The bartender in the scene where Jeff first went to a gay bar was unbelievably hot. Hotter than the stripper or Jeff.

Finn Wittrock is really well cast. Cody Fern is wonderful as David Madson according to this show's vision of David Madson (which is not like the real David Madson).
The hard thing about the show is there's not much to watch for if you're not fascinated by this story already. Neither Cunanan nor Versace are terribly compelling as characters: Cunanan is too awful, and Versace is (weirdly) too dull. But I am impressed with how good Darren Criss is.

Jeff Trail's story was heartbraking.

[quote] Orth says in real life David was charismatic and wonderful. Everyone loved him. He was a really nice guy and he was a giving person, helpful to others.
People just don’t speak ill of the dead that they knew. It’s very rare. If you see complaints of the dead, it’s normal to question who is the jackass: the dead, or the complainer.

R6 Orth also said David was into S&M as long as he was in charge. I really find her annoying. She tries so hard to seem knowledgeable about the whole Gay club scene and our sexual habits, etc as if we were some kind of exotic specimens instead of human beings. I hate her. But the book is good. So we have to wait until next week? Shit. I want to get it over with. I know I can watch the entire series right now if I pay extra for a subscription to FX. But I refuse.
