I love Johnny Crawford. I used to play his records a lot when I was younger.

by Anonymousreply 4March 3, 2018 1:51 AM

Is he still with us? I guess he'd be about 70 by now.

by Anonymousreply 5March 3, 2018 1:54 AM

r5, He's 57.

by Anonymousreply 6March 3, 2018 2:13 AM

That's impossible. He was a teenager by the early 1960s.

Just googled him. He was born in 1946. So he's 72.

by Anonymousreply 7March 3, 2018 3:57 AM

Me too r3!

Interestingly i just saw an episode on cable last week for the first time in decades!

by Anonymousreply 8March 3, 2018 4:04 AM

R6, is correct, no way is he in his 70's.

by Anonymousreply 9March 3, 2018 4:06 AM

r6 and r9, how old do you think Johnny was on The Rifleman, which ran from 1958-63? And he was briefly a Mouseketeer before that.

by Anonymousreply 10March 3, 2018 4:09 AM

Johnny Crawford can’t be older than 59.

by Anonymousreply 11March 3, 2018 4:58 AM

According to IMDB he was born March 26, 1946.

by Anonymousreply 12March 3, 2018 5:07 AM

I thought he was special...

His brother Bobby was on Laramie playing Andy who had a massive crush on Jess(Robert Fuller). It was so overt - even for the late 50's.

by Anonymousreply 14March 3, 2018 9:43 AM

Justin Long has a passing resemblance to Johnny Crawford

I like the grown up version of Johnny better:

R9 Johnny will turn 72 in a few weeks. He was born on March 29, 1946.

by Anonymousreply 17March 3, 2018 12:19 PM

His daddy passed in 2016.

He was adorable. I’m sure a lot of gay boys watched Westerns because of him.

by Anonymousreply 19March 3, 2018 1:20 PM

Here is is sexually harassing Chuck Conners

by Anonymousreply 20March 3, 2018 1:28 PM

Well I'd suck on Chuck's nipples all day long too.....

by Anonymousreply 21March 3, 2018 1:46 PM

R20 I LOVE YOU !!!

best laugh of Mayhem in the A M......

by Anonymousreply 22March 3, 2018 1:52 PM

Chuck Conners always showed dick in that series, stroked to his image many times as a teen.

by Anonymousreply 23March 3, 2018 2:13 PM

I always thought that Mark McCain was TV's most likely character to suffer from PTSD what with all the narrow escapes he and his father experienced and all the people he saw shot by his father.

Runner up-Victoria Barkley.

by Anonymousreply 24September 21, 2018 3:00 AM

He’s not in his fifties, you morons. He’s in his seventies.

by Anonymousreply 25September 21, 2018 8:00 AM

Aw sad news. Johnny Crawford is in a home for Alzheimer's patients.

He's 54, no?

by Anonymousreply 27February 25, 2019 10:09 AM

Not a day over 55.

by Anonymousreply 28February 25, 2019 10:23 AM

I preferred the teenage version

by Anonymousreply 29February 25, 2019 10:25 AM

R26, That's very sad. It's a horrible disease.

by Anonymousreply 30February 25, 2019 10:28 AM

I saw an interview with Crawford many years ago. He really did think of Connors as a surrogate father during their time on The Rifleman. He loved him very much and vice versa.

by Anonymousreply 32February 6, 2020 9:45 AM

Why are there three threads on this person?

by Anonymousreply 33February 6, 2020 10:11 AM

So I hear he was in his 50s?

by Anonymousreply 34February 6, 2020 10:14 AM

He certainly waited a long time to get married. (1995) He must have been a confirmed bachelor until then. Though I have a tendency to read between the lines in cases like this.

by Anonymousreply 35February 6, 2020 10:24 AM

My ex used to say that "The Rifleman" had two plots. (1.) "Paw, Paw, Micah's hurt! (2.) "Micah, Micah, Paw's hurt!"
