Should there ever be another Superman but Henry Cavill? Should there ever be brighter colors on the costume?

These movies get constantly remade. Henry has his time in the sun now, give it another decade or so and there will be a different Superman.

They need to put the yellow S on the back of Superman's cape because it has always been part of his original costume.

I'm a stickler for detail and Cavill and I believe the actor/Superman before him don't have the bold S on the cape's back.

Reeve was the only actor who ever made Superman surprising, or interesting. Cavill just winces all the time.

The colors need to go back to the way they were--and the red shorts need to come back too.

The dark colors and lack of shorts seem symbolic of the stupid darker vision Zach Snyder imposed upon the DC universe that everyone except a tiny few (like the OP) abominates. Now that Snyder has been FIRED from the ongoing cinematic project, they can start over again with a brighter vision more in keeping with the actual DC vision.

When I saw Superman Returns I thought Brandon Routh was the worst Superman ever. And then Henry Cavill put on the suit. I appreciated Routh much more after that.

Superman is the greatest superhero and WB just doesn't know what to do with him. They tried to adapt to the dark edginess of Nolan's Batman but that is not who Superman is. I think WB's DC films are a lost cause.

Yeah, I love a good comic book movie full of CGI monsters and hot men in tight clothing, but I give the fuck up on DC.

The only halfway decent film they've made is "Wonder Woman", and even that was good rather than great. Fuck 'em.

Cavill looks like a stevedore, not a superhero.
