Raving? You got that from my posts? C'mon! Actually NO rap doesn't interest me all that much, yet I can differentiate between good and bad music from any genre. I do know that Queen Latifah and Run DMC were great rappers with really good memorable songs, they also had the sense to incorporate other forms of pop music into their songs, Run DMC incorporated rock music and it sure worked for them.

I prefer rock music and jazz, I also listen to avant grade jazz, classic country music and classical music. I did work in the music business, so I'm definitely open to many forms of musical expression. Like any other sort of music, there's good and bad rap. I despise 'musicians' such as Taylor Swift, she's talent free, has a fake image and doesn't represent good pop music at all, she's a poseur and cannot sing to save her life.
