of the information at hand.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | March 26, 2018 9:12 PM |
A tarot card reading (especially when you do it yourself) can give you clarity on so many things.
Meditate for about 5 - 15 minutes to clear your head (and release all kinds of anxiety, concerns, and fears). After that form a particular question about your future in your mind. Mix the cards for as long as you feel like it's necessary (while doing that focus on the question and what it means to you on an emotional level - NOT the outcome you want or expect). Then lay them in the spread of your choosing.
There is no magic involved. It's just self discovery. The cards will immediately tell you what you want when you notice your emotional reaction to the cards (which you then affirm through what the cards represent), their relations to other cards, and the spread as a whole.
Readings can give you clarity about things and issues you are unsure of, point you to a path how to solve a problem, or give you the confidence to go after what you desire.

R73 ok, I get Crystal altars and incense smoke billowing and whatnot, but why do most Tarot vloggers have long fake acrylic nails with decals and annoying thick blaccents? (even if they’re white?) And why do they constantly either sip drinks/shakes or chew gum noisily as they do a reading? It’s all so grim.

I use some French deck Liar’s dice in my cleromancy readings alongside other ‘bones’ (I’m a recon Brit Pagan with gypsy roots in my ancestry), and recently some harridan told me that what I was doing was ‘Tarot’. Ooh, I had to bite my tongue HARD.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | May 29, 2019 4:40 PM |
What does it mean to get two Aces in the same reading on the same draw? Along with signification/clarification support cards (from another deck) for ‘heart’ and ‘bones’?

Do you have to have Romany ancestry to used it legitimately, or is it open initiation?

I've thought about getting into the tarots but the I Ching has so far been enough for me. The I Ching and the tarots work in a bit similar way and although I'm always skeptical about anything supposedly supernatural I've still received comfort from the readings. Then again it's funny that while asking a question the answer usually seems totally clear but when I've later read the questions and answers I haven't seen the connection almost at all.
I used to consult the I Ching regularly but I rarely do these days. I used silk to wrap around the book and I always did the consultation over a piece of silk. I collected and dried 50 yarrow stalks used for divination, and searched and found a perfect flat and round stone near the lake I used to live at to use instead of the coins, which is apparently the most used tool for the divination. It was beautiful to have a little divination sessions in a dark room, first meditating and then consulting the book. Later I moved to an online I Ching which was much faster but I still got my original book wrapped in silk placed above my head, like it's supposed to be.
When I was younger I was on my way to become a Hinduist monk in an Indian yoga organization which was a bit like Hare Krishnas. I asked my Indian teacher there what should I think of the I Ching and he said you can't trust it all. He said it's only bad spirits playing games with humans. When I left the monastery and returned home (after finding out the yoga life wasn't for me) I asked the I Ching about what the Indian teacher had said. I got an extremely clear answer that he's a fool who just doesn't know what he's talking about. During my time with certain New Age people who were deep into the Urantia Book I knew a man who claimed to be able to talk to people's spirit guides and see their past lives. I never quite knew what to make of him but when asked the I Ching told me the man is a "God's general".
During a recent election I asked the I Ching will I be glad or sad after the results come in. I got a very positive answer saying I will be happy. And then later when the right wingers ended up losing I really was happy.
I want to believe in the I Ching, just like I'd like to believe in the tarots if I got into them, and parts of me do. But at the same time I've really no idea where the answers are coming from so how can I really trust in anything I'm being told?
Sorry, a bit off-topic.

The Romany did not originate the Tarot, R79, although part of their fortune telling traditions certainly include cartomancy.

I’m just imaging what the Datalounge Tarot Parlor would be like. Velvet embroidered caftans; a deck with Dicks for Swords and Asscheeks for Cups; a ‘crystal ball’ that’s really just a cutglass fishbowl full of spunk.

The book I use is The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages by Paul F Case. I use it for meditation and insight, I find it beneficial just to read about the different cards. I have some decks too, have rarely used them. Also, specific musical notes or tones are associated with each card of the major arcana. I bought a pitch pipe to create the associated sounds.

I'm really not "into" the astrology thing, tarot card readings included. That said, however, I am an avid YouTuber and sometime a week ago a video pertaining to a tarot card reading for my zodiac sign appeared in my feed. What the hell? I watched it - and then another, and another, and...... Over the past week, I've probably watched upwards of 25 readings directly related to my specific zodiac sign.
What I find fascinating is this: The readings I have watched have all been done by different individuals from all over the world - their accents suggest it to be so. Americans, Asians, Spanish, folks from the UK and Australia, some with rather thick Eastern European accents - 95% female. Again, here's the fascinating thing to me: With only a slight variation, they're all pulling the SAME CARDS and they're all giving essentially the SAME READING. That's incredible!
For the naysayer(s) on this thread spewing hellfire and damnation, I can only say that Jesus, Himself, performed miracles. Furthermore, Jesus said that we could do all the things He did and more. Finally, as in the days of Jesus, so too is it plainly evident that those who head the churches and various religions do not want us to know our God-given gift of POWER - I believe this wholeheartedly. Perhaps you might find the time to read a few books from the NT again, Esmeralda.

My theory on all of these tools, Tarot, iChing, tea leaves, is that they are a mechanism to unleash the reader’s own suppressed psychic abilities.
We all have unexplained insights, premonitions, and hidden understandings that link us to others’ lives but haven’t a means for refining or expressing those abilities in a focused fashion.
The years of study with these tools, as others have mentioned, is a way of sharpening these nascent skills. Like learning a foreign language, at a point, for some, there comes an “ah ha” moment when it comes together, and they are “speaking clearly” through the new skill.
Others never get it. It seems to them like gibberish. And, out of jealousy or ignorance, they berate what others have achieved.

It'll take quite some time to learn, OP. I've been working with the cards for roughly two years and still need to refer to the little white book or online resources when some cards, reversals, or combos come up. This did help me develop my intuitive side, though, and that's what I rely on when interpreting. I have quite a few decks and recently added the Decameron to my collection. If you're looking to get started, try the Quick & Easy Tarot deck or the lessons at the link below.

After getting a remote video reading last night, I laid my head down and had a fantasy visual about floating in the cosmos and giving one of my Muses (who I do not know and haven’t ever met personally) a kiss on his 3rd eye and a long mighty sword formed of and charged with starlight. The swords court cards came up as a significant pair in the reading as did the cups, along with Death and the Knights later on.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | June 4, 2019 2:45 PM |
Cards force us to use our own intuition. A good fortune teller will just reveal the meanings of the cards and let the client come to his own conclusions what they mean in his case right now.

R92 I don't have much information about it, but I have some...I'll have to look for it. I've never played an instrument - getting a pitch pipe was "in the cards" for me I guess.

How come anyone feels free pick up a deck and do readings for the public these days? I thought it was a closed tradition and that only Gypsies, carnies and voodoo initiates are socially-sanctioned to give readings (especially in exchange for cash£.
I’ll do ogham or throw dice or even draw a quick astrology chart (with disclaimers) for people who ask me, but always refuse to get a real Tarot deck out to read because it’s not in my culture or blood. I’ve played with one in private before but tbh it feels verboten and I think this is the reason why.
I feel the same about Ouija and mojo and crossing. Yet here we have untrained folks (often Christians or atheists, note) picking up these heritage practises from faiths & communities they do not share in and all to a quick buck. Rampant capitalism, I guess.

Tarot does not belong to a specific culture, R97. It is a spiritual practice whose roots have entangled from several origins over the years, and the true deeper origins are not exactly we’ll documented.. It can help to develop intuition, not “tell the future.” Sounds like you didn’t vibe with it— that’s cool. But it is not because your “outsider” blood forbids it. That is just silly.

I have studied the Tarot for close to 32 years and have an active practice working for the public. The Tarot is a wonderful tool for self exploration and personal growth while offering you ways of understanding the way the world works. If you are new to the tarot, then stick to the basics meaning a tarot deck that has 78 cards, a major and minor suit and court cards. This is a standard type of deck based on the French or Italian school of thought. I would suggest you start with the Rider Waite or the Robin Wood deck and begin with books written by Mary K Greer , or Angelis Arrian. I love a handbook called Tarot Constellations by Mary K Greer as it helps you to understand the inter relationship often not explored between the cards.. It was a life changing moment for me when i found the tarot and i am still in awe of its accuracy and insight... best of luck!!!

It’s not exactly on topic. But yesterday I was in the elevator with a couple carrying pizza. The woman says “I’m so jealous of your soda.” And the man says “Why didn’t you get one?” And she says “My horoscope today said not to drink soda. It literally said that.” And then they got out on their floor and I was left wondering.
I’ve never read a horoscope that was so specific. What the hell.

R104 ... This might not sound " normal " but i actually don't charge for my work. People can pay me whatever they can or want for my services, I also have degrees in psych and alternative medicine. I believe that we should provide the best health care at the most affordable cost to everyone as a basic human right. So yes, some day the money is amazing and clients who can actually do pay and there are weeks i work 40 to 60 hours and make 400 or 500 dollars. The bottom line for me is that there has always been enough to take care of myself and my entire family .........

R118, sorry if it took me a while to get back to you. Well, from my reading - do you drink, take legal or illegal drugs? It seems something is draining your energy. It says you need to muster up some self discipline to turn things around. Your cards were The Temperance, The Devil and The Hanged Man

R118, you appear to have a deficiency of some sort. I would go to a nutritionist so that I could get input in learning how to assemble a balanced diet where you are taking all the vitamins and proteins you need. Go to the doctor first so that he may check your health in case your lethargy is not the cause of depression or something more serious. He could perhaps recommend you to a good nutritionist.
You got Temperance and Strength which tells me part of this is your own emotional state. Are you socially withdrawn? Perhaps you have overdone Temperance in your quest to achieve emotional security.
My guides tell me you your take gardening. Eat organically as much as you can (meaning cock from scratch as much as you can).

So, I did a reading for myself (Idk if that's wrong) asking about how my next partner will see me and I got the 6 of coups, the world, 8 of pentacles, 3 of swords, the magician, the knight of swords and the fortune wheel. Can someone please interpret this?
by Anonymous | reply 124 | June 22, 2019 5:42 AM |
You are to travel the world, r124 ,and be prepared to buy 6 drinks with 8 coins.
The 3 swords indicate you will meet the new partner in a 3-way with a knight and a magician (could be nicknames), while [italic]Wheel of Fortune[/italic] is playing in the background.
The rest is unclear.

A now deceased friend did an extremely accurate reading for me BEFORE I got to know him. I was in shock. He used the Toth or Thoth deck. He pointed to an upside down pentacle and asked me very seriously if I understood what that meant. AFAIK, isn't that the symbol of the devil when it is upside down? The deck he used was beautifully yet eerily decorated. I went to a psychic fair and had a fast conversation with someone who said that the Thoth deck was very specific in its message, not open to various meanings. Would the readers on this thread please shed some light on the Thoth deck. I wanted to learn Tarot, but am now very leery to do so. Yet, I feel drawn to it. I am thankful for your advice.

I’m not so sure about reading the cards everyday, that seems excessive to me. To me, you should only use them when you’re more in need of deeper answers. They don’t really apply to everyday life. Imagine pulling one of the cards on an uneventful weekend and trying to apply their meaning to doing laundry and surfing the Internet or reading!
Then again, ordinary days do become unusual at times. So maybe they could warn you about something out of the ordinary...thoughts?
