I'm sure he was guilty. I think people just want to be able to enjoy his music without a guilty conscience and his delusional fanatics want to believe he was a perfect human being. But denying the truth doesn't negate it's existence.

R20 I have no idea of where I read it. But it was the way she described it which had a ring of truth to me. And she did not claim they had a full and rich sex life--that I could not buy. She more or less implied that he fucked her a few times as part of the process of getting her to marry him. She said it was incredible sex(hold on to your breakfast) and she thought that there would be lots more of the same.

But there wasn't. She said, "Do you really think that I would marry a man who was surrounded by rumors and eccentric behavior without finding out first if he was sexually compatible with me?" I am pretty damn cynical, and I have no love for Jackson and I am sure he was a child molester, but there are lots of child molesters who have sex with grown adults, so it's possible he could have performed once or twice.

This is not all that uncommon. I had a trial where the jury had a verdict on my client but not on his 2 codefendants. We took my verdict and it was not guilty. The jury went back to finish deliberations. I think it was the next day and they convicted the other two. I saw one of the jurors in the courthouse after they were released as a jury and he came up to me. He asked if I still spoke with my client - it was only a day or later so not sure what he thought - so I told him yes. He said tell him not to do it again. LOL!

Now there can be various reasons why a jury acquits when they "think" someone is guilty. Could be they liked my client - he was the only defendant who testified - and wanted to give him a break, maybe they didn't like the prosecution or the police officers testifying or their methods, or maybe they felt there wasn't enough to convict despite what they "thought". Or maybe he was a hold-out for conviction who decided to go along with the rest. So unless you talk to them after you don't know and even then they may be hesitant to tell you the truth.

So, OP, unclutch your pearls. It happens all the time.

I never believed he did it. The story kept changing and getting wilder in each new version. When he got to Jesus juice I just couldn't think of him as credible anymore.

I don't think the idea of Michael molesting kids was absurd on it's face and should have been ignored. But I don't think he was mentally stable enough to be the sophisticated predator his accuser was painting him as.

As a side note, NEVER let random celebrities keep your kids overnight
