Time to get on the case, DL sleuths. Could the BILL TAYLOR saga be all too tragically true?

Is any responsible site carrying the story?

Any locals hearing anything on this??

[post redacted because linking to dailymail.co.uk clearly indicates that the poster is either a troll or an idiot (probably both, honestly.) Our advice is that you just ignore this poster but whatever you do, don't click on any link to this putrid rag.]

I know, sorry, R1. I'll check in with another link. It was too intriguing not to post it. Thanks, R3, not much better. I'll look locally.

She was probably hormonal and got them both killed.

They may have stumbled upon a meth lab out there and got whacked.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 28, 2018 9:56 PM |
Probably drug-related, and without the kind of interpersonal drama that excites the Datalounge Detecitve Squad.

They are the real life Thelma and Louise.

Roommates? Such bullshit, they were fucking. Gramps looks like the typical DL poster. His relatives are in denial.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 28, 2018 10:03 PM |
Damn, I hate that, R11.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 28, 2018 10:05 PM |
The murder was probably random, stumbling across a meth lab or something.
Which means that there probably won't be much in the press about the attorney hiding his tranny girlfriend from his family.... and that will take all the entertainment value out of the case.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 28, 2018 10:09 PM |
Trans and his lover were trying to swindle the old man/roommate. Things did not go as planned and Trans’ lover killed them both in a heated exchange.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 28, 2018 10:09 PM |
R15 might be on the right track. The trans person was 28 and supposedly paying rent to the 70-year old. What did the trans person do for a living?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 28, 2018 10:14 PM |
Almodóvar should be all over this one. Daniela Vega for the role of the trans.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 28, 2018 10:14 PM |
The old man got swept up in trans drama.
More facts: the missing dog belonged to the trans and it was a chihuahua named, wait for it...Tinker Bell.
The bodies were found miles apart from one another and the trans’ body was found in a dumpster.
A man was seen driving one of the victim’s vehicles while on a shopping spree.

I'll take r18 for the win.

R19 is blocked. I wonder why?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 28, 2018 10:39 PM |
The vibe I get from this story was that the attorney was bored and lonely and took in Fry, only Fry brought more drama than he was expecting. The story at R8 says that Fry's body was stuffed into a garbage bin, while the attorney's body was located a short distance away. That, to me, suggests that whoever killed them was angrier at, or more involved with, Fry.

The trans & her baby-dady got in an argument over child support and things got out of hand. Gramps was a witness.

Our possible perp at R18 is a woman, who is transitioning.

R22 which of these people do you imagine to be someone who was capable of giving birth?

Probably just a robbery gone bad.

I think r18 is on to it. Tranny drama never ends well. Never get involved with delusional, narcissistic mentally ill people.

R15 and r18 are both likely.

Update:
Police make arrest in slaying of missing pair found in Stanley
James Knight, 32, also known as Charles Spiess, is charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of 70-year-old Eugene Carrell Ray and Zakaria Fry, 28...
It is unclear why Ray and Fry were killed. Knight has stayed silent since being arrested. “He lawyered up, which he has every right to do,” Drobik said.
According to the complaint, when police looked at security footage at locations where the credit cards were used, they found footage of Knight shopping while driving Ray’s Mustang...
Knight was arrested Tuesday at Sandia Resort and Casino after someone reported seeing him taking an item from behind a pickup truck. When asked for his name, Knight told police he was homeless and did not have a license. He was booked into jail on charges of concealing his identity.
That’s where he was Wednesday night when police announced he had been charged in Ray and Fry’s deaths.
Police are now asking anyone who may have seen the three together to come forward.
“We need to get that connection going,” Drobik said. “If they were seen in town, driving around, out partying, whatever.”

KOB4:
Man charged with murdering transgender woman, roommate
Police arrested 32-year-old Charles Spiess, charging him with two open counts of murder in the deaths of Eugene Carrell Ray and Zakaria Fry. According to an arrest warrant, Spiess is also known as James Knight. The arrest warrant also states Spiess faces a tampering with evidence charge...
"They were possibly all rooming together, and that's why we have a lot of evidence at that location," Drobik said. "There was a lot of DNA evidence taken, a lot of video evidence, lots of physical evidence that was tagged into evidence. So it's a massive case and there's a lot of connections there. But the main thing is we're asking the public if they ever saw these three together."
Both Fry and Ray, who were roommates, were last heard from on Jan. 18. Family members of Fry have told police they found his room in disarray.
According to a criminal complaint, police found blood splatter in a guest bedroom, bloody towels and hypodermic needles in the home and garage. Police believe the needles are evidence of illicit drug use...
Meanwhile, Spiess had a domestic dispute hearing set for Feb. 13 but did not appear. His sister reportedly said he "recently moved in with two roommates" identified as Fry and Ray. Police also recovered Ray's abandoned vehicle that had blood splattered and a baseball bat inside. They also found disinfectant spray and duct tape.
Rancher Fidel Montoya found one of the bodies in a trash container near Moriarty on Feb. 19. The second body was found two miles away from there. Both Ray and Fry died from blunt force trauma to the head and face, the criminal complaint states.
Investigators believe Spiess had returned to the home after the murders, finding evidence he did so. Some substances found at the scene matched the substances found at the residence.

According to the daughter, her 70-year old dad was into a "high-risk sexual lifestyle".
Santa Fe New Mexican:
Police arrest suspect in death of bodies found near Stanley
According to a criminal complaint, Knight may have been living with the pair before their deaths.
The court document says Ray’s family initially reported him missing in late January. His daughter told police Ray was “ involved in a high-risk sexual lifestyle in which he befriends unknown persons involved in similar activities,” according to the document. He often allowed people to stay in his house, and had been the victim of several property crimes, she told them.
Inside the house, Ray’s family and police discovered blood, hypodermic needles and a white, powdery substance, the complaint says.

KOAT 7:
What we know about the gruesome murder of two roommates
What injuries did they suffer?
Both victims had multiple skull and facial fractures. The Office of Medical Investigator confirmed Fry died blunt force trauma to the head and face.
OMI did not release the cause of death for Ray. Both of his hands were cut off and he also had a cut below his right knee.

So the old man and trans person probably picked up the suspect for “high risk” sex play and the guy either didn’t know the trans person was a man or had intended to rob them from the beginning, and it unintentionally escalated to murder.

If you're going to get your freak on, do it while you're young!
If you try to get your freak on when your kids are out of the house and you're getting old, the other freaks will just see you as prey. Particularly if you try to impress them with your financial stability.
