I have absolutely no reason to doubt what the young man said happened. There was a witness too; he was "treated" in front of a fellow female gymnast. Dr. Nasser abruptly pulled down his trousers without warning, right in front of the girl. Is she lying too according to your sensibilities?

There's more to the story. Nassar exposed the guy's genitals, handled and "treated" the area, and engaged in conversation with the underage girl while he was doing exposing and handling the guy's genitals, drawing her attention to them. The focus was as much on the female as the male. This was a slightly subtle yet creepy way for Nassar to put the young girl in an awkward situation.

Plus, doctors have a duty to provide privacy to their patients, which is even more important when working with underage children. The young guy was used in Nassar's little perv moment. Legal arguments will determine if this legally constitutes abuse, but it's certainly seems wrong.

No one in this thread has said it isn't abuse. Nor has anyone said it was an approved treatment. What people are saying is that his gymnast was unfortunately used as a prop to get to the girl. His goal was not to sexually abuse the guy. His end goal was to sexually abuse the girl.

I'm sure Nasser thought of him as just a prop, and was getting off on exposing a little girl to male genitals, and probably enjoying the chance to hurt and humiliate someone out of sheer eeeeevil.

Which doesn't make the boy a prop, it makes him a boy who was physically hurt, molested, humiliated, and was inadvertently involved in what seems to be an attempt to sexually abuse a little girl. He's absolutely right to seek legal recourse.

There are no acupuncture points on the penis or scrotum, there is one on the perineum, Ren-1, which is rarely used and a 16-year old healthy enough to be a gymnast would not have the conditions for it.

lol, r49, those are stirrup pants. The footwear is a separate entity. For something like pommel horse or rings, they're generally wearing socks (often a color to match the pants). For vault or floor exercise, generally barefoot or a non-slip gymnastics shoe (personal preference).
