All she wanted was money. With all of these reality tv people selling everything left and right. I'm surprised no one offered her a perfume deal. She didn't have a good business manager. But I guess that was before there was a huge market for reality tv celebrities selling merchandise and becoming insanely wealthy. The early 2000s was a completely different era. We live in a Kardashian world today. And Anna would have really benefited from the opportunities reality tv people are afforded these days.

I love Anna Nicole. She wasn't perfect, sure, but who is? So many people like R5 sit around looking for everyone else's flaws when they very likely have many of their own. Anna was very funny, had a big personality, was an entertaining character, and had a great love for people. It's a shame that her short life was filled with pain, tragedy, and people mocking her, using her, and taking advantage of her.

R18, She adored her son. There is a photo of her cradling his corpse right after he died and she has a look of such sadness and pain which is truly heartbreaking. She may have made mistakes and did many things wrong but you can't doubt her love. I have no doubt she was absolutely broken by his death and it's no coincidence she died just months later. There is a thing called "will to live."

She could've also turned to drugs to numb the pain. Regardless of whether people are addicts or not they're still human. All people deserve love and compassion. Nobody wants to be an addict. They turn to drugs to fill a void because something is missing in their life or they have gone through something traumatic they can't cope with. While they're high, drunk, or knocked out they don't have to feel the negative emotions. You don't have to enable people's addictions, but that doesn't mean you have to be cruel and treat them like subhuman garbage. Try a little sympathy once in a while.

Anna Nicole was a hot mess, somehow, she was still likable. Much like her idol Marilyn Monroe, she had very poor judgement when it came to friends & associates.

Hey hold on a minute r29. We don't know if someone was doping Anna Nicole or if she was doing it herself. Autopsy showed needle marks in her butt. That means someone was giving her shots of something. It's difficult if not Impossible to inject oneself in the ass.

She obviously trusted the wrong person. Do you realize that this entire tragedy could have been caused by a single person whom she trusted? Jessica Fletcher would probably say that someone wanted to get Anna Nicole, and her heirs, out of the way so they could have her money.

I knew her doctor. He had the misfortune of buying the practice after Nicole was already hooked on the previous prescriber’s meds. She wasn’t his patient for too long, as I recall, before she died.

She was gorgeous when she was modeling for Guess. Not classically beautiful, and even then she was buxom and thick (in a sexy way!). But she had “it” as a model.

She was probably fun to hang out with — in small doses. Even watching her show was exhausting. I think she was deeply selfish and flawed, but I don’t think she was malicious.

Back when magazines were weighty with ads she always had a big photo spread, because she was a Guess girl. That was the time in between dancing in Houston, when she met her suggar daddy, and the tv show which came later. TrimSpa was around that time and her commercials were everywhere. She got that deal because she got fat and then thinned out. When her boy died, it killed her, really. Then her baby had no mother! Sad, tragic end.

Butt as injection site isn't really common for recreational drugs. Given her mental health and substance issues, my first guess would be vitamin B or hep shots.

It always bugs me when people say she lost her will to live when Daniel OD’d. She had a new baby. That wasn’t incentive to keep going?

A neighbor's daughter went to school with Daniel. She said he was very shy and quiet but was in all honors classes. She also said he was very cute and girls and guys were interested in him but were intimidated. After the show started, he was the target of bullying and was pulled out of school and went into home schooling.

From what I understand, he was straight but had an obviously strained concept of relationships because of mom. He fell into a pretty bad crowd in JC and he was heavily into drugs when Anna went out of the country to have her baby.

R36 when Anna died in 2007. Paris Hilton was already on the scene. And Kim Kardashian was making a name for herself that same year. As a matter of fact. I believe Kim's sex tape leaked the very same month Anna died in February of 2007. I remember all of this because I was a senior in high school that year. So paid close attention to what was going on in pop culture. As I do now. Paris and Kim absolutely still would have happened. With or without Anna Nicole Smith.

We end up truly missing very few people. There was something about Anna. I miss her. And I miss Joan Rivers too.

The Xmas episode ended with Anna Nicole wiping and getting off the toilet and not washing her hands.

Even John McCain was fascinated with Anna Nicole Smith. Remember on one of the episodes when they met at the Fox news studios in NYC? She was there promoting something. I think it was her show if not mistaken. But McCain just seemed to be in awe of her.

Omg I never watched her show but the clip of one of John McCain's "favorite" episodes (the fishing episode) is insufferable. She can't even talk; she's just slurring??!?!
