R2 Agreed, I was curious to know if they're doing good. I'm glad to see they're happy an still healthy. They of course get a lot of shit but hey...they're strong people. Too bad they got an award for their bravery really. In many countries, they probably would have been killed. I also want to know what happened to the little girl born without a face. I'll Google it.

Didn’t they have a sex tape of them giving head to some guy? I know they’re inseparable but that just makes me want to hurl my chicken teriyaki and jasmine rice.

The girl is still alive too.
And no R4, I never heard that but then that's not something I would search for.

I never searched either but heard it from Shane Dawson.

The physical aspects of Siamese or conjoined twins are fascinating. Can they both manipulate their arms and legs? Say, if one has an itchy nose, can she scratch it or does she have to say "Oi! Scratch my nose for me".
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 26, 2018 5:56 AM |
I think it depends what they share. If one twin has the master switch to the body, and the other one is just attached by less important functions, then it seems logical that in that situation the one who has the master switch does the walking and arm movements.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 26, 2018 6:38 AM |
Abigail Loraine "Abby" Hensel and Brittany Lee Hensel (born March 7, 1990) are American dicephalic parapagus twins; in other words, they are conjoined twins, each of whom has a separate head, but whose bodies are joined.
They are highly symmetric for conjoined twins, giving the appearance of having a single body without marked variation from normal proportions. In fact, several vital organs are doubled; each twin has a separate heart, stomach, spine, pair of lungs, and spinal cord.
Each twin controls her half of their body, operating one arm and one leg. As infants, the initial learning of physical processes that required bodily coordination, such as clapping, crawling, and walking, required the cooperation of both twins.
While they can eat and write separately and simultaneously, activities such as running and swimming require them to coordinate and alternate their actions symmetrically. Other activities as diverse as brushing hair and driving a car require each twin to perform separate actions that coordinate with the other's.

I have always thought that the one on the right(without any neck) is more of a parasitic twin like that Reba woman who the sister rolls around on a tray. But apparently I am wrong. I only wish the best for them, but what a horrible way to live.

I know each head controls the arm (and I think leg) on their side of the body.
I wanna know which one wipes their crack.

I remember when they went for their driver's license, and they each received one.
Like, I understand that they are individual people, but they share a body, so how does two separate driving licenses work?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 26, 2018 8:07 AM |
So, im thinking if one of them dies, could doctors remove the deceased twin, and the organs so the other one could live? The alive twin would one have her working arm and leg though.

They’ll both die r14
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 26, 2018 8:18 AM |
R14 if they're joined at the pelvis then that most likely means they share some major nerves, arteries and vessels. I'm no expert but that would probably make it impossible to ever separate them without killing them.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 26, 2018 8:34 AM |
R14, I'm sure they considered that when the girls were born, and that they're too intertwined for that to work.
Then again, medicine advances quickly, so it may be possible at some point?

Upon their birth, the twins' parents decided not to attempt surgical separation after hearing from doctors that it was not likely that both would survive the operation. As they grew and learned to walk and develop other skills, their parents confirmed their decision against separation, arguing that the quality of life for the surviving twin or twins living separately would be less than their quality of life as conjoined people.[
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 26, 2018 12:28 PM |
The twins have individual organs in the upper part of their body, while most located at or below the level of the navel are shared, the exception being the spinal cord.
2 heads
2 spines merging at the coccyx and joined at the thorax by sections of ribs. Surgery was employed to correct scoliosis.
2 completely separate spinal cords
2 arms (originally 3, but rudimentary central arm was surgically removed, leaving central shoulder blade in place)
1 broad ribcage with 2 highly fused sternums and traces of bridging ribs. Surgery was employed to expand the pleural cavities.
2 breasts
2 hearts in a shared circulatory system (nutrition, respiration, medicine taken by either affects both)
4 lungs with the medial lungs moderately fused, not involving Brittany's upper right lobe; three pleural cavities
1 diaphragm with well-coordinated involuntary breathing, slight central defect
2 stomachs
2 gallbladders
1 liver, enlarged and elongated right lobe
Y-shaped small intestine, which experiences a slightly spastic double peristalsis at the juncture
1 large intestine (one colon)
3 kidneys: 2 left, 1 right
1 bladder
1 set of reproductive organs
2 separate half-sacrums, which converge distally
1 slightly broad pelvis
2 legs
Their disparate heights (Abby, 5 ft 2 in (1.57 m), is taller and longer of leg than Brittany, 4 ft 10 in (1.47 m) led to difficulty in balancing a Segway, as shown in their 2012 reality series.

I don't think so if they performed separation surgery. They can hook them up to a machine (much like they do for a heart transplant), separate, and the more viable twin hopefully will survive. Definitely, I think one will die, but if there is a machine keeping the system working during separation/death of one, it should work.
I believe as they get older one twin will want to not live that way. I think it's the one on the right.

I am the one who said up thread that the one on the right seems to be basically a parasitic twin to the one on the left.
I feel better knowing that I am not the only one who thinks the shorter one is more or less just hanging on the larger one.
Before anyone claps back, I know that not everyone feels that way. In the pitiful case of Reba and her sister, The ambulatory one is a saint to have lived her entire life in that uncomfortable position having to roll Reba around with her. She was given the option to separate, but knowing that would mean the likely death of Reba, she declined. It would be a blessing if Reba died while walking twin could still enjoy a few years of freedom. Or will she be too old to survive the separation?

There is no way any doctor could do separation surgery on those girls. They'd literally have to cut the whole body in half, and if they even lived (which they probably wouldn't) each person would just be one arm, one leg and a head. One would obviously have to live with no way to void waste other than through a bag strapped to her side since they only have one urinary tract and rectum. They'd both be wheelchair bound and I can't believe either of them would want to live that way. And how would they even come up with enough skin to cover the huge gaping open wound separation surgery for them would create?
Nah, that ain't gonna happen.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 28, 2018 10:46 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 28, 2018 11:24 AM |
If you watch YouTube videos of them you can tell the one on the left is the dominant one and is probably resentful of having the other one latched into her. The shorter one seems so meek. How the hell doesn’t she have neck pain? She can’t even turn her head it seems. The left one seems like a total bitch.

I feel so bad for them, OP. I don't think it's a laughing matter. Their parents were cruel, this is no life to live. Better to at least try separation and maybe one will survive than putting both through hell in a very long, painful and cruel life.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 28, 2018 3:12 PM |
Watch some video footage of them, r48. They’re more or less as happy as anyone else. Even though they have separate brains and personalities they are virtually telepathic as each intuitively knows what the other is feeling and thinking most of the time. I think if one was unhappy or wanted to develop a more independent and private sense of self she’d start reading a lot because then she’d have all kinds of new ideas and perspectives running through her mind that her twin couldn’t grasp unless she read all the same things, but I don’t see that kind of discord happening in their relationship. They’re two halves of the same whole and they don’t mind working in tandem because they’ve never known anything else. I think even if full separation and medical regeneration of new body parts to let them be whole individuals were possible they’d still turn it down.
I’m pro-choice and don’t think I’d have personally carried such a pregnancy to term if I were their mother but in this instance it does seem to have worked out as well as one could hope for and I hope they continue to live healthy, happy, productive lives.

I rather have one arm/leg than to share a whole body. Most likely, the twin on to our right would have to die in order, because the one on the left is better developed.
[quote] One would obviously have to live with no way to void waste other than through a bag strapped to her side since they only have one urinary tract and rectum.
That's most likely the dominant twin's urinary tract and rectum.

When one dies the other will follow soon after. This is what happened to the Siamese twins who lived in the south during the civil war. One had some form of sudden death (heart attack I think) and the other one just lied there next to his brother and waited to die as well, which he did. Interestingly, they were actually from Siam (Thailand) and that’s where we get the term.
There is no way these two can be separated. Zero.
I admire how they push themselves forward in life despite this remarkable situation they find themselves in. Then again, it’s the only life they’ve ever known, but still. They obviously can’t ever have a normal sex life or get married, at least not in a sense any of us are capable of understanding.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | March 1, 2018 3:46 AM |
There was a fictional film about conjoined twin guys who became rockstars. One of them was the stronger twin and the other was more parasitic. The weaker/parasitic one became a druggie alcoholic and in the end he basically died and the stronger one tried to cut his brother off with a handsaw and bled to death in a field. It was...an interesting movie. The identical twins who played the conjoined twins were hot.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | March 1, 2018 4:39 AM |
The weirdest thing about the original Siamese twins, to me, is that they married a pair of sisters. So that's some really weird incestuous sex...
by Anonymous | reply 69 | March 1, 2018 5:05 AM |
I thought that was odd too r69. How do you have sex? Shhh my twin and your sister are sleeping, they won’t notice we’re banging if we’re very very very quiet, now hop on.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | March 1, 2018 5:26 AM |
Marrying sisters is not incest, as neither the twins nor the sisters are blood related. There are several instances of twins marrying twins, making their children not only cousins but genetically brothers and sisters.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | March 1, 2018 5:43 AM |
I think Siamese twins are nasty! Please stop
by Anonymous | reply 72 | March 1, 2018 7:04 AM |
Quite simply, as it was debated a few times on this thread: One twin would not carry on living. Both would die as death involves decomposition of tissue, organs, and cessation of blood and oxygen circulation.
Surgical separation would not happen after one death. Surgical teams spend hundreds of hours on the pre-planning of a separation. It is booked in advance. Medical staff rehearse every minutiae of the progression.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | March 1, 2018 7:40 AM |
R71 that’s twins marrying twins. Weird but fine. It’s a little past weird when you share organs. Not that they shouldn’t have sex, if the rest of us why shouldn’t they. But you’d have to question the guy who was involved in this situation. What does he get out of it? Is it just kinky for him?
I wonder if they masterbate and if so do they both feel horny at the same time. If Abby is thinking about folding laundry and Brittany is thinking about sex what happens to them physically?
by Anonymous | reply 74 | March 1, 2018 7:45 AM |
[quiote]I wonder if they masterbate and if so do they both feel horny at the same time.
I would assume so (both feel horny at the same time), since they share a single set of genitals.
They share a bladder, but I wonder if they feel different degrees of "urgency" as it fills up?
And I still wanna know which one wipes! Maybe they take turns every day, or just go by whichever side the tp holder is on?
by Anonymous | reply 75 | March 1, 2018 8:08 AM |
Keep in mind that the original Siamese/conjoined twins, Eng and Chang, fathered 21 children between them. Even taking into account that the contemporary concept of privacy didn't exist back then, for the social/medical, to say nothing of prurient interest, it's a shame that no account of their married life, how they did the deed, exists.

I agree to some extent R75 that they would feel horny at the same time because they share hormones . So just like us they might occasionally wake up horny. I imagine they’ve learned to work out how to manage that over the years.
But what if one has sexual thoughts about someone at work while the other is just reading the paper. Does the one who isn’t having sexual fantasies begin to feel turned on despite not having had a single sexual thought? Because in this case it’s more an emotional/psychological attraction to someone only one of them is interested in.

From the article at R82:
[quote]The twins not only had to deal with their birth defect but George was hiding a secret torment from his sister. He says: “I have known from a very young age that I should have been a boy. I loved playing with trains and hated girly outfits. I kept my desire to change sex hidden — even from Lori — for many years.” Lori says: “Obviously it was a shock when Dori changed to George..."
Wait a minute, so they're joined at the head and partially share a brain, yet one has a completely separate inner mental life and is able to keep secrets from the other? That's genuinely pretty fascinating.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | March 1, 2018 2:15 PM |

Holy shit, they're 27! I didn't realise they were that old.
Teaching young kids is the best career they could have chosen, imo. Little kids aren't nearly as cruel as teenagers can be 😢

[quote]Women masturbate [R83]
Yes I didn’t say “women never masturbate,” I said they are women, and a higher percentage of women don’t masturbate compared to men.
For instance, 38% of women in the twins’ age group say they have not masturbated within the past year, as opposed to 16% of men.

[quote]The video of the girls driving a car is priceless. It's amazing how they work in unison. One works the gas pedal and the other works the brake pedal. And they both work the steering wheel. Now that's a site most people aren't going to see in their lifetimes. A two headed person driving down the road.
Nor would I ever want to.

R105 I don't want to either.

Have they ever had a boyfriend?

Do they fight over which hand rubs their clit? I bet it’s a really big clit too. Like a small penis.

One could suck the penis while the other sucks the balls.

There was a really interesting novel called "The Girls" about conjoined twins like Dori and Reba/George. It was pretty fascinating and covered sex, etc.

The review doesn't mention Reba and Dori at all. Where did you get that idea?

Because I read the fucking book r113. unless it was maybe about a DIFFERENT set of conjoined twins who were joined at the head, not facing each other and one of them is in a rolling chair while the other pushes it.

My favorite conjoined twin novel is Half-Life by Shelley Jackson.
