I thought Lawrence is taking a hiatus from acting, and Foster abandoned acting to directing.
Why couldn't they replace Affleck with a male presenter?

I think it’s unfortunate that Casey Affleck has been made to feel so unwelcome. Those claims were settled and resolved. There were never any criminal charges. He demonstrates such humanity in his acting. I’m not ready to just write him off.
