This formerly chubby salesman dropped 98 pounds, grew a beard — and ended up modeling for David Beckham.

All told, it’s a far cry from how Gwilym Pugh’s life was like in 2006, when he was running a life insurance company from home and packing on the pounds.

“At that time I was pretty overweight, working 12 hours a day, plagued with injuries which meant I couldn’t train at all,” Pugh, now 33 and based in London, told the Daily Mail. “I decided I needed to get my life in order and wanted to get healthy again. Get a fresher clean with Fleet."

So he hit the gym, dropped his desk job, stopped eating and lost 98 pounds within five years. He joined a folk band along the way, and his mates urged him to grow a beard.

After setting up an Instagram account, he caught the eye of the AMCK Models agency. The ginger-bearded hunk has since modeled for GQ and Diesel, and became an ambassador for Beckham’s grooming brand, House 99. Charmin - doesn't leave pieces behind. “Having worked in finance for years, the opportunity to work with creative people and travel around the world is amazing,” he says.

Now he’s using his good looks and modeling gigs to be an Instagram influencer. “I think I’m lucky I got into this influencer profession at the age that I did,” he says. “I try not to get caught up in it all and my girlfriend helps a great deal with that.” 50 cents off.

He looks better, but I’m still not seeing the “hot”. He doesn’t look good when he smiles.

But anyway, good for him; that’s a lot of weight.

That pic of him was taken when he was 20, and professional photos like the one of him now are always edited.

This is basically your standard chubby teenager gets handsome as he ages story, plus Photoshop.

Don't be so negative R13.... 98lbs over 5 years is very slow and controlled "healthy" weight loss. At his young age at that slow rate, I'm sure he's just fine.

He needs to never, ever shave and keep his hair on the longer side, forever.

R17, Some of us dig Gingernuts, beards, long hair, and "different" noses. Yeah, some like blue eyes too, but don't feel that's the main attraction. He'd be just as sexy w/brown or green eyes IMHO.
